They have appointments open constantly and 'reservations' are easy to make. In terms of quality, I have been in there twice--once because my 'check engine' light lit up and the other for the 45,000 mile routine maintenance--and the results couldn't have been better. Problems are discovered quickly and solutions are provided even faster. What sets theCARS Company apart from any other car shop I've been to is their customer care. Point in case: recommending a cheap buff-and-polish job for the many bumps and scratches on my car as opposed to an extremely expensive paint job. Need another example? They offer discounts and coupons constantly. They don't hide them from you. In fact, make sure to politely ask if they have any available and they will respond honestly. Believe me, they've got your back and they're looking to protect your wallet. They seem genuinely interested in your best interest and not on making a quick buck. Very professional, well-organized, and reasonable prices: what else could you ask for?

I have to say, I was very happy with this place, particularly the service of the mechanics that work there and their willingness to help me, despite my strange requests. That's the short story. The long story is, I noticed a very unpleasant smell in my car (a few months after I spilled some bean juice in my car, and I thought I had cleaned it up). It seemed to be coming from the back seat, so I went crazy trying to mask/clean it. i used baking soda, whole bottles of Fabreeze, even bleach, still no luck. Finally, I decided I had to look underneath my seat (its a bench seat) to see if there was some kind of bean juice cesspool growing down there. Now, I have no idea how to get this seat up, so I had no choice but to swallow my embarrassment and ask help from someone that would know. I'm sure these guys thought I was crazy, but they were very nice to me all the same, and obliged my request to pull the seat up. They didn't notice it at first, but when they pulled up a cloth sound barrier, it hit them like a wall! They recommended I replace it and even called dodge to see if they had a part for me, but they couldnt find it. I endued up wiping down the underside of the seat and bleaching the sound barrier. Car has smelled fine ever since! So basically, I was just really happy that these guys were willing to help me and didnt give me as many strange looks as I probably deserved. This may have not been a typical car problem, but I could tell by how they treated me and carried themselves that they were professionals.

They people at Pleasant car care were so nice and helpful, they immediately fit me in and got my car looked at and assessed. They found several of the same things as the other shop but they were not charging their extreme prices. They created videos showing what work needed to be done and why, they had loaner cars available for me and even offered to drive me home while they worked on it. I noticed after I got the car the next day that there was a small vibration and they immediately came and got the car from my house, checked it out, and realigned the wheels at no additional cost. When I went there, they took pictures and video of my control arms and brakes and rotors and used scare tactics to tell me that I cannot drive this car as it is a safety issue. I met the owner, i have no idea why I needed to meet him. I had spoken with one of the floor mechanics who showed me a leak from my thermostat. They told me $1300 for brakes, $1700 for control arms, and $1000 for the thermostat... $4000! I drove home (even though they warned me not to), ordered the control arms, rotors, brakes, and thermostat and replaced them all myself. Here are the results: The car has 60,000 miles. The control arms look used like a car with 60k miles should, but they were not anywhere near an imminent failure. Same for the brakes and rotors. The only issue that was important for me was to replace was the thermostat housing... yes, the one that I had taken the initiative to ask the floor mechanic, and the front desk didn't even tell me about! Now, I knew what they were talking about. But I can clearly see how someone who didn't know much about cars would be terrified into hiring them for repairs that really weren't needed. The videos, etc, are all part of the credibility and selling process. Speaking of which, I can tell you that these guys use what's called a "one-call close" sales tactic. Just like at a dealership, these guys know that if a customer walks out the door, 90% of the time, they are not coming back. And, the salespeople are paid on almost 100% commission. That means that if they don't close a sale, they don't eat. They are not interested in a relationship. On top of that, I was promised the car had an automatic starter would be activated through the app once I bought the car -- that turned out to be completely false. The day after I purchased the vehicle, my salesman stopped responding to texts, calls, and emails (still nothing, after months of trying). I received zero communication. I had to physically go back to the dealership just to get anyone to acknowledge the situation. When the car finally went to their mechanic, the experience got worse. The mechanic was at least responsive, but complained about how expensive the repairs were and talked about trying a series of cheap, temporary fixes just to send me home -- even admitting they didn't think those fixes would work. I had the car in and out of the shop for the same problem at least 5 times without a fix. One time when I went in, I found my salesperson and asked why he hadn't responded for months. He said he was busy out having fun and partying because he doesn't have kids and has freedom, so he didn't get to return my call. He told me he would escalate to the owner... this happened twice and I continued to get no response and nothing from the owner For the first six months of ownership, my car was in the shop about half the time. I finally got in touch with the owner on my own and brought up the false promises about features. He just said everything was my fault and I should have known. He eventually offered to add the automatic starter, only if I paid half. Then instead of doing that, he completely stopped responding to my emails, texts, and calls, just like everyone else there Now I'm left with a car that I was unable to drive for months, that I've had to pour more money into after purchase, and had to pay for uber rides back and forth to their shop to get my car for repairs that didn't work. Avoid this dealership at all costs. You're honestly better off buying from Facebook Marketplace than dealing with this level of service.

I asked what that meant? He told me I needed new shocks or struts, pointed to my left front tire and said "something under there". Said I would have heard it when driving over a bumpy road. Show me a Massachusetts road that is not bumpy. I never heard a thing. Then he told me I needed new rear brakes (mentioned by someone else in a Google review), but would NOT note the brakes or mysterious shocks/struts on the inspection report. If this were legit, how would anyone know what to fix??? I told him I would call the dealership to get the pump ordered/replaced, he was very quick to tell me that they could do all of the repairs for much less. No ****ing way would I let him near my car again, I went to the dealer who did the repair, did a thorough inspection (no problems!!!) and then they did the second inspection which I paid another $35 for. Note the inspection report photo where he noted "motor dos (sic) not blow water to the windshield"; the "water" is actually windshield fluid! He was aggravated with me when he told me my car needed "water" and I asked what he was talking about. I filed an online complaint with the RMV, if you have been screwed by these people I urge you to do the same.
