Several months ago, I went to Sullivan Tire to see if they would repair my slow leak in one tire. They looked at it and distinctly said it would not be repairable. They couldn't care less. They just wanted to sell a tire. Just last week suffered blow out tire. The assistant manager would sell the tire but he wouldn't reinstall the " donut". So I was forced to find another shop to help me out to reinstall the previously purchased tire from repair shop. Great service guys. BAD SERVICE! DONT TRUST! BAD TIRE INSTALLATION: 1. Installed 4 tires. Within a week, 1 of the tires started to LEAK. Checked at other 2 body shops, and both confirmed that it was because Sullivan guys didn't do the job correctly!!!! I don't trust them anymore. I would rather fix my tire at other body shops. 2. 1 wheel MISSED VALVE CAP, the other 3 valve caps are LOOSE! SCAM PRICING: 1. When I booked the appointment, they quoted the price to about $1050. I confirmed at least 3 times, no additional costs, and I wrote it down. 2. Then after the service, they charged me $1200, added some services they never told me before. 3. I paid at the end, but ! ! ! dont trust their quote over the phone. read more

Brian, at Sullivan Tire has taken care of my car for almost 10 years!!! I have never had better service anywhere. They are trustworthy, professional, and less expensive than the dealer. In the past week, I have had to go to Sullivan Tire twice. My low tire light came on. I drove to Sullivan Tire. They took care of me immediately. They sent me around to the side door and a very nice gentleman added air and explained the lost of air happens sometimes as the air gets cold. No charge, less than 10 minutes, and I was back on the road!!! 5 star service if you ask me!! Today I smelled gas in my garage and Sean said they would do their best to look at it as soon as they could. About 3 hours later Brian, the manager called. (I couldn't believe it!) He said they had not found a leak and explained they had run tests even pulled out the seats. He suggested another gas powered tool might be the problem. I am putting my lawnmower out of the garage tomorrow to check and see if that is the issue. No charge again!!! My strong recommendation.... Use Sullivan Tire for all your car needs. IRRESPONSIBLE and DISRESPECTFUL attitude. Technician is called ''CHRIS''. While changing tires, he also touched other part of the vehicle. He should informed the owner first. As a result, he broke the part and caused troubles to the customer. Most importantly, he refused to fix the trouble he made. His attitude is very disrespectful too. If any of my friends look for a tire store, I will never suggest this store. Customer should not deserve this kind of poor quality service. Every vehicle has problems, more or less. I don't think every time car owner would state everything before going to the tire store or repair store, especially it's not the part to be changed or repaired. The point here is that of course you could drive in and out but you don't have to adjust the seat angle. If you adjusted the seat angle and it caused the problem, you want to reset it to its original place later ''AT NO COST''. Seat angle has nothing to do with changing tires, only because this technician touched it. Customer is not responsible for this extra cost. Oh btw, he tried to lie that he did not touch anything. I guess this shows the attitude how the Sullivan tire will respond to other customers who may have similar situation. ''DON'T CARE'' and "LIE to CUSTOMER". read more

I've been to places where the technicians would recommend tire replacement...seeing this is an AWD vehicle, all 4 tires would need to be replaced. Their honest made me a customer. Just wanted to rave about Sullivan Tire in Bedford. The kids and I were all loaded up and headed out for the day when we walked out to a completely flat tire with a screw in it. I consulted the spouse's page At Hanscom AFB and got to Sullivan on our spare, fully prepared to buy a couple tires. Brian at the front desk was friendly and accommodating, and gave my kids paper, crayons, and a coloring book. I used the Keurig as we sat for about 90 minutes, and free wi-fi kept us all sane. They were able to plug up the tire, and we all left in good moods! We will definitely be going back there when it's time for new tires. read more

UPDATE after receiving comment from S Tire I talked and talked with S Tire reps including sending snail mail several times. I had an appointment for 3 pm to replace two front tires. At 3:30 my vehicle was still outside. After raising concerns with the manager and explaining that I have another appointment at 5 he assured me that my car is getting next any moment. At 4 pm my truck was still sitting outside and I was forced to leave the shop without tires. Total waste of time. No apologies whatsoever from anyone from the staff. Very unprofessional!!! read more

