They are also the new home of the classic Rum Runner drink since The Beacon over at Camp Richardson is no more. Winning! Pro Tip: Parking is free after 5PM. An evening visit can be a great way to end your day! Otherwise parking is only $12. Honestly, some reviewers complain about this place as being busy, too small, or not having the best view due to the boats moored here. While they aren't wrong, I think they just don't get it. Round Hill Pines isn't about being a huge beach with perfect views. Its a small locals spot which offers affordable beach access with great amenities. Don't be a hater! Tahoe love!

The champagne at check-in is a nice touch. If there's a line, sit by the fire in the lobby or the one outside while you wait. Rooms are good sized, especially the mini suites. Small things keep this from getting five stars: * No true desk area with plugs if you have to work * Lights in bathroom are dim making it harder to shave * Bed is very comfortable but pillows are mid Spa is very nice. I appreciate the steam room and the shared quiet room with snacks. The heated outdoor jacuzzi is epic -- I may have stayed in it for 30 mins. Massages are resort priced but excellent. Food is high quality and good variety. (Will review separately) Lots of onsite activities, especially during summer. Almost all of the staff are over the top friendly. Despite asking every time, I've never been able to get a late checkout. I guess they are always busy.

I had never stayed at the lodge before, but several of my friends have and could not recommend it enough. We had a ground floor two-queen bed room. Everything about this hotel speaks luxury. The room was spacious and had all of the comforts you could ever want: soft, plush beds, a large bathroom with ample vanity space, large walk-in shower, and massive bathtub. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the beach watching the sunset over Lake Tahoe. I love that they offer fun activities such as board games and s'mores around the fire. They offer morning, yoga classes by the lake as well as lawn games like cornhole. The pool looked wonderful, although we did not partake. This is definitely a spot you would want to come if you were celebrating a wedding or an anniversary. Pretty much a bust to try and make coffee with cone filters in a round basket. Everything we asked for took a while so we had to go to front desk for some items. This year, a sewer line in the lake broke meaning no running water. After several calls, Brandon had no alternative place for our family to stay. We ended up in a hotel with bags and boxes all around us. We paid for that experience on top of the house rental. He only returned our money for the house after several more phone calls and several more days. The agreed upon morning we left Tahoe and returned to the house to pick up the last of our belongings in the garage, he had his cleaning lady there on the phone to him telling us we had to leave. We told her she could start cleaning and that we would be out of there ASAP. But Brandon called my husband to tell him to hurry and get out. We were easily going to be out before the 11:00 deadline. Why be so unkind if the house had no running water and was unable to be used? RUN, do not walk away from Brandon. He is disreputable. As an update: Brandon messaged my husband to call me a liar about this review. (There were 5 adults on our trip who experienced this.) His unprofessionalism in texting us after what we went through because his feelings were hurt by reading an honest review, just makes my point even stronger. Second update: 8 days after getting home, Brandon is still calling me a liar. Please do read other recent reviews. One on Birdeye just 3 months ago, describes Brandon's response to renters in a situation they had no control of and his follow up contact after reading their reviews which was described as "aggressive and disrespectful." Brandon gets very few details right of this bigger picture he creates below 1. We were not met at the front door when we returned from our day around the lake. There was a team of Douglas county workers out back. They DID NOT say that the damage was solely due to lake levels and DID NOT say that it hadn't been repaired because of lake levels. They were concerned with fixing the line at all (although other properties were able to be fixed that DO NOT share this same wall) because the sea wall at this property was not built properly nor being repaired in the proper way, According to the professionals, the cost of doing it correctly was a point of contention. Douglas county couldn't cough up the ten grand and the owner wasn't either. The line would continue to break each time the waves got rough. One worker commented, "I can't believe they rented this place out." 2. We did not store ALL of our belongings in the garage. We spent 2 days cleaning out the house of 2/3 of our belongings which we crammed into 2 hotel rooms for 5 people. Only the things we couldn't fit stayed in the garage because we couldn't afford another room and Brandon was not interested in covering any of the costs of our move. As no one could use the property, this wasn't an inconvenience to anyone While my husband and I moved belongings and threw away the food and meals we had bought and prepared, my son used the wi-fi to take his online college course. The hotel only had an unsecure connection. We only left some supplements and medicine in the fridge until our departure day. We did not use the fridge other than storage. We had wanted to use the Marla Bay beach to at least be able to swim in the lake, but the codes were changed. My husband *had* asked to sit on the back porch, but everything was a negotiation (nothing was done with kindness) and the house was just a reminder of how awful the trip had turned out. We didn't do that either. 3. We DID NOT stay there for 5 uninterrupted nights before the line broke. It was 4 (details should be accurate) and included , as it has every year, cleaning bathrooms, dishes, utensils, and glasses. To think that including the cleaning deposit in the refund we waited 8 days for was some act of benevolence is laughable. 4. He did print my husband a check. I guess he can celebrate that truth. It was the day before we left and he had tried to postpone the meeting twice because he's busy. He threw an unfeeling "sorry" over his shoulder as my husband left. We cashed the check that day because of our experience. We have never been treated with the indifference that Brandon showed us. We have been staying in Tahoe for 20 years. Sixteen of those years were with other agencies. We know Tahoe is wonderful. We know what other agencies are capable of just as we now see what Brandon is capable of. I'm sure he'll send my husband another text. If Brandon had spent the time and energy to take care of his renters that he has spent responding to bad reviews, he may not get bad reviews. BTW. The helpful score below is from my friends who know me to tell the truth.

