I've only ever ordered delivery from Twin Sushi PDX, but it has been so good all three times that now I want to visit in person! I love the red dragon roll so much! they also do a buy one get one free for the spicy tuna and california rolls. What i appreciate is that even when ordered to be delivered, everything is made with such care. The fish quality is amazing and everything is very neat and clean. I will definitely continue to order from here and hope to visit in person as well!

Tofu poke bowl. This is what it looked like when I opened my take out. I think the contents shifted!

I tried this food cart in Oak Tree Station food truck pod. I ordered ahead and picked up my lunch. It was ready and waiting when I arrived. The man who served me was super friendly. I liked him a lot. I looked at the website and had decided on the spicy garlic tofu poke. Unfortunately when I called to order he said they didn't have it and only had the ginger tofu version, so I went with that. It was a lot of food and filled me up. In fact, wasn't hungry for dinner because I was still full. I think between the tofu and edamame, there was plenty of protein. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that the sauce that came on everything was just to acidic for me. It was too sour & vinegar heavy. But that's my personal taste. You might like it.

Wow is all I can say! Exceptional service so friendly and nice also very reasonable priced rolls?? And for the price you get a lot and it's super delicious! I've been here a few times and def will be back a few more, also if you don't wanna go inside the food carts next door definitely come across the street less than a block away to come get sushi from here!

Ambiance - the location is at a street corner with plenty of parking, right across from a food truck lot. I went on a Wednesday at around 4:30pm and the restaurant was very quiet, comfortable, with mellow music and friendly staff. The lighting and temperature was comfortable. The place appears very clean! Food - I ordered a variety of food, as pictured, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The food came out quickly and all at the same time. The price was so reasonable for everything. Their sushi donuts and sushi burritos seem to be a specialty. The donut was amazing! I will definitely plan on coming here again!

Always delicious! I like to it in the bar because it's a bit quieter (weird right) haha. The service is always great, we get checked in on quite a lot, and if you sit in the bar you'll never get low on your drinks!

Altogether, this was pretty great sushi! We ordered two rolls, a sushi burrito to split, and edamame for dinner and it ended up being a little too much food. It was so much food for the price point! The rolls were delicious, but I realized I would've liked the Las Vegas roll better if it didn't have cream cheese. The fried outside is so good and the size of each piece is unbelievable. The interior is informal and has cool art on the wall. They've got a lot of options for sake and some non-alcoholic bottled drinks. The size and variety of the menu alone I would say makes this worth trying. There are even lots of vegetarian options. I'll be back, especially because my previous go-to sushi place has been less and less food that's becoming increasingly expensive.

We ordered for delivery and the sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. It was a lot of food and we were happy with the taste. Not the fanciest place in Portland but solid for delivery.

My husband and I were out exploring and I was craving one thing and he was craving another. Fortunately, Wasabi Sushi had both! We also didn't want to wait too long for our food because we were starving. At Wasabi Sushi, you walk in, order at the counter, find an empty table, and your butt barely even touches the seat and then you find that your food is already there! LOL! Okay, I may be exaggerating a little bit, but that's what it felt like for me. We definitely appreciated the fast service. It was a chilly day, so I really wanted some ramen and he hasn't had sushi for some time and needed his sushi fix. We ordered a TONKOTSU RAMEN for me and a SPIDER B-RITTO for him. We also shared a RED DRAGON ROLL. The tonkotsu ramen was good, no complaints. I added a lot of spice since I personally like my ramen fiery hot. I actually enjoyed the red dragon roll more and wish I didn't have to share it. It was all too filling, so we had enough leftovers to bring home and enjoy at a later time. We found an empty table by the window. It wasn't too packed when we were there on a Sunday. We especially loved the vibes inside! Colorful murals filled the walls of the restaurant, made for some pretty epic lunchtime views.

