They are patient and really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and that you understand safety and what you're doing and make everything really easy. When you get there you complete your registration and rent a lane. Then you can either use your own firearm, eye and ear protection, and ammunition or you can rent or purchase everything. You can rent handguns and various semi-auto rifles for a flat rate plus ammunition, or you can rent automatics or belt fed machine guns by buying magazines or belts, no flat rental rate required. It can all add up pretty quickly but overall the rates and prices are reasonable. I had a great time, my favorite was firing the Thompson submachine gun on full auto, and will definitely be back for the M1!

I had issues getting the Buy 1, Get 1, 50% Off Sale applied to my purchase and then had to wait additional time to get my husband's Military Discount. Regardless, it was a good deal, so I came back to get 2 more Shorts the following day. When it was time to pay, there was no issue applying the sale, but we noticed the amounts didn't match when they should've been the same . Nick was able to see that in the previous purchase only a 5% and not a 10% Military Discount had been applied, so he made the necessary adjustments. I didn't even have to ask, he just made it right. I was able to purchase a pistol, a few magazines and a few boxes of ammo at a good price (under $1000 for everything). They have a wide range of ammunition and from the looks of it one might think ammogeddon is over. After filling out the paperwork, the background check process was very quick (it only took 30 minutes!), but I may have just gotten lucky. Unfortunately I was unable to find one item but the staff was very helpful by pointing me to another store that had the item in stock. Overall my experience at Hi-Cap was very pleasant and I would definitely do business with them again in the future.

This shop uses deceptive verbal bait-and-switch tactics to scam inexperienced buyers…read more The salesperson explicitly asked my mom if she wanted a Glock Gen 4 or Gen 5, but after she chose a Gen 4, he handed her an older Gen 3 while quietly writing "Gen 3" on the paperwork to cover their tracks. The physical gun clearly proves the lie: it has no Gen 4 slide stamp, a tiny up-and-down mag release, and the old finger-groove bubble grip. Management even admitted it's a Gen 3 and claimed they don't even sell Gen 4s, proving their associates actively lie about inventory to upcharge and scam people. When called out, they refused to run the serial number or fix the issue, hiding behind the paperwork they used to trick her. We have no reason to make this up; if we got what we asked for, we would have gone about our lives. They are dishonest scammers--do not shop here!
