So I had to come back and give this place a 2nd try to see if they were really in fact that good and they were! This time I got a 3 tender meal (level hot) with all coleslaw and I paid for 2 extra sides of pickles. When I tell you these tenders were juicy, that's exactly what they were, juicy! It had a nice level of heat but next time I'm going Atomic because I was sharing with the business I could actually go spicier but that's all preference and everyone has a different heat tolerance. I loved the coleslaw. It was creamy, crunch, and not too sweet. For me, the pickles tie it all together. You get a little sweet, a little heat, a little savory, a little tangy all in one bite. Oh and not to mention, because those Cajun wings were so bomb, I ordered a 50 piece wing to take home to the family w/ of course Cajun. I'm trying their Spicy Lemon Pepper, and the Mango Habanero (milder than most I've had). This time I dined in and I love the ambiance. I love the art decor all of the walls with the messaging. I love the "Trust in God" over the opening of their kitchen. I enjoyed the music playing in the background but too loud to hear someone talking. Okay- YUM ! Got their secret menu Mac n cheese and chicken on fries - sooooo good. Basically the best of all worlds. I didn't just want Mac, or just chicken, or just fries- give it to me all together! I think they should straight up put it on their menu because it's that good. Since it was my first time, I went with the popular #3 -- sandwich and fries. When in doubt, follow the menu, right? I got in line and there were 4 cars ahead of me. No big deal... until 20 minutes later, I finally got my food. At this point, I wasn't just hungry--I was entering survival mode. I grabbed a few fries while driving home and... SOGGY. Those fries had apparently given up on life before I even got there. Finally arrived home, unwrapped the sandwich, took a bite and... "That's it?" Then we asked if we could add lemon pepper seasoning to the nuggets and again were told no. However, it could be done for the kids meal? That didn't make any sense to me. We also didn't want the Richie's sauce and asked for barbecue sauce instead, only to be told it was 50 cents extra for each sauce. Charging sauce for nuggets is wild to me! Not everyone wants your house sauce! In the end, every question we asked was met with "no." Similar to the first visit, the food was bland even after asking for extra seasoning. What made my experience worth making a review was the cashier at the drive-thru window. Xaiver was pleasant, courteous, and a prime example of how customer service should be. I often visit this place, and it's unfortunate that what began as amazing food has turned into a disappointment. The meals used to arrive hot and fresh, and I never minded the wait because they were so tasty. Placed an online order for an 18-piece combo. I understand they were busy, but my order was missing all of the ranch and the fries that were supposed to come with the combo. I had to go back inside and ask for them, which meant waiting even longer. The excuse I was given was that "no one orders combos on Wednesdays." I would think that if it's a kids meal, they would not put a chili type powder on the fries. The wings were pretty good and the sauces were good too! They're so flavorful and always hit. I've learned the best time to go is during the daytime right after they open. The food just tastes fresher and more on point. All of the wings I've tried have been tasty, but I don't recommend the lemon pepper of any sort. They have two different lemon pepper options, and both were very salty in my opinion. Everything else has been really good though. The mac and cheese wasn't my favorite, but honestly, a lot of restaurants struggle to get mac and cheese right. Ordered a chicken sandwich that comes with a set of fries. Tried out their mango habanero wings with a captain crunch milkshake. Total $33. For starters the milkshake was really great not too sweet just right. Their chicken sandwich could have been better their buns were a bit bland and flat. The medium flavor didn't quite feel medium as well and lacked seasoning as well with the Cole slaw. Fries needed more seasoning as well and were a bit soggy. I guess the texture of the fries is preference but I just prefer crispy fries. Ranch was good. Only recieved one though and I'm not sure if they charge for extra as well as their special sauce but that tasted like thousand island. Wings were very small and barely tasted like mango habanero. Service was amazing. The place has a great theme. Overall I would say it's okay and could improve on seasoning as well with the serving size (wing size, buns, coleslaw, sauce) .
