I have been going to Sullivan Tire Co. for as long as I can remember. I started going to the…read moreBedford location when I was just a kid with my first car. They put a brand new set of tires on for me at a very fair price and really took care of me well. When I moved to Billerica I began going to the Sullivan Tire down the street from my house on Boston Road. Same deal, always feels like they actually care about your vehicles. I also bring my company trucks (pickups and light dump trucks) to them and they always pull through for me whether it's something small or a major issue that requires immediate attention. I've never once felt taken advantage of and usually I end up getting a great deal with unbeatable service. If the Billerica location can't work on a larger issue they have a commercial location in North Reading that does larger tires and wheels and can basically do everything involving wheels, tires, and balancing on the spot or with a quick turn around time. Billerica is my favorite location. They are the most knowledgable and even have a transmission specialist that comes within 24 hours of drop off. Billerica Sullivan Tire has pulled through for me in even the toughest situations - last winter for example. 2 of my trucks in the midst of the major back to back to back blizzards were having transmission problems and I thought for sure I was going to be spending around $10k for 2 re-manned transmissions. Both trucks 1-2 days later were up and running for under $1500 without having to replace the transmissions! I love these guys and I won't go to any other mechanic when I can't do the repairs on my own. Thank you to Sterling, Brian, and their crew for always keeping us going when it matters the most!

I brought the wheel over a few hours later and they said "let's go look at it". After a quick inspection he took the wheel and said I'll be right back. 5 mins later I had the wheel back with a new high pressure stem and he says "you're good to go!" No charge! AMAZING!!! I was in and out in 15 mins. Thank you so much Sullivan Tire!!

He personally helped me with my choice of replacement rims for my SUV from start to finish. The end result totally transformed the look of my vehicle. AJ is, without a doubt, a very friendly and knowledgeable young man well-deserving of his recent promotion at this location.

Then they came back and claimed I needed to replaced all 4 stating that the light would still be on which is completely false provided they actually relearn the monitors as you normally would. That was an extra $150 for nothing. Reluctant to do this but I had been waiting over 3 hrs and just said do it. I got the original monitors back and had no issues relearning the monitors while sitting in my drive way with no special tools., So now I have 3 spares. Additionally if you need any mechanical work ie ball joint, tie rod ends they will not do it and they will just send you to another garage only to have you come back. I found this out the hard way when they called na said my car was all set only to get there to have them tell me that they did the alignment but with bad tie rod end and to have it replaced and then come back. Why even waste my and their tiem doing a alignment on something if you cant even complete the job. Lastly if you need the winter tire change over they will not do it if you bring in a new tire but have no problem installing a dry rotted tire from a junk yard as part of the winter tire change over. make no sense from a liability standpoint.

If you're one of those people who obsesses about having the correct air pressure in their tires,…read morelook no further. Sal's is the ne plus ultra of gas station air hoses. I've met people from as far away as Brookline who make the trip to Billerica once a month just to use this magnificent air hose. It's not unusual to see a line of cars patiently waiting their turn for it. At most gas stations, the air hose is an afterthought. Often you have to hunt around for a greasy, tangled mess thrown negligently against the wall out back. Some places have the audacity to charge you 75 cents or even $1 for two short minutes of their precious air. Not so at Sal's. Its air hose is a clean, neatly coiled affair that's proudly located right up in front of the office. The chrome paddle trigger of the Amflo AMF150 Tire Inflator is smooth as silk, and the solid brass bar on its built-in air gauge calibrates in 2 PSI increments, allowing you to fill your tires with a precision you'd never dreamed possible. Want 32 pounds in the front and 34 pounds in the rear? No problem, Sal's air hose can do it in style, and do it for free. (Be sure to get there during business hours: Sal's disconnects the hose when closing as a theft prevention measure.)
