Then the doctor refused to provide services that they had already run through my insurance. The doctor has a big EGO. I am having issues with another tooth and requested him to take a quick look at the 3D scan which I had already paid for. He flatly refused and actually felt insulted! What nerve and what service?!@#%!! Then he got mad that I was pissed and asked me to leave.

Like anyone would do, I scheduled the procedure and anticipated to be in and out with no problem. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Within hours, I experienced inexplicable, excruciating pain which would continue for a week. Said dentist was shockingly uncommunicative and unsupportive, alas, that's a different review. At least, however, that office did take the time to refer me to North Dallas Endodontics. After the shock of the botched crown-replacement, the trauma from the waves of extreme pain pulsing through my head and jaw, but even more so, the feeling of being dropped and dismissed by the dentist- my trust in any doctor was shot. By the time I walked into lovely 10th floor office of North Dallas Endodontics, I was shaking, in quiet tears, and genuinely afraid of what the next moment would bring. Dr. Navid Khalighinejad and his assistant consistently reassured me they were going to help. I had a bit of a mysterious case. He was up-front and honest about what he knew, what he didn't and what my options were. He took his time to problem solve with me which gave me the confidence to ultimately make the choice for a root canal. He walked me through everything he was doing during the procedure, in real time (something I asked for specifically) and despite them doing some real work in my mouth, it seemed gentle and felt painless, and I've had no pain since! My healing has felt nothing short of miraculous. Sure, I understand a root canal is a routine procedure these days, but to receive *genuine care* and attunement when in a state of overwhelm after a week of severe pain... it made all the difference. Dr. Navid showed his humanity, compassion and his evident skill throughout my visit, as well as aftercare. The entire staff consistently exhibited empathy, patience and kindness and helped me rest assured, I was in the right place. I am so grateful this was the office I walked into and received such high-quality care. This experience literally healed my tooth and stopped the pain, but equally as important- they helped heal the psychological trauma of being dropped by the reputable dentist who inadvertently DID do harm but offered no care, not even a conversation, in the aftermath. I wasn't in pain and had not been in pain prior to my visit. It was just time for my annual visit. Unfortunately, after the fillings were done and the numbness wore off, I was in severe pain--it felt like my nerves were exposed. I couldn't eat or drink anything hot, cold, or sweet without sharp pain, and even chewing was unbearable. I called the office right away to explain what was happening, but they told me the soonest appointment was three weeks away because Dr. Mark didn't have any openings for two weeks then he would be out of town on the flowing week which would have made 3 weeks that my mouth had been in pain. I tried waiting the 3 weeks , but the pain was too intense, so I saw I took the up on their offer to see another dentist in the same office. Even after that visit, the issue wasn't resolved. I then made another appointment for 10/15/25 to see if the original doctor Dr. Mark could resolve the issue , I called to say I'd be running just a little late because of traffic , and they canceled my appointment on the spot. I asked if I could not be seen today could I please have a refund, since I'd been dealing with this same issue for months, and the issue still had not been resolved by Dr. Mark nor his colleague. I was refused a refund and the appointment was the young lady still cancelled my appointment . This experience has been extremely disappointing, unprofessional and hands down the worst service I have ever received from a medical provider. I've never been treated with such disregard for my comfort or my time. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision before trusting Dr. Mark or this office with their dental care.

My wife has been treated by Dr. Jaouni on a couple of occasions. She was pleased with the result and approved of my seeing him for my "emergency" issue. My dentist referred me to 2 Endodontists, who also do implants. Both of them recommended an implant. Why do I need to lose my natural tooth and go for an implant with a huge cost? because they wanted to make more money with implants. I know the after-effects and side-effects of the implants, and I wanted to save my natural tooth. Finally, I found Park Endodontic, which does only root canals, no implants.  Dr. Tariq Alsmadi retreated my root canal, cleaned the infected area, and saved my tooth.
