I called left messages on refunding my credit card for inferior service causing me to require eye doctor help. I get answering machine . I disputed the charge which was denied by glamour threading . No responsibility is being taken for inferior service not having the true know how for lash extensions The place is always empty . I don't know how they pay the rent with the few customers. The first time I came here the woman giving me a pedicure offered me a massage for my pedicure which I had already had on my gift card. When I went to go pay they told me I asked for another ADDITIONAL massage so I had to pay more $$. I was upset, but paid and let it go. I received an email later from the salon that they would give me a $10 coupon to come back for the miscommunication. So here I am, finally about 8 months later making my way back here to use my coupon. I ask how much for callus removal, which they say $15. Again, overpriced but I accept. The girl doing my pedicure scrubs my feet instead of using the scraper and I ask why she didn't use the scraper. She said they couldn't use it because of covid. Which would have been helpful to know PRIOR to spending the $15. This place is a rip off and I'll never come here again. The pedicure isn't great enough where it's worth $40 even. It's a normal pedicure. There is absolutely nothing special about it. Worst of all they don't care about taking advantage of people and their money. It's like they don't realize people won't come back again. Both times I've been here the place has been absolutely empty. Recommend going somewhere else. Anywhere else at that. I'll never come here again. It's unlikely they'll end up staying in business.

I was pleasantly surprised by the haircut I got at The Emerald Door. Deb thinned out my hair in the back and gave me a layered bob I can blow dry/style myself, even with 2 cowlicks! She did exactly what I wanted. Other stylists have taken phone calls chit-chatted with other people while doing my hair. Deborah gave my hair her full attention. It was a totally pleasant experience. I am pretty disappointed with my experience here…read more Despite the check-in process being smooth I found myself waiting 15 minutes to be seen for my facial (mind you I was on time, not early). Once seen, I felt somewhat rushed and a little in the dark about the type of facial I was receiving. Despite saying I only wished to pay base price and avoid any $ add-ons, the facialist was trying to convince me I needed other services. They have done this in the past with my 15 year-old sister (who of course didn't know things would cost $ and nervously nodded along). When someone asks for the basic facial with a set price, it is NEVER ok to try to coerce them into more products, especially minors! I found it difficult to relax when receiving my facial. I was in the room closest to the waiting room, and the thin walls + quiet music made it easy to hear things going on outside. It also sounded like there was some sort of construction going on at times. Additionally, I'm not sure the facialist wore a mask when working on me, and feeling/smelling someone's breath on your face is not exactly the most soothing experience... After 40/45 minutes (of my 50 minute slot), my facial ended and I went to the front to pay. I appreciated the first-time discount, but was somewhat appalled by the tipping suggestion. I am pro-tipping but I think almost a third of the service cost is a bit outrageous. I will likely not be returning to this location!
