    Food was good.

Hard Pass. The valet people did a good job The chairs were absolutely terrible to sit in... I felt like I was being tortured as I waited for my water, beer, and then finally, my overpriced food. The staff seemed overworked, and the TVs and music were way too loud. They have security- should that make me feel safe or concerned?!? Maybe I'll come back - but wow- expensive.

I came here for Mother's Day Brunch. It was nice nothing special. The food was good. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. They have some interesting food items for Brunch. The coffee was unpleasant. They really need a better vendor. It really was terrible and they didn't have raw sugar. Lastly, The only thing that drives me up a wall is cloth seating. Why do you have cloth seating? It's gross! Get rid of it..

The food is adequate, and the atmosphere is pleasant. A good location for families as well as a fun nightlife spot for the later evenings.

If you haven't been to Richmond Republic please know you must get the pretzel. If you don't you will forever miss out on the soft warm deliciousness that this pretzel brings to your soul. I came here all the time with my friends for drinks. Whenever we go there's normally a band or dj playing so it's fun to go dancing after dinner.

I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner while my car was being serviced next door. I heard about this place so I wanted to give it a shot. They have a pretty good lunch special Menu for 10.95. I wanted to try a few things so I went ahead and did the soup and salad. The Lobster bisque was okay, I was hoping their were chunks of lobster but it was bits and shreds. I had the salt and pepper calamari which was really good. For entree I went with the scallops and asparagus with purée cauliflower. It was really tasty and the scallops were a nice size. I wish the purée was a bit thicker but it was good. I enjoyed my meal in a nice quiet setting. However they were setting up for their Friday dinner crowd. Staten Island has a really great array of restaurants and Richmond Republic adds to that list. I would go back and try more!

Came here on a Friday night with my girls, had a 7:15pm reservation & we were seated right away. Right when you walk in the atmosphere is complete party vibes from the lighting, decorations, music, tv's. Definitely makes for a great night out! We sat in a comfy booth and the menu's (both drink & food) had huge selections! We ordered Twisted Teas, Red Sangria, Pina Colada Sangria and Empress Lemonades for our drinks (the Empress Lemonade is the pretty purple glittery drink!) As for our food we ordered Buffalo Chicken Salads (No Blue Cheese/Blue Cheese Dressing, replace it with Creamy Balsamic and thank me later!!!), Tacos, a Burger, Fried Pickles, Potato Skins, Calamari & the huge Pretzel, and let me tell you everything was incredible! For the price you pay you definitely get your money's worth (prices are super reasonable as well), if you are looking for a fun night out this is your place! Tip: They do charge a 4% fee if you don't pay full cash so make sure to make a stop at the ATM beforehand!!

Does RR offer a Fantasy draft football package?

This place is actually a steak house/ restaurant. So not sure where you found out about that. Only thing I can think of is call the place and ask for the bartender as he may handle such things on the side. Hope this helps .

We took a shot and just showed up, which wasn't the smartest thing to do especially on a Saturday night. When we got there, most of the tables were taken, and the other tables were reserved. At first, the owner offered us to sit at the counter, but then was kind enough to seat us at a small table for two. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but we settled on a prosciutto and Burratta appetizer, and spaghetti alla Nerano and spaghetti carbonara for our main courses. We started off with delicious bread brought to the table, and things just kept getting better from there! The food was fresh and delicious with Italian music playing in the background. The restaurant is family run, and they treat you like you're coming to their house for dinner. I have to say I truly felt for a good hour and a half, that I was back visiting Italy. There were so many other items on the menu we would've loved to have tried, so we definitely will be back, but next time we will make sure we have a reservation because we would hate to miss out on another delicious meal!

The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and you can tell it's a neighborhood favorite since so many guests seemed to be regulars who all knew each other. One of my favorite things is that it's BYOB, which makes the experience even better. Parking isn't the easiest, but it's absolutely worth the short walk. The space is small, so it's perfect for an intimate dinner or a group of about 10 people (probably not much more), but the food and atmosphere make it an absolute gem! Thanks Ami for your great service....

