I am so thankful for Ricky. She's the only consistent and reliable eyebrow tech I've ever been to, and I've been to many. I spent a month and a half growing my brows out so that she could make them 100% perfect but unfortunately had to settle for someone else before seeing her. I spent $20 at a boujee "brow bar" and my eyebrows were totally messed up. I let them grow out for two weeks and Ricky made them as perfect as possible. She does an excellent job on her own and then listens to what you have to say too, because of course we see certain imperfections on ourselves and have certain peeves that other people couldn't possibly know. I've been looking for a new eyebrow threading place when I found Ricky's and am always nervous about trying someplace new, but when I tell you it's true that my eyebrows have never looked better! I went to Ricky's for the first time a few days ago and she truly does live up to all of her 5 star reviews here. When I first walked in, I noticed how serene and clean the inside was. She happily greeted me as she was finishing up a different client and told me she'd be with me in a moment before having me wait in a separate space as a social distancing safety precaution. I felt very safe seeing all the covid safety precautions that were put in place (clean space, social distancing, masks) and when it was my turn to get my brows done she even told me about all the safety measures she puts in place there which made me feel very comfortable getting my brows done there. Ricky is such a friendly and sweet person, immediately asking what my name was and writing down my number so that the next time I call for an appointment she'd have my name saved. It was a very nice and personal experience. My eyebrows were a complete mess when I first came in after not having them done for months and Ricky definitely has the magic touch when it comes to eyebrow threading. Unlike some other places I've been to, when she threaded my brows it didn't hurt in the slightest and as she goes she is sure to check that they are shaped beautifully and even. Ricky takes great pride in what she does and checks that there isn't a hair out of place once they are done. Today I had my first appointment with Ricky...she did an amazing job!! Before even fixing my eyebrows, she analyzed them and had a conversation with me about what my eyebrow should look like. She explained to me how the length of my eyebrow wasn't correct, and how she will let it grow and fix my shape. She made sure I completely understood how she was going to fix my eyebrows. At all the recent salons I've been they made me sit in the chair and did my eyebrows without saying a word to me about what they were doing....that's not the case with Ricky!!
