Amazing Smash Sliders with Sangria.... Unexpected. It's been a while since I've visited Jackson Height's staple on 75th and 37th but it was quite the surprise. Kudos to the chef and the team here for a Happy Hour menu that fits perfectly in my case when I was just looking for a place to wait for someone. Definitely a place to come back and visit. Well done Ricky!

I had a most wonderful and peaceful breakfast by myself at Ricky's cafe while the rest of my family shopped around the neighborhood. I ordered a western omelet with rye toast (my usual) and hot coffee. My server could not have been nicer. I apologized for needing to make a couple of phone calls while I was there and he said there was no need. There was an older gentleman who entered, seemed like he had fallen on some tough times. He ordered a bowl of soup and was kind of agitated, but eventually settled down. When I went to pay for myself, I offered to pay for the older man as well, but they waved me off and let me know they had already covered it. How kind! I ended up having a long conversation with the owner, she though she recognized me, but I was not who she thought I was. I left wishing I lived closer, if so, I would 100% be a Ricky's regular.

Ricky's gets it right EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Best grilled steak salad EVER!!! The dressing, the goat cheese, the crispy fried onions over the fresh arugula and grape tomatoes....pure heaven!! The steak is even perfectly seasoned and tender!!! Go order it...it never disappoints. Chapeau to the chef!!

Great Happy Hour & Wings for the area. The guy serving was incredibly nice and welcoming. Honestly these wings took me back to my high school days. Never thought I would be able to taste wings like these again. I definitely will be back for the wings. Get the sauce on the side!

Upon walking in a busy Saturday morning, the waitresses were reluctant to seat my parents and I. My father lost his cool after being ignored for what seemed like ten minutes. We noticed another Hispanic couple being dubbed while the white customers were treated first. Kinda sucked seeing that especially in Jackson heights... but whatever. The food was delicious diner breakfast food. It's less greasy than other options around queens and the portions are smaller for sure. The toast came already buttered for anyone that cares about toast customization. The coffee according to my mother was "real coffee" and the home fries were sooo yummy. Ima come back regardless of their slow service.

I came here for a quick breakfast the other morning. The location is great, as I live just a block away and it is situated just a few blocks away from the 74th St Jackson Heights train station. I ordered a very basic breakfast of eggs with bacon. the order came with a home fries, a choice of toast, coffee/tea, and juice. It was plenty of food for a reasonably priced breakfast special. The staff was friendly and using straws and paper cups to cut down on cross contamination with Covid-19. I will certainly come back for breakfast or lunch soon.

Around here there is only street parking so make sure to come by train if possible. This place is a dinner like at the corner and the staff is very friendly. We sat here drank coffe and our waitress was awesome. She did not bother us making us order things. she only told us to make sure to call her when we ready, and that is great cause we took our time. Tuna melt- I got it with dinner roll and a cheddar cheese. Amazed with the taste. The food here was pretty good. this is a very nice meal. I will come back to have it again. I do have to say that they took a little long to bring the food and it was a little cooler when it got to the table. So the biggest negative to me was the food not being as warm as I hoped but besides that it was a great place to come a chill, drink some coffee and not worry about a crazy waiter trying to flip the tables. I will come back again for sure.

This place still holds it down in town! Came here for Tuesday bfast. We ordered - Lemon ginger tea T. Sausage egg & cheese croissant sandwich Steak & eggs w/potatoe Croissant fluffy yet crispy, sausage of choice not too salty and flavorful. Even with the cheese everything tasted "clean" and not greasy. Steak was done medium the way it should have been and eggs tasted fresh. Tea was just the hint of zen needed to make this meal on point. Staff still friendly and helpful as always. Thank you for making our Tuesday morning and a great start to a short road trip! "This is a plate worth licking"

The sauce that was served was absolutely delicious with the signature tanginess and sweetness of Thai food. The hot pot that I ordered was also enjoyed to the fullest! The food here was super good but also I love liver so I was glad they had a hot pot option that included that! After a delicious meal, we finished off with the mango bingsu which also was a huge hit! The bingsu was super fluffy and light! This meal was definitely worth it and didn't leave me feeling super heavy. The service was also great even though they were always full house with some parties waiting and only one person serving. I will be back next time to try their Thai barbecue which I saw people having and I could stop looking at! On top of all this, the server or manager even gave me a free Melona ice cream which I paired with the bingsoo after he saw that I was pregnant which I thought was super sweet. I don't live too far from here so I also want to add that even though I have not added a review, I always go to this restaurant to grab a coconut Thai milk tea to go (I am not even a huge Thai tea fan)! For some reason, I love the coconut thai tea from here and always find myself craving it.

The atmosphere is indeed cozy with quaint outdoor seating as well. Unfortunately, I gave their iced matcha latte two tries, on two separate days. Sadly, their version of an iced matcha latte is watery and lacks the matcha flavor, despite being green. It just tastes like milk. It takes a lot of flavored syrup to make this drink taste better, and syrupy drinks aren't good. The first time I had it, I was surprised to be chewing on ginger pieces that were floating in the bottom of my drink. Luckily, I like ginger and, more importantly, I'm not allergic. I passed it off as maybe their unique twist on a matcha latte. When I went back for a second try, I asked them to not put ginger in the drink, to which I was told ginger should have never been in the drink and the whisk they used was likely not fully cleaned from a drink that contains ginger. Uhh, gross! And not a good practice for a restaurant serving the public. I forgave the first mistake and ordered another iced matcha latte with lavender. I get back to my family's house, take a sip, and notice they omitted the lavender. Had to walk back to get it corrected. The young lady taking orders was very apologetic and swift in correcting it. However, her colleague wearing a bandana on her hair was not as kind and seemed to be irritated at my kind request it be fixed. Both of my experiences have been off putting and I simply will not be back! Thank goodness the neighborhood has alternatives like Over The Moon and Qahwah Valley. Espresso 77 would benefit from improved quality of their products, cleanliness, and customer service.