I was influenced to try Wasabi Sushi. I saw a Reel of theirs on Instagram and wanted to try their trendy sushi donuts. I ended up calling in and ordering wayyyy too much for a takeout order. I got two sushi burritos, two sushi donuts, one sushi burger, and a sushi roll. For two people. Pickup was quick - about 20 minutes. Their takeout boxes are cleverly branded and quite sturdy. Costs were on the pricier side, but it's sushi and it's trendy so that makes sense. Everything tasted good. If anything, I wish items like the hot cheeto sushi burrito had even more flavor. I would probably skip the burger next time as the rice bun fell apart very easily. But I would re-order the burrito and donut for novelty - perhaps with an out of town visitor looking for quirky Portland food!

Meh just average ok sushi. Service was friendly. It's been about 10 years since I have been here and my husband about 4 years. We came here randomly one night craving sushi while shopping in the area but left feeling a little let down and remembered why it had been so long since we had been back. It's just mediocre at best. We did try a few different rolls and an appetizer which was all filler.

I usually get the ocean bowl as my go to meal but today I wanted to try the flaming hot cheeto sushi burrito... If you like spicy, hot cheetos and sushi- this is the one for you. In my own opinion I love anything spicy and hot cheetos so this was tasty for me. I love how crunchy it is and how with one half you can feel full! I would definitely order again Service is great and there's outdoor seating if you like eating outside

Salmon bone - Pivot Special Roll
    Olivia P.

I don't know if I would come back to eat here. I called in and ordered 2 rolls, a caterpillar roll (eel + avocado + eel sauce) and their pivot special roll (spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, avocado, raw salmon on top) and both were really just.. whatever.. the caterpillar was much better than the pivot, which was really fishy and didn't have any other flavors than that. Not to mention a bone I bit into from a piece of salmon which was really irritating, like learn to clean the properly PLEASE. Back to the caterpillar roll though, it tasted good from the eel sauce but inside the actual roll, there was little to no actual eel. Like such an incredibly small amount. It was $15 for each roll, so $30 plus a $5 tip. I wasn't expecting top grade fish and taste but I was thinking it would've been better than what I got.

I was craving sushi and chose this place on a food delivery app because of their decent prices and wide range of options. I honestly wasn't expecting the food to be great because I've had my fair share of less-than-mediocre sushi in Portland, but I was pretty satisfied with my meal. I tend to look for items that have tuna rather than salmon, which can sometimes be hard to find in the northwest. Wasabi Sushi had more than enough options for me to pick from. I ordered the Cart Lab Sushi B-Ritto, Caterpillar Sushi Roll, Red Dragon Sushi Roll and a Spicy Tuna Sushi Roll. I was happily surprised with the size of the sushi burrito because I thought it'd be smaller for $11. My favorite dish out of these was definitely the Red Dragon which came with spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber and spicy eel sauce. I'm still on the hunt for my favorite sushi spot in Portland, but I wouldn't be opposed to ordering from Wasabi Sushi again.

I ordered the red miso, and there was sugar snap peas and asparagus, which is unusual. The individual ingredients themselves were fine but as a whole, it didn't taste like miso or spicy ramen. The overload of vegetables didn't seem to belong in a typical miso ramen dish (my go-to order) and rendered the broth quite bland. My husband ordered the black shoyu ramen, which was pretty one-note. Ota Tofu is one of my favorite spots in Portland for their amazingly fresh tofu, and it's right across from this ramen shop. Sadly, the tofu they used here was fried to a crisp, lost most of its flavor and had an unpleasant, sharp texture.

Tonkotsu Shoyu (4/5): A deeply comforting and classic bowl of ramen. They offer a generous portion of perfectly cooked noodles paired with plenty of fresh vegetables like spinach, green onions, and mushrooms. The soft-boiled egg was perfectly yolky, but the dish would've been elevated even further with a slightly more generous serving of chashu pork. Tonkotsu Red (5/5): A unique variation for those who love a bit of heat. It shares the same chewy noodle and vegetable foundation as the Shoyu, but has a spicy broth that builds and ramps up the more you slurp. The heat was a distinct, subtle numbing sensation reminding me of Sichuan peppercorns, creating an incredibly flavorful and unique twist on a traditional tonkotsu base. Logistics Tip: This is a fast and casual self-service setup where you walk right up to the counter upon entering to order from the menu displayed on the wall.
