Easy eats chicken wings with an Asian twist. Went for a weekday lunch, wasn't too busy and was served right away. Ended up ordering their half and half, with sweet & spicy and pepper crispy. Also ordered a baguette bowl. The wings came out after about 10 minutes. Was surprised how crispy the pepper crispy wings are considering it's not fried. Had a nice kick to it and was very juicy. The sweet & spicy was sticky but very tasty as well, more of a sweet flavor and pretty mild heat. The baguette bowl was also pretty good, with some sort of cheesy (not sure if it is cheese though) goodness inside. Was reasonable for the price and would come back!
We came here since it was a good middle ground between LA and OC. Food: 5/5 We didn't have high expectations since we just chose a random place, but the food was really good! We ordered the UFO and the Goonbe half & half combo. The wings were really crispy and the teboki and fish cake flavorful. Service: 5/5 The service was quick and the food came out really quick. After our meal, they brought out a wheel for us to spin and we got 10% off our meal! That was such a cutie gimmick but I appreciate the novelty of it. Ambiance: 5/5 This place had plenty of seating. There was plenty of parking. If I was in the Artesia neighborhood,I'd definitely come back.
Nice clean interior, pretty quiet as there was no music but it was nice for conversation. It seemed like they only had one employee working the front at that time though so it was a little slow but I was catching up with friends so it want a big issue I'm unsure of how I feel just because my brain was so latched onto the texture of typical korean fried chicken and this was far from it since it's oven roasted, but IN GENERAL it was very juicy very good, I loved the skin on the boneless chicken. We got soy garlic and sweet spicy, I recommend the soy garlic it had a mild ginger flavor She started us off with a complimentary side salad which was nice, and the tteokbokki was only decent but a good palate cleanser
PSA PEANUT ALLERGY. the chicken is good however, the Pepper crispy has peanut powder. i had an allergic reaction. there's no allergens online or via pick up order on the menu. i also called this location and the guy said no there's no peanuts in any of the food. but i called the Fullerton location right after and they said yes the pepper crispy has peanuts. she also said it's the same ingredients for both locations. PLEASE alert and educate your staff on the allergen information. Also PLEASE put the ingredients in your menu. Good thing i'm not deathly allergic. But someone is and this could be very detrimental to them. From someone who has a peanut allergy.

I came in on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy, but there were a lot of dirty tables. It seemed like there was only 1 person working the front, which for a Saturday night, I feel that the management should properly staff for. Even though it wasn't super busy, the worker was doing all the orders, prepping, bussing, so we weren't able to receive the best service. However the food was good! I got the UFO, which is 16 wings + tteokbokki. The chicken is always cooked to perfection. The tteokbokki was alright, the rice cakes were a bit hard so I'd assume they were made earlier in the day. I would just suggest the management to properly staff the restaurant seeing the one worker was struggling to juggle all tasks by themselves.
We decided to call in a takeout order to save time since we know the food here usually takes a while. We were told it would be ready in 20 minutes, but when we arrived, not only was it not ready--they hadn't even started on it. Apparently, their kitchen "didn't get the order" because the machine wasn't working. This is actually the third time something similar like this happened, so it seems to be an ongoing problem. They told us it'd be another 15 minutes, but we ended up waiting a full 30 minutes inside before the food was finally ready. As for the food--it was decent. We got the boneless chicken, and the flavor was good: juicy and seasoned well. But the portion size was really small for the price. We also tried the honey crispy shrimp pizza, which honestly wasn't crispy at all. It came out soggy and was pretty underwhelming. Wouldn't order the pizza again. Overall, the service was disappointing, and for the price, the experience just didn't feel worth it. Probably wouldn't come back.
I haven't been in this center in years. I used to come here back in the day for chipotle and coffee bean. Well, I no longer eat chipotle and there's a coffee bean 2 minutes from my house. Fast forward to today, I was craving for some chicken bowl and came across this place. Ordered their volcano chicken bowl and I gotta say it was tasty. I thought the teriyaki style sauce was better then their volcano sauce. (Which tastes like an Asian style creamy thousand island) Why the 4 stars? Well, there were BONES in my chicken bowl. Not kidding but wasn't a major deal breaker. If I was hungrier, it might ve been a problem. The decor inside is cute and minimalistic. By checkout there's a magnet wall from the places they've traveled. Service is super fast. I think the owner went to the back, scooped rice and chicken and topped with sauce and red onions. You'll see a TVs with kdrama across the board inside. I do think these non fried chicken is worth trying but I also wished it came with more vegetables or a side.
I attempted to order their Galbi Chicken Lunch box special, but they apparently ran out. Pretty disappointed that they ran out considering they are a new restaurant. Instead, they gave me a Volcano chicken bowl. Lessons learned from the experience, get the sauce on the side as they drown the bowl with the sauce that I wasn't really a fan of. Despite this experience, I'd like to try their other menu items, but ensuring that I ask for any sauces on the side.