Have used Sullivan tire for years. Always give great service and reasonable pricing. While in for an oil change and tire rotation on our Audi sedan, they noticed recent tire damage and the need for new tires (I had kept pushing it off). The new tires arrived the next day. On 1/17/19 I made an oil change appoint for 9am 1/19/19. When I took the car in on the 19th I was told it would take about 1hr. I asked if I could use the complimentary shuttle to get a ride home and was told it was in Arlington. Previously when I'd used the shuttle i was told repeatedly that its only offered in a 5 mile radius. I was confused why they would send the shuttle to Arlington which was significantly further than that. The person at the desk very rudely responded with "We decided to help out an 80yr old woman is that ok?" Since this employee decided to violate the company policy I was denied the shuttle that they said would be available. Instead I called my father to come pick me up and told him that I'll be back in 1hr to get the car. I called 2hrs later to ask about they car, and he said they still hadnt taken it in. 4hrs later I called because I needed to go somewhere that evening and again he said they still hadnt taken the car inside and that the shuttle was still not available. At this point they've had the car for 5hrs and havent even started. I did not expect it to take this long given that I went through the Sullivan tire website and made an appointment. I not longer had time to wait for me car So again I had to call my dad to give me a ride to the shop. When I asked for the keys back I was told that they didnt take my car inside because there were people waiting in the shop for their cars. I didnt know that superseded the appointment i made to the tune of 5hrs. Ultimately they never did change the oil in my car and I had to go elsewhere. If this is in fact the Sullivan tire policy I cannot reasonably take my car back there. It just doesnt make any sense when Jiffy lube will change my oil in 15 minutes and they are 2 miles down the street. I wasnt even going to post this review, but they just did the same thing to my wife today with our other car. When she reached at 9:15am this morning she asked how long it would take. At first they said 11:30, to which she said "well then I cant do it now because i have to pickup my daughter from school at 11:30". Then they said they could get it done in 1hr. When she called back at 10:40, they said they just took the car inside and said it would take another 1hr. If the estimates for completion are off by such a large amount, then they are useless. We plan around car maintenance since it means we will be without a car and thats very limiting in Bedford. Its really hard to plan if the shop gives such bad information. read more

The Sullivan tire team was courteous, efficient, got us in early on a Saturday (we had called on Friday) and got the work done well and in time for our son's safe departure. A solid 3.5 stars. We love our Prius. 51 mpg in the city/48 mpg on the highway is a tough value proposition to pass up. Unfortunately the Prius is not exactly a fun car to drive in "wicked hahsh" New England winters. Sadly the Prius' driving performance in winter weather is like watching Billy Dee Williams try to dance the tango on Dancing With The Stars. The Prius desperately needed winter tires and Sullivan delivered. The winter tires were competitively priced and the total service took about two hours. And more importantly, the Prius handled a lot better in the wintry conditions (not surprisingly, the mpg went down). The cost to change back to all-weather tires is $25 per tire, and the Sullivan team inspected and recommend that the Prius have a wheel alignment, which costed another $90. Sullivan does provide a shuttle service if you're local and you don't want to spend two hours reading The Improper Bostonian or watch the old lady sitting across from you knit a sweater... read more

(Update: My wife wanted you all to know that she actually did all the pre-purchase calling to check the availability of the tires and that I am just a lazy bastard who writes reviews and takes all the credit...) I recently had all four of my tires replaced on my Ford Expedition. Sullivan Tire in Bedford was by far the most helpful automotive business I have dealt with in a while. I did some research online to figure out what type of tire I wanted to buy for the Expy, and they weren't widely available. I called a few businesses around the area, big chains and small shops, and most places told me they were backordered and that it would be awhile. However, Sullivan Tire told me they could have the tires there in 48 hours. And to top it off they were about 10% cheaper than the big chains I called. I set up the appointment, and arrived when they opened on a weekday morning. The guy behind the counter knew I was coming and had the paperwork all ready for me. I told him I had some appointments I needed to get to in the early afternoon, and he had no problem putting a bit of a rush on it, so I could get the truck back on time. They also gave me a free ride in to work after I dropped off the vehicle, and they also came to pick me up at work that afternoon. It was very convenient and the old crusty guy that drives the courtesy van was pretty damn funny. And on the way out the door they thanked me for my business which was a nice change. From what I understand, this shop moved from the Burlington location, so they are relatively new in Bedford, but I would definitely recommend them and will go back there for my next set. read more

I had my rear brakes repaired at Sullivan Tire on May 18, and I am glad I did. Fine service, free ride to/from work, and a AAA discount. I drive a 1993 Infiniti G20 with 205,000 miles on it. I started to get a scraping noise in the rear and I knew it was a brake problem. So I took it to Sullivan Tire in Bedford, MA, not far from where I work. First, Sullivan offers a free ride to and from work. This avoids the hassle of asking coworkers for rides or perhaps taking a day off from work. Sometime after lunch, they called with a diagnosis. The right rear caliper was frozen and it needed to be replaced. They also recommended that the left rear caliper be replaced also, even though it didn't really need it. Was this overselling? I'm not sure, but the service manager's explanation was plausible, and replacing the caliper probably saved me another headache down the road. Come 4:00 PM, they called and asked if I needed a ride back to the shop. I did, and the driver picked me up promptly at 5PM. The car was ready at 5:40, working fine. The brake technician explained that the brake pedal would feel a little soft for a day, and he was right. One week later, everything is fine. New rotors and calipers cost me a bit over $700 installed, but I have safety now and peace of mind. Was the price fair? I think so, considering I had a single caliper replaced on another G20 a few years back and it cost me close to $600. They also fixed and adjusted the parking brake for me, something I had planned to do myself anyway. Please note that Sullivan Tire is a AAA-certified repair center, so you get the added assurance that AAA gives you plus a 5% discount. I don't likely costly car repairs, but I was very pleased with Sullivan Tire. They got me back on the road quickly and I will continue to use them. read more
