I dropped my item off on the afternoon of 12/24 and it sold on 1/24 - quick turnaround! Fastest sale of any item I've ever put on consignment, and I'm not a super average clothing size. I went with a couple friends on the fat tire bike tour around Breckenridge. The staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Rob, who's also the owner, was great--knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and organized. He obviously cares about the customer experience (really high quality fat tire bikes!--no joke) and about community engagement (weaving local shops and businesses into the experience for us to get a feel for this historical goldmine of a town). We ended our tour at the distillery and brewery. Rob was on point when it came to organizing and planning things so we didn't have to wait around for our bikes to be hauled back or for a ride when my friends and I were finally ready to leave the brewery. I just ordered a brand new pair of boots back home , traveled to breck rode twice and found out real quick they were too big... someone told me about a resale shop in town that could prob sell the pair I had and I might could find some used ones... I came in here bummed hoping to find a decent used pair in the right size ... Lucky me I found a brand new pair and also listed mine for sale ... What an easy transaction everything was ... The guys in the store are super friendly and helpful ... Highest quality gear, incredibly knowledgeable staff, BEST prices in Breckenridge! Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to rent ski/snowboard gear in Breckenridge. Before deciding on Ridden, I looked into about 20 ski shops between Denver and Breckenridge. Not only does Ridden offer the most comprehensive ski packages (VERY few shops offer goggles for rent; Ridden's goggles and helmets come free with ski/snowboard rental), they also rent their gear at prices lower than most other places. Jared, the shop's manager, was amazingly patient with me and my family. All of us are very new to skiing, and not only did Jared teach us how to take on and off all of the gear (not an easy task for people who have never put on snowboards before), but he also gave us great advice on the best runs for new skiers. Whether you're a novice or a lifelong skier, I recommend Ridden for anyone who wants to enjoy all of the outdoor fun of Breckenridge without excessive spending. read more

Dropped my board and boots off for consignment sale. I entered my info into the system and got a pricing estimate from the guy there. Took about 10 minutes! I live on the east coast so I was a little hesitant just dropping my stuff off (I wasn't provided a receipt for what I dropped off, but the reviews were good so I figured it would be fine). My boots sold in a couple of weeks--I received an email to notify me of the sale, and I received a check in the mail shortly thereafter. My board just now sold (less than 2 months later), and I'm sure I will be receiving another check in the mail. The shop collects 50% from the sale--you could make more money selling on your own, but that's the price you pay for convenience! I'm very pleased with the convenience of the process--this is a great place to drop off unwanted gear for sale if you'd rather not deal with selling it yourself. read more

Went on the wine and whiskey bike tour with Rob as our guide who was fantastic. He was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Breckenridge. Went to 2 wineries Carboy and The Continental Divide both of which had some really great Colorado wines. Rode over to Breckenridge Distillery on a beautiful leisurely path (with the option to go on the dirt paths if you wanted a little more adventure). The distillery tour was also great, upgraded to more tastings and we got to try 10 different products. Highly recommend this tour and Rob as a guide! read more

Jared provided expert advice in getting a "new" pair of consigned skis. The skis drastically improved my skiing experience and level. I was even able to consign my old skis and they sold in a week. The guys were a great help I purchased a full setup. I got a rossignol jibsaw 15/16 with flux tt bindings and burton ambush boots. Problem was they charged me full price for the jibsaw board when I could've bought it anywhere else for about $150 cheaper since it was an older model. Sad to say I won't be going back for any of my gear and I highly suggest checking google before you buy anything from them. read more

As a Floridian who has never seen snow, this place had exactly what I was looking for: snow gear for rent. I rented a pair of snow pants and goggles. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a moment when I thought I had lost the goggles and the manager told me even though I would have to pay for the missing pair, he would give me another rental pair free of charge - thankfully that wasn't necessary as I found them eventually. Thanks to Ridden I got to spend the whole day skiing, I wasn't cold at all, and I didn't have to buy pants I will never use again. Win win win read more

We went on the bike and beer tour with Jarod. We rode the fat tire bikes. We stopped at two distilleries and ended at the Broken Compass Brewery. After getting totally dissed by Lonestar Sports for rentals, we stopped by Ridden to see if we could just consign a pair of mens Rossignol skis. We were pleasantly surprised that we could also be the first to rent skis, boots, poles and helmets from them for our kids. Jared was a total rock star about handling everything from the paperwork to all the fittings for all three of our boys. Dropped some ski pants off at the store to sell. Jared BLACK was very helpful to me and explained the whole process to me.I came back the next day looking for ski boots and skis for myself not knowing what to look for. I left a pair of snowboard boots on consignment in early February this year, and received an email on the 21st of February informing me that my item had sold and a check would be posted on Ridden's next payout cycle. I emailed them after 5 months of no contact and no sign of my check in late July, politely enquiring as to when I may be reasonably expecting to receive my check, yet this again was ignored, with no form of contact by anyone at Ridden. It seems a bit ridiculous that it has taken over 6 months from the time I was informed my item had sold with still no sign of my money. read more
