I'm still bummed I completely forgot to try the beer cheese with anything because I've heard such good things about it. I ordered the smoked brisket patty melt, which was really good, although I have to admit Grammy's Breakfast BLT looked even better. I mainly committed to the patty melt because I wanted something that came with those truffle fries! Our table also tried the breakfast potatoes, skillet, Farmer's Breakfast, tacos, and Breakfast BLT, and I think the tacos and BLT were probably the winners of the table. Service was great, everyone was really nice, and the restaurant itself is super cute. It was a really fun place to celebrate with the family, and I'd definitely go back. Let's get into it: the patties are a proprietary blend of chuck, short rib, and brisket. Locally sourced! Cooked/smashed perfectly, full of flavor. The edges were crispy and fried while the insides were full of juice! The onions were sliced so thin and cooked so perfectly and absorbed the meat juice so well you might not even notice they're in there if you aren't looking for them the bun is potato, which for all my real burgerheads out there, is the best bun for smash burgers. Perfect bread to meat ratio, and the flavor matches excellently with the burger juices it absorbs. The fries were fresh and battered nicely, but I couldn't finish all of them after devouring the burger. But they were good enough I was still snacking on them while finishing my beer on a completely full stomach! this place is awesome check it out!

My wife and I decided to try the pub, so the three of us went for lunch. My dog was in a down stay under the table when our waitress greeted us and gave us menus. She then went into the kitchen. When she came out she, embarrassingly, told us that my dog was not welcomed there. I told her that is a service dog that helps me with my PTSD. The waitress went back into the kitchen, then returned telling me the owner didn't care, and that the dog had to leave. I left and went home and filed complaints with both the US Department of Justice, and the Americans with Disabilities organization. I'm getting ready to call them both and see where we are at. Once charges are filed against them, I'll do a follow up and let everyone know. This business tries to act like it is veteran friendly, but this owner proved the she is not.

I always have such a good experience at this spot. Recently I came in with my son's hockey team and parents. We are a very large crew with loud, rowdy boys. The staff handled everything so great. I was so impressed by how the kitchen and the wait staff handled everything, I know they had to have been overwhelmed with our large group in an already was so packed restaurant. The only downside coming to this wonderful restaurant is parking. I had to park two streets over and walking on icy and snowy sidewalks was not pleasant.