Other than the two bathrooms, the amenities included mini fridge, safe, bar/vanity area. A big couch. No outlets in the bathroom. I used the bar area as the vanity to plug in my flat iron. The beds were not comfortable. It sinks in the middle. I literally slept on the very edge of the bed and my body still sank towards the middle. Parking is $30 a night. If you're Diamond status and up, it's free. There are two parking machines to feed your ticket by the stairs. You can also feed it at the gate when you leave. Best to do it beforehand in case your card needs assistance. The location is central and walking distance to everything. CVS is outside on the main street to pick up water or what you left at home. You can get coffee at Starbucks downstairs in the lobby or outside next to CVS called Noel's. Access to Ceasar Republic is connected underground to go across the street. You can casino hop very easily. The casino itself is out dated and small that the air circulated with cigarette smell. I had my mask on but the cigarettes were so strong.

However, the initial booking challenges, due to the six-month advance requirement, we had to book two reservations. We so loved our initial spot for three days, and while the second location was just okay, the proximity to the lake--only five minutes away--made up for it. We book travel with our dog in mind and this resort offers a beautiful, dog-friendly beach section that offers ample space and a relaxed atmosphere. Our dog loved it. Nothing like the entire family at the beach. Of course-Always leave -no trace behind. The resort's amenities like paddle board, kayak, boat, and jet ski rentals are a great addition. Nice to see the many options. We, however- prefer bringing our own water toys. The stunning sunsets, shallow swimming areas, and crystal-clear water made for an idyllic retreat. Sodas we $2 and the microwaveable foods were $6 plus dollars for the very same food sold in stores for half the cost. The price gouging was absurd. Now the complementary breakfast was terrible. Paper thin over cooked bacon with under cooked sliced potatoes that were un seasoned. The powder eggs were not even recognizable. Our mini fridge and TV had been unplugged and I asked for help to see what was wrong. Desk clerk said unplug the TV then plug it back in and it should work. Well that obviously was wrong. I had to pull the whole counter and desk out to get to the DC outlet noticing that they were just unplugged. As a handicapped guest I shouldn't have to figure no repair anything. We had no choice we we snowed in. Spare yourself the money and drive past this place..

The townhomes are beautiful and have 3 levels. I see they've made some improvements- probably based on families. The stairs are steep, so with two kids running around, it can be nerve wrecking. I saw they added nice child gates to the top of their sets of stairs. In the townhomes, you have 3 levels and 2 patios: one patio on the second floor (living area with a half bath) with an egg chair and table setting. The third level is the bed space and that patio has the soaking tub and a little seating area. Their main bathroom is huge- beautiful modern shower with a huge soaking tub for two. The soaking tub takes some agility getting in and out, but is nice and deep and has jets. It takes a while to fill up, but once it does, it's really relaxing. We love how both walls next to the sliding glass doors on both levels have a see thru fireplace. Such a cute, romantic detail that's nice to have running while you're relaxing. The heated floors in the bathroom are an added perk. Oh! And you get your own garage- even though you still have to access the home from outside the garage. They are incredible accommodating. They have a list of things offered on request like kids toys, hygiene kits, ironing board, etc. They get added points for having those really expensive amazing Dyson hair dryers as their hair drying option too It's one of our favorite places to stay!

The remodel is beautiful. Shopping Lots of restaurants, ranging from high-end to food counters,(they have a Carvel! Harrah's is right across the street, and you can walk between the properties without ever stepping outside. I was checked in by PJ, so friendly, conversational, and helpful. She was awesome. I got an upgrade to a Lakeview room. It was more of a partial Lake view, but still it was nice. Even at full price, it would be worth it.... The room was very large, and clean. there was a full walk-in shower, the TV had a great picture with a lot of channels, and of course movies for rent, plenty of places to charge my gear, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well. There is a fridge, but no microwave. My biggest problem, is the nickel and diming. Unless you have "status", there's that ubiquitous resort fee. If you book with the Caesar's app/webpage, it is built into the price, other than taxes. Parking... if you are military or a veteran, you can get a military players card, and that will waive your parking fee. The room's mini bar. Six bucks for a 12 ounce Pepsi? 10 bucks for a small bag of pretzels or a snack size can of Pringles? And if you want something with alcohol, , FUHGEDDABOUDIT!!! Grab some snacks or whatever you want before you get here, and just use the fridge. There's even a dollar tree just a few minutes away. Finally, the Wi-Fi. Basic Wi-Fi, up to 10 MBPS is free, up to four devices. If you want enhanced Wi-Fi, it's eight bucks a day, per... Device.... I just stayed with the basic Wi-Fi. The speed was enough to stream video. Other than the nickel and diming, it was a fantastic stay. . If I could get a good rate, I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Figured the app was just having a moment and would just book in person (after all I had COMP NIGHTS). After numerous phone calls I was given other "offers" ranging from $119 a night to $29 a night, NOT INCLUDING RESORT FEES, ETC. What a waste of time!! Do better Caesars! King bed with a bunkbed twin on top and full on bottom. It was spacious for us. It was clean and we had plenty of towels. The lodge is located about 15 mins away from Heavenly Village area. There was and not much street traffic and it was quite. Breakfast ends at 10:30. They have 2 waffle makers, drip coffee, coffee/hot chocolate machine, various breads and bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and some other drinks. Definitely very happy with our stay.
