I don't like leaving bad reviews but I'm going to be honest. My husband and I ordered two milk teas today and here's what went wrong. The drink was spilling as the girl in the drive thru handed it to us because the lid would not stay on. The milk tea was kind of warm and lacked in sweetness. I'm not a fan of super sweet drinks but it could use just a tad more sweetness. I also think better quality cups for the drinks would go a long way. If it wasn't for the napkin, I would have had milk tea spilled all over me during the ride. The reason why the lid wouldn't stay on the cup is because the cup they served my milk tea in was defective on one side. I wish the girl at the drive thru would be more attentive to that. Not to be rude, but it's common sense that if a lid isn't closing properly, the cup should be inspected or changed and not served sloppily to customers. I'm Filipina as well and I was excited to see a drive-thru Filipino spot in Bolingbrook. This is my review based on the experience we had today. I hope this feedback helps you guys in the future.

    Spicy beef bulgogi

Onigiri isn't wrapped with seaweed and doesn't have lots of meat inside. Really is snack size. They are individually wrapped and easy to open. Pork belly and beef bulgogi is really good. Also tried the pandit wrap and it was a handheld wrap of pancit noodles. It is convenient to eat noodles on the go and don't need fork or chopsticks. Was bland to my husband, but was fine for me. Lumpis was really good. We got 4 pieces and wish we had got more, since they are tiny. My favorite was the Spicy Beef bulgogi gimbap. Had more flavor for choosing spicy and veggies were fresh. Didnt know they offer spicy flavor until the cashier had asked.. The roll is not sliced and does unravel. I cut the roll in half and just held it tightly. It is pretty filling. Last of all their pork katsu sandwich. It was ok. It was kind of warm and wasn't that crunchy. So it seemed like it was cooked ahead of time and served when ordered. Everything seems handmade and have the cooked from home taste. Would definitely recommend to try. They have a drive thru and you can place orders online ahead of time.

    Pancit Wrap

40 minute drive was not worth a 40$ for 2 combos ! I got a bulgogi bowl which DID NOT look like bulgogi but more so like school ground beef. Lumpia was basic no flavor. Pancit wrap was literally just a few noodles and did not look appealing. SPAM musubi was extremely oily but flavor was there. Strawberry Boba tea is literally plain milk with pink color to it. The passion fruit boba tea has the tiniest hint of flavor, yet basically you pay for plain milk. The tapioca was not chewy but rather hard. Overall Disappointed.

Will definitely be back here!!! The food was amazing! Super fresh and delicious. Price is definitely fair for what you get, too! Staff was friendly and provided quick service. Restaurant is small but has a few tables if you want to dine in. Everything we had was really good!!! Beef bimbap roll and pork katsu sando were our favorites.

Brown sugar Boba tea 4 the win

Loved the food so much! The pork katsu sando is fire and the tuna pineapple one is just as good. The chicken curry onigiri was my favorite hand held tho. Also their bubble tea is phenomenal!!! Definitely coming back

Food is always fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The chicken curry rice bowl is my go-to.

Went to this joint for the first time tonight for dinner with my partner…read more My son recommended their crispy pata and lumpia Shanghai, so we tried those along with their homemade siomai. My goodness, everything was so good! The crispy pata has an incredibly crispy skin, with soft, tender, and flavorful pork meat inside. We were told by the owner, Ryan, that they slow cook the meat in its own juices for 6 hours prior to deep frying it. The result is nothing short of one of the best interpretations of this favorite Filipino dish. Definitely my favorite! The lumpia is top-notch -- crispy, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. The siomai is garlicky and delicious as well. All of this for just $32. The price is unbelievable considering the quality of food they are serving. Everything was fresh and served hot from the kitchen, unlike the typical Filipino "turo-turo" style restaurant. They also have combo meals for $12.99 all day. I have to try their lechon belly and crispy kare-kare next time. This place is truly a hidden gem! You have to try it, and you will not be disappointed. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. Thanks to the owner, Ryan. I think you have a winner here!

We came here specifically to try the Filipino food because the Chinese food you can get anywhere…read more When looking for this place, look for New Chinese Kitchen otherwise you'll miss it. It's across the street from Arby's in a small strip mall. You'll definitely have to make a U-Turn because getting into the lot is weird. Plenty of parking since it is a shared lot. We decided to do two combo meals plus the aristocrat chicken. When dining in, there are about 4 tables so it can be limited if there is a rush hour. The owner was very pleasant and he explained about the items before we looked at the menu. Lumpia was crispy and tasty. Garlic rice was a little oily but still good. Overall, it's about a 4. I would have given them a 5 but that rock hard crispy kare kare is hard to forget. However, I'll return to try other items. -crispy kare kare with garlic rice and lumpia 3 - I wanted to like this but the crispy kare kare was a huge let down. It was very tough to eat. I've had Filipino food many times and it was never this hard. It's a shame because the peanut sauce with the veggies and eggplant were delicious. -bbq pork belly (liempo) with garlic rice and lumpia 5 - I really liked the BBQ pork belly. Very easy to cut with a spoon. Meat was well seasoned. It is fatty, so it's best to eat it with rice. -aristocrat chicken 5 - highly recommended. Chicken is extremely flavorful even for leftovers. Meat is very moist and juicy. Nice balance of sweet and salty. I should have gotten the 10 pieces.
