Looking at the place outside, it doesn't look like much. But the food will deliver. I got the lamb noodle soup and the hot sour noodle soup. Both delicious. Both had loads of flavor. The hand pulled noodles give such a nice texture to go with the meat. Everything was so awesome and would definitely come here weekly.

Great food I love it all. The hand pulled noodles are magnificent. Chewy and tender and some of them were over a foot long. I tried the noodle with extra pork added 1/2 spicy. The flavors and aromas were heavenly. I gave been back at least 6 times. I am hooked.

I have no idea what happens to this place. It used to be a very authentic chinese restaurant. But it's not now. They even put parsley instead of cilantro. Chinese food never use parsley dude! Everything is sooooooo salty. Can't complaint. Won't come anymore. That's why I'm an only Asian customer during my visit.

It's a small shop that can use some updates but whatever. Food is good! There is no table service and there's very few small tables so it's not for large groups. Bring just one friend LOL. Your food will be at the counter on a lunch tray and to go containers even while eating in but that's ok. The kids allow u to take leftovers home which we did! We had the hot and sour hand pulled noodles, the lamb hand pulled noodles, lamb skewers, and both the lamb and pork flatbread sandwiches. The noodles were both very flavorful and warming to the soul. The hot and sour hand pulled noodles soup is the best I've ever had. The lamb skewers were tender and tasty and my tip is rip a piece of flatbread and put some of the lamb skewer meat in between and dip in the noodle broth. The flatbread sandwiches can use more seasoning or herbs but still really good. The meat was tender and juicy. It got really busy when we went there around lunch. We just beat the rush by a few mins then a large crowd came and filled the shop. This is in Woburn BTW. Can't wait to try the other things at the Westford location.

If you can handle the fact that this place is simple and quaint in a Chinese American way, then you're halfway there. If you can handle eating some food without endlessly customizing it because you're picky, you will be fine. If you don't have to have sesame chicken at every Chinese place in the country, there is a chance for you. Go here and get some noodles. You don't know how lucky you are to have a place like this.

    Small portion size

The plasticware and styrofoam cups and bowls were a no for me, the iPad that you place your orders on were filthy dirty. if you are GF very few choices-was told all noodles were made with "wheat" flour. My portion size for the lamb flatbread sandwich was 2oz of lamb and 2 oz of onions. Disappointed based on good reviews. I would get takeout if you are curious about the food and want to try it. If you are getting a dish with flatbread and noodles they give you plastic gloves and have you break up the bread yourself then give it back to them to fill-not sure why the customer has to break their own bread up into the bowl?

Came here for the first time and ordered takeaway through Uber Eats. Ordered their hand-pulled noodles with extra veggies and a tea egg. Total came out to around $15. What's Hot - Quality. Pretty delish! The hand pulled noodles were definitely chewy and flavorful. I can't be completely certain they were freshly made in-house, but they were definitely tasty. The tea egg was flavorful and I could tell it had been stewed pretty well. The marinade went through the whole egg. It's not easy to find delicious hand pulled noodles, especially ones that are wide, chewy, and flavorful. This definitely hit the spot. They have Chinese on their menu and their Woburn location is run by Chinese immigrants. In my experience, that lends to more authenticity for ethnic restaurants. - Menu. Pretty good variety. There's different meats (ie: lamb, chicken, beef), vegetarian options that also allow you to go vegan. It's not an extensive menu, but I like that, especially because this is type of Chinese food is more localized (ie: hand pulled noodles and flatbread). - Service. Pretty good, responsive, and quick. Because I ordered through Uber Eats, the earliest time option I was given was 1 hour later. I called the restaurant to ask if my order could be prepared and picked up earlier. They confirmed they received my order, but hadn't prepared it yet, because it was going to be prepared closer to the specified pick-up time on Uber Eats. Because I asked for it to be ready sooner, rather than later, the staff told me it could be ready in 10 minutes, which worked out perfectly. Food was ready pretty quick and all wrapped up and ready for me to pick up when I arrived. - Location. Conveniently located in Woburn. One of the things I appreciate about the location is that there is plenty of parking close by. Much of the parking is timed parking, but it isn't difficult to find parking within walking distance of the restaurant. Definitely helpful. - Health and safety. During this time of the pandemic, especially because the CDC is relaxing mask mandates, it was reassuring to see the sign taped on their front door requesting customers to wear masks. Additionally, when I arrived, I saw their staff wear masks. I also saw hand-sanitizer available for customers and staff to use. What's Not - Portions. The noodles alone are around $12 and the portions were not large. For example, it's not a large bowl of noodle soup. The noodles alone wouldn't have gotten me full. What helped me get full was the additional veggies and tea egg, which cost me additional money. Be prepared that you may need to order extra items, especially if you're hungry. - Price. To be fair, it's not the most expensive Chinese restaurant. However, I'm surprised there are extra costs for add-ons. For example, extra veggies was an additional $2.50 and the tea egg was an extra $2. Call me old-school, especially because I've traveled and lived overseas in parts of Asia, but I'm not used to additional costs for such items. It was a good amount of extra veggies, which added a freshness to the flavor. The tea egg was definitely flavorful and I could taste it had been stewed well. Just be prepared that if you want a few add-ons, you'll have to pay. Final Answer Definitely on my list of Chinese restaurants to go back.

