A year later, I still hadn't heard from him, so I called, then visited the shop. He had replaced the heel caps on three of the shoes, but had not replaced the boot zippers nor had he repaired the sandal straps. He had no interest in repairing my remaining shoes - A year wasted.

When I brought them in, the person who took my order, said it would be 7 to 10 days until they're done. That's where the runaround started. I called on day seven to see if they were done. The individual at the counter said it can sometimes take 2 to 3 weeks. I said they told me 7 to 10 days when I dropped them off. He came back after taking my ticket number and told me it would be 2 to 3 more days. On day 12 I called and they still weren't done. The person who answered the phone said they had been shipped off to the factory and they weren't even in the store. I told him that's not at all what my understanding was I was when I dropped them off. I understood they would be done in the house and it would be 7 to 10 days. Then he said 7 to 10 BUSINESS days. I told him we were at 12 business days, with 10 of those being business days. Then the story changed again. He said it would take longer because the holidays. Once again, first heard that there was any delay due to the holidays. On day 14, I went into the store. The guy took my ticket and spent about 3 1/2 minutes looking for my boots. They were still being stretched. He said to come back tomorrow. I told him I was leaving and I wouldn't be there tomorrow. He said come back in one hour. I came back in an hour and the boots were done. They looked really good. They fit really well, too. This is where I'm conflicted. The customer service is absolutely terrible. It's probably the worst customer service, I've had any place I've been in a very long time. Whoever's answering the phone has absolutely no clue what's going on in that store. But, the boots were actually pretty good when I got them. The price was reasonable as well. All this to say, because the boots turned out pretty well, that brought on from zero stars to one star. I will never ever go back to this location. It's not worth it to me to deal with the customer service. If you can wait, and don't min abhorrent customer service, this may be your place!

I have been about as patient as I can be. I told him he has a week, which will be October 25,2023. He will either have them done next week or I'm getting my boots back that won't be wearable. The shop made lasts of each foot, designed the boot to accommodate my fused ankle. Elephant bottoms, dark blue goat tops. Wearing them for work, they looked like high end Italian dress shoes in my three piece suit. The day I picked them up, I missed Dolly Parton by 30 minutes as she, too, was there for the final fitting on her show boots.Lasted for many years of total comfort. My toe finally wore a hole in the side of the boot. I miss them every day. They were the best ever.
