Then he sends me down the hall for an x-ray, and when I come back, he asked me me again how I injured it. Whatever, people forget things, I answer him. Then he tells me there's no break, and asks me AGAIN how I injured it. At this point I'm wondering if this man has cognitive or hearing problems. So I explain it AGAIN. He chuckles and says "oh that's right". He sends me home with an $80 brace (that cost $11 online btw), tells me to take some aspirin, and come back in a few weeks. A few weeks later, I'm back in the same room as this idiot and he asks me about the pain, and then asks how I injured it. Again. I'm told to leave and come back in a week, and I do because I'm also an idiot who trusted him credentials. Next time I see him he asks "pain gone?" and I said "yeah but I'd like to prevent it from happening again, what was it?" he said "probably nothing, it's gone now", and walks out of the room. TF? Nothing? I was in such bad pain I couldn't dress myself, and it was nothing? And I paid $100 for that last visit for him to ask one question and then belittle my pain? Avoid this condescending pr1ck at all costs. I've since seen a qualified orthopedist who diagnosed and eliminated my pain.

We were quite sure Medstar wouldn't want me sitting in their waiting room, especially since there was no question of the diagnosis, and we were right. They referred us to their E-visit option. Shortly we received a sign-in text and started the process. It was much like filling out the information form for a visit at the facility. We had a couple of glitches, mostly our fault, but got signed in. Soon a screen popped up telling me that I was "in the waiting room and there were two patients ahead of me." It was nice to sit on my own couch, sipping coffee and cuddling with my puppy while I waited. It wasn't long before Opal signed in and we started our visit. Opal went over my meds and warned me of some interactions to look for when I started the Plaxlovid. Sure enough my blood pressure fluctuated and I had to adjust my bp meds. I was really impressed with the thoroughness of the visit, how pleasant Opal was, and how easy the whole process was.

sometimes their good sometimes their bad. went in around june because i knew that i was coming down…read morewith the flu or covid. both tests came back negative and the doctor then told me it was allergies. i have never had allergies before and asked if i could be prescribed something against the flu because i know my body and know it was coming. the doctor told me to take Claritin a month before my allergy symptoms usually come and sent me on my way. the next day i was so sick i couldn't get out of bed. ended up having covid symptoms d for 6 days. i wish the doctor had just listened to me, i know my body best. went again in august after returning from a europe trip because i had a splinter in my foot for the last 11 days. they took x-rays and checked my foot out and told me nothing was there. i then went to a foot doctor in the area and she took x-rays and found not only wood but also a piece of glass the size of my ring finger nail. turns out the urgent care didn't x-ray my foot correctly. they did correctly diagnose my mom with rsv tho and that doctor was super nice and explained everything well and answered all her questions. i've had good experiences as well such as when i had strep and the flu last year. it's a hit or miss honestly