The young guy was not rude in any way, he just wasn't very talkative. The service was quite slow. I don't know their process here, but it did take awhile to get our order. I asked about the pizza if they make their own dough, and the waiter said, it's pre-made. I could tell. The Pizza for the price is not worth it. The shrimp honey drizzled pizza had no description on the menu what's on it, but when the order came it had pineapples. I still ate it, but pineapple is not a usual topping for me. The chicken tasted pretty good, but I think I'll go to my usual Korean fried Chicken place where the sides are plentiful. Worth the try though.

Once upon a time, had to try this unique Yelp find. This Faerie Queen met her friend her for dinner. She shared it was a place shown in one of her favorite K-dramas. We order the spicy chicken bowl and chicken wings. Very minimalist. Unfortunately for me, it is not my favorite aesthetic. It took a long time for the wings, so only one of us could eat at a time. The food, I'm happy to share, was delicious. Really good. There was a lot of food for the price, too, which was appreciated. The end.
The first time we were here we got the original wings and soy garlic wings. I'm not much of a sauce person but found both really good! Anyway, this is our second time here and ordered the boneless chicken. I don't feel like getting my fingers dirty. I was expecting some battered tenders but no it's like big chunks of tender chicken. Whoa! There's no photos on the menu so we were surprised. We got original and it was good, but I think a sauce might be even better (the spicy dipping sauce they give is great but I can't handle spicy anymore haha). Also ordered the bread with cream cheese in it (forgot the name). It's... very Korean. Buttery, sweet and a little tangy. I liked it and didn't like it. I'm a simple lady, I don't like complex flavors (sweet and savory) lol. Comes with a little radish side dish and the server was very attentive. It was an empty Wednesday night and I feel bad all the cars are for 7leaves. This place is worth a try if you want somewhere quiet! I find similar competitors open at 10pm too noisy for my liking.
Korean chicken is best known for them to be fried, but Goobne Chicken brought in a whole new concept of Korean oven-roasted chicken. Game-changer and such a healthier alternative! I've only ordered here through delivery apps so can't say much about service, but the packaging has always been great and secured. I've tried their Pepper Crispy wings, Sweet & Spicy wings, and Galbi boneless chicken. They were all very good, but I have a slight preference for the Galbi boneless chicken because I love how it tastes like I'm eating Galbi beef ribs, but in actuality I'm eating chicken. I'm getting the best of both worlds in one bite! I've been wanting to try their Rose Tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) and pizzas. So next time, I'll be ordering those! read more
Filling my back-log of reviews. Was my first time trying KRC Korean Roasted Chimkin. Gotta say not a fan. It felt a bit lack lustered, id rather be a little more unhealthy and get fried chimkin. Place is right in the corner of Norwalk & Artesia, where one of the faded hot chicken spots used to be. Resto was clean, the manager or owner was super nice and helpful. I give this place a rating of "Meh", left me with not necessarily trying it again, just a one timer for me. read more

Rating 3.7/5 Had the half and half combo, soy garlic and pepper crispy. The chicken gives a good crunch for oven roasted chicken! Really surprising and not too heavy. The flavors were a bit off to me, the pepper crispy flavor felt like a bell pepper flavor and the soy garlics flavor was just okay. There was enough food for 2-4 people for the combo! Service was ehhh, we had to go up after trying to wave someone over to order, pay, and had to go up to also get gloves to eat the wings as well. Otherwise, area seemed clean and was empty when we went around 12 :15PM. read more

They were busy and understaffed so I understand why the service was slow but they were still very friendly and helpful when we called them over. The food was delicious but the portion were small and the rosé tteokbokki was just fish and rice cakes. The wings were well cooked, seasoned, and the spicy sauce was so good. The atmosphere was relaxed, chill, they had a small hoop and ball for you to play with & it kept us entertained when people tried to make the shot. Overall it was a nice experience and I would want to go back to try the rice bowl. read more

Food was amazing here! They gave you a starter salad and it had such good dressing. We had a soju and the baguette bowl for appetizers. The sweet garlic bread was so soft and yummy would definitely come back for this bread. The wings and pizza were so saucy but so bombbb. Definitely think they have better quality food here than pa dak. They also had a game where you can win free chicken! Great first impression! read more
K Drama Fans! This is the restaurant that is featured in Business Proposal on Netflix! Can you believe it! It's an actual restaurant! Goobne Chicken is the latest Korean Chicken restaurant that doesn't deep fry but powerfully oven roasts their chicken and even their waffle fries for healthier option. I know what you are thinking, how is the taste and texture? AMAZING! I love the glazes to all of their chicken sauce options from spicy to sweet to cheesy. The texture is nicely coated and juicy on the inside. First time there and out with friends or family? Order everything UFO! I am NOT JOKING! UFO CHICKEN: Comes with 16 Chicken Wings, pick 2 flavors and with zingy spicy Topokki in the center. UFO Fried Rice: Kimchi or Galbi Sauce Fried Rice on a sizzling hot plate where the egg is cooked table side. Such a fun thing to order. I can't believe their waffle fries are oven baked and so crispy!!! During lunch time they have an amazing $10.99 lunch bowl special that I need to check out next time. Service is great and love how spacious the restaurant is . Worth checking out. read more
My friends and I did a pick-up order of the boneless honey butter chicken and pepper crispy wings. They were both so delicious! The honey butter chicken had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was so juicy, the pepper wings were also delicious! The sauce it comes with made it even better! They were also cooked perfectly. Our order was ready pretty quickly (approximately 10 minutes from ordering) and was super easy to pick up. I'll definitely be eating here again! read more

