First time here! We got the chicken and waffles and I loved it. Will return to try other menu items.

I went around a month and a half ago and the food was so good. I ordered some of their slow roasted meat and some crispy potato's à la cart because i'm not a fan of eggs and didn't want the meal and it was so freaking good!!! Great amount of food as well. The place was super clean and just all around good vibes. Great service, great food, great place!!! I'm from phx Arizona and was visiting some family friends in vegas who are regulars to chilly jilly'z and they insisted on going here even though it's a bit of a drive and i'm glad we did!!

I've been here 3 times , the 3rd time was a mistake. We were treated with disrespect by management. I've never been disrespected in Boulder City at any of the restaurants. I am a local. We didn't even know this place existed. Now the other 2 times we had a pleasant experience when the owner was there. The older woman who said she was management was rude and disrespectful. I brought my friends to enjoy this food. The French Toast was made we guess on accident with vegetables. French Toast is not made with onions, bell peppers, red peppers. Our friend tried to hide the horrible flavor with powered sugar . That was the last time we will ever set foot in there . These locals were greatly disappointed.

Came in here for a mini family breakfast and was not disappointed! The staff were so friendly, the music was upbeat and fun, the ambience was beautiful, and the food was delicious. I am so happy we stopped here because this is definitely our new favorite breakfast spot and it's much better than some other restaurants in town! Recommendations: DIVORCED EGGS w/ eggs over medium (delicious) Spicy Bloody Mary Thank you, guys, for a delicious breakfast! You all provide fantastic, quality food and service. We will definitely be back!!!

I was in Boulder City for the railroad museum, and I'd gotten up really early and hadn't had breakfast yet, so I was STARVING by around 11:15 a.m. when I arrived. There was a huge group of 12 that was waiting to be seated, and the hostess was inside trying to arrange things, so I stood at the hostess stand for quite some time without being acknowledged -- which didn't set a great tone for the beginning of my experience. But once that overwhelming bit was over, the hostess walked me to my table and even switched seats for me so I would be more comfortable (some of the seats are a little higher, more like barstools, and since I'm short, she got me one with a footrest). That was above and beyond, and I really appreciated it. The food and drink came out very quickly and I was really impressed. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with sausage -- and it was HUGE! It also was prepared with one of my top 3 flour tortillas I've ever had in my lifetime. The salsa was tomato-y and not spicy at all, but honestly I didn't need salsa and there's hot sauce on the table anyway. (Next time I might ask for some guac on the side though.) I also really enjoyed the guitarist who was playing (this was during Sunday brunch), although I didn't catch his name. Lots of great musical selections of instrumental versions of tunes by Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Chicago, soft rock of the late 70s, etc. I wish I could've stayed and had some Dole Whip but I had a full day planned and had to be on my way. Definitely noting as a favorite for the next time I'm in Boulder City!

With little to no background, we were surprised at all of the "As seen on Food Network" labels next to several menu items. It was hard to choose with so many lunch and breakfast options, but we settled on the Godfather Omelette with a waffle and the Meatloaf & Eggs. The Godfather was like a pizza inside of eggs. A very generous and tasty portion. The upgraded side of a waffle was well worth the price; fluffy, thick, and well flavored of vanilla. It's honestly a perfected classic, and the best waffle we've had in a while. The Meatloaf & Eggs were also great. The waitresses were so kind and personable. Very well equipped to handle a crowd and acquaintanced with many locals, addressing them by name. Our coffees and waters were consistently topped. We loved sitting at the counter and watching everyone. Fantastic service in this classic American breakfast diner. This is a family-owned, family-run staple breakfast and lunch destination for locals and people around the globe. It has also been featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I had the Papa Con Chili Verde with hashbrowns. This dish is made with Pork Chili Verde, cheddar cheese, pepper jack, pico de gallo, and flour or corn tortillas. I added an over-easy egg as well. The hash browns had a really nice crunch and good seasoning. The egg was cooked perfectly with a nice runny yolk. The cheese added some gooey texture, a little salt, and a bit of bite, while the peppers added a nice crunch to each bite. The pico also added a bright, fresh texture to the dish. The Pork Verde was beautiful, with great spice and juiciness, tender yet with a good chew. The entire dish works well together, and it was hard to stop eating it. I also sampled their biscuit with homemade gravy. The biscuit was light and airy with great texture, chew, and flavor. It was buttery and fresh. The gravy was seasoned really well, with big chunks of well-seasoned sausage that weren't overpowering, along with sage and other seasonings. The gravy was thick enough to stand up in its own, but not so thick that it had the consistency of glue. Perfect, flavorful, and amazing are about the only ways I could describe it. My wife had the B.L.T.E. on sourdough with home fries. This sandwich is served with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and egg. The sourdough was thick-cut and lightly toasted, with a light flavor, crunch, and great chew. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, bright, and both had a great texture. The eggs were well fried and seasoned. The bacon was medium-thick, cooked to perfection with crunch, chew, and a great salty flavor. The home fries came in a huge portion, were well seasoned, but were undercooked and had an unwanted crunch. They also came with grilled onions, which tasted good, but I'm not sure why they were put on top of the potatoes rather than cooked along with them. Coffee Cup has a full menu for both breakfast and lunch. They serve loads of burgers, wraps, sandwiches, plate meals, burritos, omelets, diner classics, and sides. They have a full bar and serve beer. The staff was extremely nice, and the service and food were quick. The Fat Man says that The Coffee Cup Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 3 chins.

