It was fresh and generous. There was a long wait for the main dishes, and unfortunately the server brought our friend deep fried seafood instead of the grilled method. I confess I didn't catch how she ordered it, but we have lunched with her dozens of times and she is precise in her selections. My lasagna was good and my wife had no complaints about the burger plate. The half-sour pickle that came with it she ceded to me to join what we brought home for a second meal. Of course, the seafood trio had to be redone grilled, so she had the side dishes. The replacement seafood came as we were finishing up, so she had it boxed up and ate it during the half-hour drive home. She did say it was excellent, however. It wasn't ideal, obviously, between the long wait and the wrong cooking method, but I expect both were one-time issues. The train runs every Wednesday, but I imagine its effect upon business varies from week to week and is therefore hard to plan for. And as for the incorrect order, well, things happen. Same for buttered lobster roll, just the right amount of clarified butter as a binder. No need to overpower the fresh delicate flavor of tender cold water lobster from Maine waters.