Placed a pickup order on the phone. They said 20 minutes but I ended up waiting 30 more minutes at the store. Super slow service. Chicken wings were ok. Liked the dipping sauce But the pizza was horrible!! Worst pizza ever. Not only was it not crispy but it was also uncooked that the cheese wasn't even melted. The worst part was the whole pizza reeks of old, stale flour. We were extremely disappointed for the quality and the price for the pizza 26$ read more

When it comes to chicken, Goobne is always my go-to choice. It feels much cleaner than fried chicken, so I can actually enjoy it without feeling too guilty. The flavors are great, it's not greasy, and I never feel heavy afterward. Hands down my favorite chicken place! And also the service was good. She offer is Free game and we got the $10 off read more
One of the best Korean wings I've ever had. Super different from other places since it's rotisserie. Not too oily but it was still crispy and the meat was super tender. 100% will go back. The staff was friendly and service took about 20 mins for them to bake it. Love the food, the place, and the service. A must taste! CRISPY AND JUICY AND HOT chicken!!! also it's healthier because it's oven roasted :D Idk what the dressing is on the free salad but it's so fire. My boyfriend and I are three bowls of it hahaha. The interior is spacious and clean and the woman working there was very nice and sweet!! read more

I ordered the volcano chicken rice bowl and pepper crispy chicken. The volcano chicken bowl was tasty; flavorful with generous portions! I only wish it were a little warmer. The sauce is delicious, but it definitely packs a punch! The spice is no joke, and I like spicy. The rice bowl came out fast, but the chicken did take some time. The employee did tell me to expect a 15 minute wait, and the head's up was appreciated. They did offer me the side salad, and that was tasty! It also really helped cut through the spice. The chicken was decent but not amazing. I was impressed by how tender and juicy it was, but the skin was harder than fried versions. Given the choice, I probably prefer fried chicken. I do like that this is a healthier option, and I would definitely come back for the volcano bowl. read more
What a waste of time. Yelp says they close at 9:30 PM. So we arrived a little before nine to order takeout. We were sent away because they were closed. I double checked the yelp and it says they close at 9:30 PM. So I asked the girl that sent us away and she said no our website should have the updated hours. So I checked the website updated hours and they're actually supposed to be open till 10:30 PM. This is not good customer service and is a complete waste of time. Came back for dinner with family. Got to try galbi, soy garlic and pepper crispy flavor. Pepper crispy flavor was my favorite. We also tried the Garlic Soy pizza which was suprisingly good. Chicken is baked, not fried. Server is friendly, with a greeting as you enter. Seating area basic but clean. Calm atmosphere with eclectic clientele. Ordered online 2xs, wasn't ready when stated, but worth the extra wait for hot freshly cooked food. read more

Great flavors and cooked well! Decent portion sizes for the price as well. Interior is fairly large, clean, and has music playing. Recommend ordering 30 minutes ahead of time if you're taking it out though. read more

First time going here. Had the soy garlic chicken and honey butter fries, and my family tried to split the Galbi pizza. Definitely loved the soy garlic wings. Didn't realize it was a LOT of food. If you get the pizza, definitely come hungry! read more

This place was so good! We got two orders of the bone in chicken and ate it there. We came for lunch and while it was empty we didn't mind as it was more quiet. The place itself is super clean and spacious. I loved that they offered us gloves and the server was very attentive. I would say the price is reasonable as well. read more

For oven roasted chicken, this establishment was pretty good! Lots of different flavors to choose from but my favorite was the honey butter one. I would highly recommend trying this place. Pretty impressive how juicy and crispy oven baked wings can be! My personal favorite was the Pepper Crispy wings, it has a nice green chili/jalapeño taste that is mildly spicy with a very satisfying crunch. The original wings are more similar to a traditionally baked wing, still very juicy with a nice crust, just not as crispy as the other. The honey butter fries were quite fun, though the sweetness does get a little cloying near the end for my preference. Is this as good as fried chicken? Depends on what you're looking for. If you want crispy flavorful and juicy chicken, this hits the spot. But if you really want the CRUNCHY oily fried taste, this is not quite that. I do enjoy not feeling weighed down after eating them, and less guilt with the promise of baked wings. Parking lot is pretty small, sharing the 7leaves plaza, but I was able to find parking on a Saturday night. I'll be back to try the other flavors! read more
