I'm very disappointed with service department. It's not the repair that they did, but that one of the mechanics thought it was okay to take my two pair of sunglasses from the car. The free Costco case was left behind. One were cheap ones but cute, but the second pair is Saint Lauren sunglasses in original case. Not cool to give it to your girlfriend at my expense. I bought them with my own money saving up for them. I'm not rich. I can't just go get another one. I don't work right now, you do, you make more money than I ever did! I typically never leave a negative review but I had to voice this concern to let others know how this business treats their customers. I purchased a car from Honda about a week ago. I saw a sensor of tire pressure pop up. I checked the tire pressure and it was ok. I called the service department to make an appointment to check the sensor. I was told by the customer service representative that this is a known issue and to stop by any dealership service department and a technician can check and reset the sensor. No need to make an appointment. I went to Hoen Dealership in Carlsbad two hours prior to the service department closing. I told the person who came out that I was told to stop by for a quick check and reset. Without even attempting to hear me out, he told me that he had nobody to help me. He added that I should go home, look at my owner's manual and figure it out myself and walked away. Unbelievable! I did not think that this is the type of service that Honda aims to provide their customers after the sale. I asked another person to speak to a manager or get a number to call. They refused to call anyone and said that they do not have a corporate office contact number or any manager I can reach. This is unfortunately how I was treated in my new Honda I purchased a week ago. Very disappointing. I would avoid this service department at all cost. read more
