On my late night drive to my mammy's I decided to try this chicken spot. First off, I was impressed with the menu for being a hot chicken spot because they also offered wings with a lot of flavor options. They also have cereal shakes for a cooling sweet treat. I opted for the wings because I found out it was Wings Wednesday. Whether you want bone in or bone out they're $1 each. They also have Tender Tuesday with $2 tenders, and $3 Slider Monday. I ordered 3 flavors of bone in - Cajun, spicy Honey BBQ, and Mango Habanero. Mango is usually my #1 flavors but oh my goodness, those Cajun wings were absolute fire. They were packed with flavor, crispy, and the heat was subtle. I prefer more heat but I didn't care, they were that good. The Mango Habanero and Spicy Honey BBQ were good but the flavors were very similar. They were cooked to perfection, the right about of sauce, and crispy. From what I could tell, the ambiance is casual and similar to most hot chicken spots. The service was great. When I pulled up and ordered the combo the server let me know about the $1 special and the fries would be a side because of the promo. I told her that was even better because I didn't want the fries. She was so helpful and offered amazing service. On a funny note, I've never been to a drive thru where the window is on the left side of the car. Of course, I was by myself so I had to get out of the car to pay and grab my food. I didn't mind but I thought I'd share that. I can't wait to come back and highly suggest you come and try those Cajun wings. My next go to flavor to try will be Spicy Lemon Pepper. read more

Placed an online order for an 18-piece combo. I understand they were busy, but my order was missing all of the ranch and the fries that were supposed to come with the combo. I had to go back inside and ask for them, which meant waiting even longer. The excuse I was given was that "no one orders combos on Wednesdays." We ordered the #5 with the 3-piece tenders, fries, and a 12-piece nugget. We asked if we could make the nuggets a combo and were told no. Then we asked if we could add lemon pepper seasoning to the nuggets and again were told no. However, it could be done for the kids meal? That didn't make any sense to me. We also didn't want the Richie's sauce and asked for barbecue sauce instead, only to be told it was 50 cents extra for each sauce. Charging sauce for nuggets is wild to me! Not everyone wants your house sauce! In the end, every question we asked was met with "no." Similar to the first visit, the food was bland even after asking for extra seasoning. The meals used to arrive hot and fresh, and I never minded the wait because they were so tasty. In addition to this, the oil needs to be cleaned out more often as it made the fries sub-par. This place gets busy on their "Tender Tuesday" or "Wing Wednesday" but honestly if you are aiming to order fries its better to just purchase the combo. The tenders are a decent deal however. I came on a Tuesday for $2 tenders. I Was pleasantly surprised there was a drive-through and no line. Wanted to order lemon pepper flavor, but apparently that doesn't count for the deal. I got the #5 it's a 3 piece with crinkle cut seasoned fries. The chicken tenders are huge! I got the medium heat, it was spicy enough for me. I came her with my wife and kids, my sons like the wings and fries, my little one didn't really like the fries considering that they put a chili powder over his kids meal fries. I would think that if it's a kids meal, they would not put a chili type powder on the fries. The wings were pretty good and the sauces were good too! It would've been better that if the refills were a self serve option rather than having to get up and ask them for a refill, I felt like I was bothering them each time I asked because they were busy. The ketchup bottles were empty and the napkins were so thin you would have to get another one each time you needed to wipe your hand. This spot is right in my neighborhood and it's definitely a favorite for my kids. The krinkled fries are hands down the best; I really think they use Old Bay seasoning on them lol. They're so flavorful and always hit. I've learned the best time to go is during the daytime right after they open. The food just tastes fresher and more on point. All of the wings I've tried have been tasty, but I don't recommend the lemon pepper of any sort. They have two different lemon pepper options, and both were very salty in my opinion. Everything else has been really good though. The mac and cheese wasn't my favorite, but honestly, a lot of restaurants struggle to get mac and cheese right. Ordered a chicken sandwich that comes with a set of fries. Tried out their mango habanero wings with a captain crunch milkshake. Total $33. For starters the milkshake was really great not too sweet just right. Their chicken sandwich could have been better their buns were a bit bland and flat. The medium flavor didn't quite feel medium as well and lacked seasoning as well with the Cole slaw. Fries needed more seasoning as well and were a bit soggy. I guess the texture of the fries is preference but I just prefer crispy fries. Ranch was good. Only recieved one though and I'm not sure if they charge for extra as well as their special sauce but that tasted like thousand island. Wings were very small and barely tasted like mango habanero. Service was amazing. The place has a great theme. Overall I would say it's okay and could improve on seasoning as well with the serving size (wing size, buns, coleslaw, sauce) .
