Had a fantastic experience with this place. Had to get my brake and power steering fluids flushed and get my front headlights replaced before going on a road trip. They got me in and took me to work after dropping off the car. They also called me during the repair to let me know that my serpentine belt needed replacing and when all was said and done actually SHOWED me the old belt. As someone who isn't as car savvy as others, this meant a lot to me. Really showed that they care about the customer and not to mention very reasonable prices. I recently took my Toyota Tacoma in for a blinker that wasn't working. I had to go to work and when they heard me say I'd get an Uber, to offered to give me a ride instead. Then, because the repair turned out to be very simple, they charged me nothing. All the employees were very friendly, helpful and courteous. read more

I recently bought a 1982 Ford F150 which I knew needed some work so I took it to Richard's, initially just to have the carburetor rebuilt. Ron made me aware of a few other issues with the truck and, as I have used it, a few other issues have come to light as the truck hadn't been driven much in recent years. Ron has spent lots of time diagnosing several of the problems that come with an older vehicle and has carefully repaired or replaced the damaged parts. Reasons for repair are always carefully explained and they often keep the part that was replaced to show me what was wrong with it. I will continue to service my truck here. read more

Richard's auto is amazing. Ron is so helpful and very sweet! He knows what he's doing and is very honest about what needs to be fixed. My car is very old and I bought a new one to replace it, because I didn't want to spend the money to fix the old one. He has gone above and beyond helping me figure out where the old car should go. He's even held my car in his lot for free for 2 weeks now. I'm new to Arizona, and I didn't know where to go or who to call, but Ron and the others at Richard's Auto have been so wonderful. I do not know a thing about cars and they walked me through my service and outlined necessary v unnecessary services and repairs and did all of the work for what I later found out to be a very competitive and reasonable price. This folks are the best!! Let me tell you how I found this gem! Traveling to Scottsdale for family visit, recently had major repairs done on my Subaru. Upon arrival from Salt Lake my wife smelt coolant!! Next day I called my mechanic and they referred me to Tech Net for national referral. They provided two numbers some beemer place that never returned my call and Richard's Auto Clinic. Called Richard's and Lori was friendly and was way helpful, got an address and directions. Headed over, got us in rapidly. While we waited we're provided drinks and a comfortable waiting room. Their customer service is top notch!!! Lori took time to help me figure out a different auto related issue!! Very kind and thoughtful. All said and done two loose hose clamps! Thank God! Invited us to friend them on Facebook and also asked we let them know when we make it home! On top of that she let me know that if anything else happened to get the car back and they would get on it first thing Monday. Let's hope that doesn't happen but having piece of mind that there are kind and thoughtful mechanics out there is outstanding! Richards Auto Clinic was great! I dropped my Jeep off that had been having issues for several months. Previously another mechanic had said that he couldn't figure out why my check engine light was on and that it was something I would just have to live with. My car was at Richards for only 2 days before he called with great news. He fixed all the issues that I was having in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. I went to Richards Auto Clinic to have them take a look at a car I was considering buying. They charged $100 to make a list of some of the problems, but were unable to identify where or how many leaks oil leaks the car had, or why the check engine light was on. For an extra 60 dollars on top of the first $100, they'd do a "diagnostic" and look for why the light was on. I thought I was already hiring them to see how the car was running? Anyhow, they said they didn't know how long the car would work. The car owner and myself parted ways, and he drove off down the road. I was with my friend, who drove in that direction as well. She saw the car broken down on the side of the road two blocks away, and her diagnostic was free! read more

Great experience. I just started taking my car here. I started having difficulty keeping my car running on a Sunday. I took my car into them Monday morning and it was fixed by Monday afternoon. The price was very reasonable. They have a great welcoming committee in the form of their dog Roscoe. I met up with Ron who was very personable and dropped my car off with them. I received a call later that afternoon upon the completion of the repairs. At the time that I was paying for the repairs, Ron went over a few other items that he had identified as needing repaired. While he identified additional items that needed attention, there was no pressure or hyped up sense of urgency to coerce me to making additional appointments with them. However, based on the great service and reasonable prices I did book a follow up appointment with them to fix my serpentine belt as well. The service for this fix was just as good. Ron remembered myself as well as my wife which added a very welcome touch. I feel like a valued customer rather than just a paycheck. I will definitely be continuing to use this shop for my car repairs going forward. read more
