Summer Tradition is over Unfortunately new owners changed their meat supplier and fries. Shakes were not thick. I'm guessing less ice cream So bummed out that things were switched up so quickly Food was edible but nothing special. Not the small town gem anymore. read more

Since Marcia left the business has gone down I was rushed through my order and to have to wait 30 mins when there was 2 cars ahead of me and when I ordered 2 hamburgers I then had wait another 20 mins before food arrived. Cook touched dog treat with glove and proceeded to cook with no change of gloves. And since when do you order at the window for walk ups seems dangerous to me??!!! read more

As frequent travelers we strive to visit local eateries and businesses. This burger joint looked to fit the bill and was walking distance from our Air BB. We ordered at the window and suffice to say it was a struggle. Apparently the business has changed hands recently from the long time family owners and we actually met one of the grandsons of the original owners while there. Well I don't know how it was before but the entire experience and food quality was less than dismal. We asked for a side of chili with cheese for a corn dog and you would have thought we asked them for a 7 course meal. It took 4 people to try and get it ordered into the POS system (apparently a new thing for this place with new owners). What we got looked like someone shat on our food and tossed on the utensils for good measure. The pics shows exactly how we received our food. when we asked again for chili in a cup it honestly threw every worker for a loop. The royal deluxe burger was small and covered in ketchup and looked unappetizing and over cooked. For $15 i would expect something more than this. We got a few overcooked onion rings and soggy fries with it. The corn dogs were fried to death. It took over an hour to receive this "meal" and after looking at what we got we decided a refund was the better option. Unfortunately the business couldn't handle the POS system for that either and refunded in cash. There were cars backed up and I think the public is duped into thinking that they are still visiting the family institution that Richwines used to be. Side note on that however- I did mention to a worker that I heard they had new owners and that maybe that's why it wasn't great and I was told that nothing has changed. read more

We used to love going to Richwine's. It was a Polson icon. Went today for the first time in quite a few years, and it was not good. The Royal Deluxe Cheese Burger had ketchup on it that tasted like sugar. They've eliminated the cute toothpick with fresh veggies stuck on top that made them unique. The Huckleberry Lemonade tasted metallic. Sorry folks... you lost me. read more

Parking/drive through was a mess but we figured it was just because they were really good and always busy so we went anyway. Burgers just didn't taste good and the fries weren't good either. Seems like a local favorite and just survives off that history. Maybe we just caught it on an off day but was just genuinely not good. probably wont go again, plenty of other good places in polson. read more

My father is from Montana and my cousins still reside there...and I reside in Sacramento, California. Whenever I am in Polson, I always make it a point to stop by Richwine's Burgerville to pickup burgers, fries and that a huckleberry milkshake for myself and the family as a treat! It was a little hard to know where to order as we had parked in the back and there was not really a walk up window to place to order. You just stand on the grass and somebody comes out to take your order. Service was pleasant. Hamburgers were good. French fries were good. This was our third time to Polson and after driving by Burgerville many times we decided we had to get in line and see what the hype was all about. The food was worth the wait we just wished we didn't have to wait in the car. Next time we will pull through and park and take advantage of the walk up window and the cute picnic are in the back. These folks are essentially taking advantage of a captive Polson population, with few other local dining options, but suffice to say, we won't be bothered to stop there again. Their food is average at-best, and good luck determining when they're actually open!! One minute, they're open till 9pm. Ten minutes later, it'll be 7pm. Fall, winter, spring, it flies all over the place, based upon their own convenience and wishes. And don't look to their website to be accurate either, or bother calling them to ask their hours, because whatever you learn won't be accurate. Running such a place is hardly complicated, but in a nutshell, the management" of the place, and Marsha (the manager), are a living nightmare. read more

Delicious food. I was here with a group of 10, and they were organized, fast, affordable, friendly, and delicious! The onion rings are totally killer, and the burgers were great too. Everyone was incredibly friendly and they got every part of our orders right, including some modifications for dietary restrictions. Each time we've driven past this place it's been packed so we decided to see what all the fuss was about. Well it's worth the fuss. Elizabeth was so friendly and patient. She explained what fry sauce was and the different meal options. You drive up place your order, next window you pick up your order, you can either pull forward and park under a shaded parking spot, with a trash can near by so you can dispose of your trash or drive off. Read the reviews on Yelp but originally opted not to stop because we'd already had burgers twice on our vacation. Driving through Polson I mentioned this apparent local favorite and instantly was overwhelmed with requests to stop for lunch. So stop we did. Best. Decision. Ever. If you are allergic to dairy take note: You can get a hamburger here without fear. No dairy products in the buns at all. (None in the gluten-free either) Much rejoicing in the car over this. Burger meat is ground on site, burgers are prepped and cooked when you order. The burger is soooooo delicious as a result. And they staple your napkin to the burger bag so you can't lose it. Genius! The fries....oh goodness, the fries. They are beer battered and then lightly dusted with salt. (By the way dairy-allergic ones, you can have these too, but not if you're gluten-intolerant.) The fry sauce was super-special - better than any we've ever had. This burger stand has been owned and operated by the Richwine family for 55 years (as of 2017). It was around before that with a different owner. I'd say there's a good reason they've been in business so long. Richwine Burgerville is truly a hidden gem by every definition and worthy of a road trip just to have one. Take our advice and order the Deluxe burger, which is a cheeseburger with fries. So I finally went to try this place since there is always a line. You have to sit in your car wait wait wait in line before you get up to the the speaker to there cars deep. I got the royal burger fries small diet coke$10. It's better than McDonalds but not special. The burger at Butchers Nook in Plains is 1/3 lb fresh made patty and you have to squish it down to eat it for $8.50 and is so much better. It took half hour in line to get. I saw they had awhile cones so today was in Polson and decided to try. Well I went to the door , it was locked. There is a sign that sometimes they can do walk up. I was not a out to wait a half hour in my car to get a cone. I suggest maybe you have a window just for ice cream cones or shakes??? I won't ever go back read more

I told the boss lady their burgers are better than IN & OUT! This is a family owned place for over 40 years. (I swear she said 53 years, but I can't be exactly sure). They grind their own meat for these tasty burgers. The entire place and grounds are meticulously cared for. They are open seasonally. So glad we turned around to go back here while passing through Polson on our drive around the Flathead Lake. There was so much on the menu here it was difficult to choose!