This review is based on three separate visits and each visit's order was for two people (i.e. two…read moremeals). Wait Time: Between all three visits, there was an average wait time of 20-30 minutes. When we arrived to the window to pay on our first visit, we were told to take a lap around the drive-thru and that our order would be ready upon our return. It turned out we arrived to the window and waited about 20 minutes before we received our order. Order: With the wait time in mind, please remember that Rome wasn't built in a day--so don't expect a quality meal to be ready within five minutes. With that being said, we ordered the 1). double cheeseburger with fries, 2). crispy chicken sandwich with fries, 3). fish and chips, 4). chicken tenders, 5). a strawberry shake, and 6). a chocolate shake between our three visits. The quality across all three visits was consistent and detailed here: 1). The Double Cheeseburger was cooked to our doneness preference. The bun was toasted with light butter and a slight crunch to the bite. The patties were juicy and well-seasoned. The cheese was evenly melted on the patties. The condiments did not overpower the patties' flavor. The toppings were the standard lettuce, tomato, and onions--which worked harmoniously with the rest of the burger, making for one of the best burgers I have ever had. Upon first glance, it meets my expectations of what a burger should be. 2). Much like the Double Cheeseburger, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich was of excellent quality. All of its components worked collectively to deliver in flavor and texture, including the toasted bun with the slight crunch. It was a perfect Crispy Chicken Sandwich. 3). The Fries were flavorful (fry seasoning, salt), crinkle cut, and evenly fried throughout (i.e. you did not have some hard pieces and some soggy pieces). We recommend a side of ranch for dipping. 4). The Fish and Chips were your standard Fish and Chips--and I mean that in the best way. They were fried until the classic golden and served with tartar sauce. Again, everything you would expect out of Fish and Chips. 5). While the Chicken Tenders were good, they were not outstanding. We would not order them again due to the other superior items on the menu. 6). The Strawberry Shake was flavored with fresh strawberries and like the Chicken Tenders, it was not outstanding. The Chocolate Shake was a classic Chocolate Shake. If you are craving a shake, then go for it. Otherwise, there isn't anything that would separate these shakes from another good quality shake. Both shakes leaned toward a thicker consistency. Note: The medium sized shakes are huge. If we ever get one again in the future, we will order a small instead. Service: We felt welcomed during each visit and did not feel rushed at the intercom (all three of our visits were through the drive-thru). Prior to visiting, we were unsure of what to expect with the mixed reviews and ultimately decided that we would just find out for ourselves. We are so grateful that we made the choice to try Chilly Jilly'z, because it is now one of our favorite spots in Southern Nevada. We definitely recommend that you give it a try!

This place has a legit small-town feel and serves some excellent barbecue. We ordered the Burger special, sliders (one pork and one brisket), and The Brisket sandwich. The sliders were huge for sliders and served on big toasted buns and piled high with coleslaw, onions, pickles, and pepperoncinis. Both meats were flavorful and tender. The brisket sandwich was outstanding: certified Angus beef cooked low and slow, seasoned with their Texas-style rub, sliced thick, and stacked high on grilled Texas toast. Very satisfying. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. We also tried the fried okra and potato salad. The okra was amazing; crispy and delicious. The potato salad was just okay for me and a little bland, but I'm from the north, so I know everyone makes potato salad differently depending on the region.
