Partially consumed Rainbow Roll with Sake/Salmon and Seared Tuna

I've only ordered them online so I can't speak to what the food cart is like but everything I've had delivered has been top-notch and amazing. I barely have enough time to capture photos before the food is gone (hence the partially eaten sushi roll in my photo). What I love especially is how they have SO many vegetarian and vegan options AND they always thoughtfully package them separately from the other rolls. They have a lot of options behind basic avocado or boring veggie rolls. Their regular sushi rolls are also inventive and interesting. Portions are very generous and they give you lots of wasabi and ginger. This is by far one of my absolute favorite places to get sushi because I can get lots of veg variety that's fresh, delicious, and a great value.

OMG!!! This place is SO DELICIOUS! My first time going, so I've only tried "Ricky's Special Roll" and BOY am I impressed! Ingredients were so fresh, melt in your mouth tuna, moist and tender salmon... JUST WOW! They take their time with such a lovely presentation, definitely worth the wait and noticeable quality ingredients too! Bright and flavor-able texture packed in a huge roll! Definitely bigger than your average specialty roll, I was very pleasantly filled up! I usually have to buy a couple sushi rolls when I've missed breakfast and end up having a later lunch. But this roll was perfect size and hit the spot! I was originally looking for island food in my area, but happened upon this place. And although, I am not a picky eater, as I am a fan of a wide range of cuisines...I am VERY picky when it comes to quality. I just have a very sensitive stomach & palate. That being said...I am such an instant fan! Can't wait to try other things on their menu. Definitely going back for more!

Ricky's has a track record of getting me right every time with quality food and can-do positive attitude when I ask for substitutions or add-ons. I love the friendly and chill vibe of people working in this food truck in The Yard at Montevilla. On chilly nights I've come to order sushi, and they offer a cup of complimentary miso soup that helps warm me up. When I mentioned I loved their pickled ginger, they were so generous with it in everything I ordered! My partner loves their sushi burritos and I'm falling in love with multiple menu items-- Vegas Rolls and The Heart Attack are definitely worth trying if you like cream cheese and tempura batter-fried options. I was pleasantly surprised the heart attack has stuffed jalepeños on a healthy bed of salad! Thanx for taking good care of us, Ricky's!

Always sooooo good I have already recommended them but had to add another. The fish is so fresh and the rolls are hearty. #1 sushi spot for me!

I have loved Ricky's sushi for a long time now! Me and my coworker always come here for sushi if want it. The price is perfect for what you order. I always seem to have a little extra or just the right portions to go back to working, an have a full belly. The service is always great and friendly all around. The owner is there always says "Hi, how are you doing?" Always love Ricky's! Hoping it never leaves that area!

Found this great sushi spot. I was surprised that they didn't have Yelp page so I starts one. This is a food cart sushi. Very good quality and big rolls. Each roll has 9 pieces of sushi and each piece is big. I ordered Ricky's special roll, Crazy roll, and spicy creamy scallops. That was too much food even for a big eater like me. Sushi were great! The owner, Ricky, explained to me about his rolls. Very nice guy. Highly recommend this small sushi spot. Definitely will be back.

I came after a review I read on Eater for FoPo area eats. I'm not a huge fried food fan but this place was good. I got the Steelhead trout fish and chips. Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!

The staff is always friendly, the service is prompt, and orders come out quickly and are plated so beautifully they *must* be photographed every time. I'm a creature of habit so I could order flautas here forever, but I promised myself I would try the chile relleno next time we go. Wish me luck! We love the casual vibe. Teen wanted boba, and we decided to order Mediterranean from this place which also strangely sells boba. Yes, I rewarded the chore avoidance. Sue me. I worked four tens, all week my mental health clients were stressed and distressed, and I was honestly a lump. We both ordered a Moroccan stewed chicken that comes with saffron rice, salad, and three spicy sauces - one yogurt and maybe sumac? , one sriracha, and one yogurt mixed with sriracha maybe? We liked the rice, chicken, salad, and the yogurt sauce. Just ok though. Not omg good. I wish the two other sauces had been in separate containers and not on the rice. My mint and honey tea was fine. Kid's boba was not full. Not because it spilled either, because it was sealed with the boba seal lid thingy. For $6 that was disappointing. The hummus and dolmades plate came with one sad not good pita, ONE, and I think our Uber eats driver flung it out the window like kids used to deliver newspapers from their bikes because yogurt sauce was freaking everywhere. The hummus was not great. Teen ( the dolmades fan) said the grape leaves were good. Probably not a repeat in store. One and done.
