My wife and I came to Rigos taco last night because she was craving tacos. So she placed her order over the phone before we left to pick it up. The parking where this place is at is horrible because its very limited and small. This place is also not in the best of area because when we came on a Friday night, some cars that were parked in front of the place was doing some kind of shady business deal. Since there was no parking, my wife stayed in the car and I went inside to pick up the order. My wife got three carne asada tacos and my sister asked for lengua taco. You pack your own salsa and sauce for your to go order so be aware of that. The cups for the sauces and sides are so small. Customer service here was great when I came to pick up the food. The cook greeted me politely and the lady packed up my food. They charge a credit card fee here so be aware. My wife enjoyed her carne asada and my sister liked her lengua taco. I likely wouldn't come back thought because parking is just so bad and there better taco options near me with better parking. read more

I'm sorry the pastor tacos were gross, I couldn't eat them, I had to toss them in the trash. I got the taco special with a drink, first the meat was chewy and it was more onions than meat. Nice things, they give you a few chips with beans that wasn't bad at all. And the salsas were ok. Been to this location twice, and both times I've had a pleasant experience. Parking can be a little complicated but we haven't had any problems finding a spot thus far. The food is awesome. The first time I was there I got a wet burrito and the wife got a menudo. This second time around I decided to go with a regular asada burrito and 2 beef taquitos. Both options were filling and a hit. I especially like that they'll throw in a few chips with refried beans on top. Their salsa bar is a huge plus. They have green, red salsa (I personally didnt like it, too spicy it prevents you from really enjoying your food), grilled onions, grilled jalapeno peppers, even beans for those that dine in (frijoles de la olla) that is. They have plenty of tables for people to sit. Looks clean and while we were eating I saw a guy come and wiped down some tables. Ambiance is relaxing and enjoyable. Service wise, I'd say they keep it professional and cordial. Although food does come out fairly quick, which is always cool. Especially when one is starving. Their aguas frescas are good also. Prices, I find to be a bit on the high side, but nowadays it's like that everywhere. A chilaquiles combos was nearly $18 bucks but then again, everything has gone up now. May return soon to try their asada fries and asada nachos. Their decor is on point too. They have a huge map of Mexico painted on the main wall with two other paintings. I ordered an asada burrito, the problem is that the meat was far away from being "asada" meat, was more like ground beef, I didn't like it, if I ordered and paid for "asada", that's what I expect, so you get bad quality ground beef or whatever it was for the price of "asada", which is not. Also the cashier gave me less change back, I had to ask for the rest and she didn't like it, the worst thing it's that later when I checked the change again it was still wrong, two options, she doesn't know maths or they keep change on purpose. My boyfriend's fav is their Torta de asada, plus if you dine in they give you a complimentary side of chips with their amazing refried beans. Only gave this place three stars because of nostalgia, lol. I would not recommend it to friends or family. That said, my family has been coming here for decades due to the convenience of this location and the force of habit. I get the occasional steak burrito w/ they're super, super, super spicy red hot sauce that burns the other end of things, if you know what I mean, the next day, and their yummy beans and chips. They charge extra for the beans and chips, and they're super salty, but again, nostalgia. Still trying to figure out how they've passed their food safety and quality ratings because that's questionable. Although we always feel a little sick afterward, we genuinely believe their fire red hot sauce kills whatever parasites are in the food because none of us have had food poisoning from here in a while, haha. My family also has a running joke about their meat because their meat is SERIOUSLY iffy. Regardless, they have plenty of customers with such a busy neighborhood; pretty sure no matter how low quality, people will not stop coming here, including my family, because of nostalgic reasons and where they're located. What a wonderful small Mexican restaurant. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We do not speak Spanish and they made us feel very comfortable. Huge menu of all the Mexican favorites to choose from however I heard they are famous for their tacos, and I can validate that. They have a nice salsa bar where you can load up on the accessories, chili, onions and cilantro. And all the walls are beautifully painted with incredible Mexican artwork so many different colors it's truly breathtaking. My nachos were cooked perfectly and the serving was very healthy. My wife's tacos were also up to par tasted perfect. We will be returning when we're back in the valley and hungry for more yummy goodness. read more

Worst service ever! The older lady who works at the register always has an attitude problem, never helpful and constantly rolling her eyes. We ordered 2 items and she charged us for 3 claiming we asked for 3 of the same item there was only 2 of us in the restaurant.. why would we order another portion of the same meal???!!! Moved into the neighborhood so I wanted to try this place. A friend came with me and he orders the carnitas plate, it was tough,chewy and just inedible. I was so hoping still for a good chile relleno, but that inexplicably was just a grilled up burnt pepper not even breaded, and the cheese was horribly melted and burnt too.