It's about a warm inviting encompassing feel along with cold cheap drinks. This place has all bases covered and then some, right here in Staten Island. $3 drafts as cold as an arctic breeze and $3 basic shots, hello. 4 flat screens to catch your favorite game or horse race. Long shuffle board. Juke box always banging. Friendly environment, in fact upon my first visit I was offered 4 free Yankee tickets, I gladly accepted. No need for quiche or caviar here plus they don't serve food lol, but guess what you're aloud to bring food in and there's several places within walking distance. Definitely predominately an older dude hangout, but all are clearly welcome. Next to the a train station and within some what close proximity to the Outer bridge. 14 or 15 seats at the bar. Fairly small, but nicely cozy. Yep this guy is a big fan and expect to see my checks in from time to time.

We looked for a spot. it's extremely hard to find parking in this area.. there is a small lot but seems like it gets filled quickly. We didn't have reservations but it was rather early and didn't think it would be hard to get a table. We walked in and a cute older man was energetically running around waiting tables and making drinks. I think he was the owner. He was funny and super nice. He seated us. There was two super large parties in the restaurant. They were loud and tbh obnoxious! We looked at the menu and we settled on some light options. Fried calamari 19 , a salad( Pera ) Bibb lettuce with Gorgonzola, candied walnuts , poached pears in a balsamic glaze 18 we added salmon and a meatball pie 21. Tiramisu So let me break it down for you. We had hot bread with a beautifully seasoned tomato sauce. It was really amazing! It really set the tone for the meal. The fried calamari was really good. Crunchy, fresh and not dripping in oil. Lightly seasoned and the sauce was perfect with the calamari. The only thing the portion was small for the price! The pizza came out and again this pizza was like a personal pizza again the price is off . I wasn't impressed with the cheese they used. It didn't seem like fresh mozzarella. First impression there was way too much sauce the crust was like a wafer. Super thin! I wasn't impressed. I took a bite and the sauce tasted raw ! Like not cooked. Had an unpleasant taste. I actually got a little nauseated. Moving on we order the Pera salad and wanted to top it with salmon. We expected a full salad and salmon right on top. It might have been our fault for not asking the price for the salmon but that's what we wanted. Anyway our salad comes and literally it's a side salad with a 3 or 4 oz portion of salmon. Super small. We couldn't believe it. We were still hungry so we order a tiramisu. It was light, fresh and just a simple dessert. This place is by far not a date place. It's loud and somewhat chaotic. You def can tell the owner is busting his ass. It's really unfortunate The food is not consistent with taste, flavor and consistency . Which is a shame. The price point of the food is way too expensive for a place on Staten Island! Speaking of price we get the bill and the price for two side salads and a small piece of salmon each 80 F'ING DOLLARS!! The guy literally ripped us off ! We pay the bill as we both shake our heads and walk out and the owner goes " hey make sure you tell 5 friends to come visit" yea sure and get ripped I would have loved to say! Patrons be aware!

Between the atmosphere, the charm, the creativity, and the overall experience- I would vote this the best dive bar in NYC (I think Guy Fieri would agree). The energy, the staff, the food, the drinks and the live band, was fuggetabouit I checked out their website and then experiencing it in person, I can confidently say... The Rock House is a VIBE for sure! So the space is on the smaller side, but all part of that neighborhood vibe. It's like Rock Glam meets neighborhood bar in like a Cheers type setting what I'm sure there are regulars. For a night out with 10 people- we locked down the bathroom corner and I actually enjoyed being able to sit close with my friends. Felt like we had best seats in the house but when you look around... everyone kind of has the best seats since the bar is central to the entire perimeter. As a nurse, I've only ever been out that way for Northwell on Seguine, so I had no idea there was even a spot like this tucked at the end. Hidden gem for sure. And don't let the word "bar" fool you okay this place delivers on food Big ups to "Rocker Jen," the owner, who was hanging out like one of the patrons, she not only served up looks, but jumped in to make her signature Bloody Mary.
