He helped decide on best colors to use and was patient with all my uncertainties. He is a thorough and hard worker, knowledgeable in his craft (being a 3rd generation painter) who I trusted implicitly. He was also very fairly priced. Since we changed from a traditional red tile roof when a new one was needed, we chose a more modern look. Matt was spot on with his recommendations. Highly recommend him. read more

Still awesome. We decided it was time to switch to paint on the shingles and it came out great!

We've had a full front yard overhaul and the last thing to do was paint. Mike was recommended to me from a friend and I have nothing negative to say about him. He just finished today and I can't stop looking at my house. He did a fantastic job and left everything clean and when I wasn't sure about something he talked me through it. He took almost 4 days and you can tell him and his helper took their time and paid attention to details. You don't even need to get a second quote, he's very fair and a real nice guy!! Mike and his son Matt came out and took the right amount of time to reviewed the work I needed done on the interior of my house, and discuss the details I wanted. They gave me a very fair quote, and stuck to it. Matt did the entire job, he arrived on time, kept us abreast of where he was on the project and was very professional and just plain nice. Everything looks great, they even came up with a solution for a very old deck I have that gave me that gave it couple more years of life. The solution required allot of research, completely done by Matt. It looks great and I have time to save for that new deck! This review isn't based on work done recently by the Ridolfi Team, it's based on their recent willingness to help a long-time customer through a near-disaster. Let me explain... I've have had the Ridolfi's paint our Tri-Valley business many times over the past 10 years. Always great work. During the Alameda County Covid-19 'shut-down' I decided to touch-up paint myself to make the most of our down-time. My mistake-I used the wrong paint color to do the touch-ups! (I know, I know...stupid mistake!) I reached out to Chelsea and Matt Ridolfi and asked if they had the name/color of the correct paint so I could try to find it and fix my error. To my surprise they replied within minutes, even though they are shut-down too! When we realized they couldn't help over the phone Matt & Chelsea offered to stop by and help me figure it all out. Within an hour they were at our business. Matt called Kelly Moore and ordered me a can of paint right then. By the end of the day I had the walls painted with the CORRECT color! I'm writing this review so you know that working with small and local businesses earns relationships like this, people willing to stop-by and help their customers. Huge thanks to Chelsea and Matt Ridolfi for saving my day and going above and beyond. I cannot recommend Mike Ridolfi highly enough. He takes the time to make sure that you are going to be happy with what the finished job will look like. We were very unsure as to what color combination we wanted on our home in Livermore. Mike came over and met us at a time that worked for us and drove us all over and could identify the colors on other houses in the neighborhood and make sure we were happy with our choices. The exterior turned out beautiful. When we had him repaint most of the interior and once again his advice on colors was right on and his prices were very fair. I have to agree with the previous reviewer; I cannot recommend Mike highly enough! After buying an older home this past year we were really in need of new paint throughout, but had no clue where to start with selecting colors, nor did we have the time to do it ourselves. Mike was patient and came out to help us select colors and put up samples on the walls to make sure that the colors we wanted would look okay. His prices were competitive, and his professionalism top-notch. His team was very thorough in painting throughout the house, making sure along the way that it was exactly what we wanted, and they did it in a timely fashion. Mike and his son, Matt, spray-painted the ceilings of a rental property, and it involved a lot of prep-work, hanging plastic sheeting in all of the rooms, etc. They worked very efficiently and did a thorough job on the ceilings without any problems. Back in July after getting a few recommendations from others I called Mike to give me a quote to paint the interior of my home. Mike stopped by the house and helped us select paint colors. Never got a written quote that should have been my first clue. The job was going to take 3 days and Mike had to reschedule us to paint a soccer field, this should have been my second clue. Mike and his son did an OK job on the flat paint areas but rushed thru getting the door and trim work done. I inspected the work each day I came home just to find several quality issues like runs /drips, missing paint areas and drips on the flooring. I tag each area with some blue painters tape and his son came back to take care of them about half of them were touched up. Mike did not remove and hardware from the doors and door jams and wanted to brush/roll the interior doors, I wanted to have them removed and sprayed. After some trial and error Mike told me it was going to be another $700 to spray the doors and because he didn't plan the job for 3 days we got squeezed out after 2 days due to another job Mike had planned. So I ended up touching up the left over problem areas. I removed the doors myself and spraying them add new hardware and boom they look great. read more