I think ultimately this place was 3.5 stars. We had been to the location in Boston a number of times and decided to try the Woburn spot since it was closer to our grandfather. Good value and generous servings. They do take credit card now! The hand pulled noodles were deliciously chewy, authentic, and never ending. The saving grace of our meal. I wish I had just gotten a noodle dish, but the broth ruined it for me. It was a great amount of spicy but just wasn't flavorful and didn't come together. Generous amount of meat but could use more fixings. Really, really did not like the roujiamo. The "flatbread" was too heavy and tasted like pizza dough. Very Americanized and not what I was expecting at all. The lamb skewers were good when you got a good piece but inconsistent. Some pieces were just pure fat, and some skewers had more meat than others. Overall I think it was a solid visit, and maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but I'm not sure we'll be itching to get back.

#5 House Noodle Soup. The meat is flavorful broth is ok.

Would have given 5 star if veggies were fresh. What I love the most is the pork meat. It is very flavorful.

Pork sandwich. Baaaaaaad. Dripping grease. Bleh.

Urgh. So so. House soup with noodles was good, but pork sandwich was dripping with grease. Bleh.... Plenty of free parking up front.

Hand pulled noodles here are still the best in the area. I remember when Gene's was in Westford. This is a must stop when I am in the area.

I recently stopped here a couple weeks ago to get some takeout. It's been awhile since I been here, and the last time I did, the previous owners told me they were leaving. The old booths were all gone so I knew something was up. Mind you, the old Oriental wasn't phenomenal, like the Kowloon, but it was decent enough as far as Chinese food goes. So I walked in, the new owner, if that's who it was, greeted me, and I picked up a menu which was the same. Sat down at one of the tables, (new furniture and decorations looked nice, albeit crowded and smaller than before), and picked out what I wanted. They threw in an Egg Drop Soup for free. I don't like that soup but that was gracious of them. I got home and when I got to my steps, the bottom of the bag ripped open and one of the containers fell out and spilled it's contents. I looked at it and said, "What the *&%# is that?!" Not only did this cheap paper bag with no cardboard on the bottom of it rip open, but the glop on the ground wasn't the fried rice I ordered. It was some grey pork chunks with noodles and stringy yellow vegetables, something I would never order. I scooped up what was on the ground and threw it into the swamp out back along with the egg drop soup. The rest of the order? Terrible. The Crab Rangoon's were hardly fried, white, cold, and mushy. The chicken wings were bland and under cooked as well. They're usually pretty tasty from this place, I think they used to use lard when they cooked them, which is healthier and tastier than oil actually. The pork and noodle dish, what was left of it, was disgusting as well, greasy and chewy. The egg roll was the last thing I ordered and it was okay. It's hard to mess something up that's already pre-made. The fried pork rice with bean sprouts was not there, that was the mistake they made when they gave me that grey pork slop instead that festooned my patio. Needless to say, I won't be back after that horror show. My quest for a decent Chinese takeout place around here continues...

I ordered the beef noodle soup ($15.95) and vegetarian leek pie ($9.95). Both came out within 10 minutes. The beef noodle soup had the thin flat wheat noodle ubiquitous in Taiwanese noodle soups. The soup was well-flavored with stock. Too many of these sorts of places over-rely on soy sauce, making a salty yet thin and underflavored bowl. Not here. I will nitpick and say that I would like larger chunks of beef, not the sort of cubed stew beef you see at the supermarket. The vegetarian leek pie (as it's called in the menu) is a pastry stuffed with chive (not leek), egg, and vermicelli. It was decently salted and hot. The portion sizes were quite satisfying as well. Closing thought - this place has, so far, the closest to what I would consider a decent bowl of Taiwanese beef noodle soup I've had in the Boston metro area so far. I'm always on the lookout for it

Service was strange... hot tea came to table right away and was watered down and minimal tea flavor. I ordered a sesame chicken lunch special which came with soup egg drop soup, spring roll , white rice. I ordered a side of beef teriyaki . Waitress asked 1 or 2 teriyaki ? I assumed how many teriyaki sticks or small or large options? I said 2. Egg drop soup and spring roll shows up with duck sauce... egg drop soup was very good. Spring roll was excellent and filling was fresh. Then Next 2 orders of beef teriyaki with 4 sticks each show up??? She takes away my duck sauce from my spring roll... and leaves me with no duck sauce for my beef teriyaki? I now ask for duck sauce for teriyaki? She brings out a hot spicy sauce instead of duck sauce ? The sesame chicken was very good but more sweet and sour sauce flavor than sesame ? The beef teriyaki was extremely tough meat and I had to ask for a knife to cut up? No glass of water as I saw other tables getting water? I had to ask for water as tea wasn't doing it for me ? Then another duck sauce shows up I didn't ask for but glad it did arrive and was needed? Teriyaki had great flavor but tough like beef jerky and one order would have been enough to tolerate without the confusion of getting 2 orders and then also charged for two ? I found the service confusing and not a smooth outing? Then both the waitresses disappeared while waiting for the check . I asked for a glass of water at this point. No fortune cookie, pineapple or exit offering with the check? All in all I was confused.. but I would eat again here and assume staff trying ... next time I'll be very clear what 1 vs 2 means. The menu does look many good options and convenience with parking, location and nice dining room. I would have rate 4-5 stars but the teriyaki wasn't tender and too tough to enjoy.
