I came here to order some slices to dine in. The cashiers were rude and unwelcoming. I asked for some plates, forks and knives (a reasonable request when dining in) and while I was 2 feet away one of the cashiers said to the other "who eats pizza with a fork and knife and plate?" That employee then instructed her to talk in Spanish if you want to talk shitty about the customers. Why treat your customers like crap? The pizza wasn't even hot and the slices are child sized. Pizza is great. Don't go beyond that. The wings are dinky and pathetic. But so are most places around here so getting wings in Norwalk has become an entirely pointless endeavor. Crust used to hold it down but they've joined the same dinkiness as these. Wish I got a pic. I ask for a manager and the same moron says there is no manager. Then somehow a manager named Kat gets on the phone and apologizes for the moron. Kat says she will refund it and apologizes profusely. Then a moron named Andrea calls and says that the order is NOT late and that another manager is actually delivering it. I thought there was NO manager! I'm updating my review because I feel that Riko's has gone downhill since they first opened. The salads are just awful these days and the pizza, while not horrible, just doesn't seem as good as it was when they had just opened. If you're in the mood for the type of pizza you'd get at Colony then it's a decent enough substitution if you can't actually get to Colony (hence the three stars), but I strongly suggest avoiding the salads, they just seem to be much worse than the first couple times we ordered them. read more

Awesome. Colony-style pizza without the 'tude. And they actually pick up the phone. I love it when the playing field gets leveled. (Am I using that phrase right? Probably not) The point I'm trying to make is I don't have to deal with a rude staff and awful parking anymore! When I heard that a new kid in Norwalk was "duplicating" the Colony-experience I needed to test this theory. Riko's Pizza originally opened in the same neighborhood as Colony and many claimed "foul." But for me, it was less about the ownership of "The Recipe" and more about the product. Others agree, since Riko's has expanded to a second location on Newfield and a third location on Main Street in Norwalk. After a couple of Riko's pies I am glad they have a location near my office as well as nearer the house. Both offer the same quality pizza...delicious. Those from the Norwalk and the Newfield locations are twin sons of different ovens. The pies are baked in high rimmed pans, reminiscent of the Chicago deep dish pan. The dough is stretched to the circumference and then topped a little sauce, and then you design the rest from almost 30 different toppings (Colony has twelve to choose from). I consistently stay basic with pepperoni, sausage and hot oil, hey if it ain't broke don't fix it. The thin crust was nicely crisped, not cracker and stilled maintained a degree of pliability. The sauce and cheese were delicious and the pepperoni and sausage were both excellent. Then the hot oil kicked in and this was an overall fantastic pie. Just make sure you have a ton of napkins since the pie is oily by itself and then adding the hot oil raises it to another level. If you do not want to make the trip Colony in Stamford (let'snot get into the Fairfield location), you will be just as happy with the pies at Rikos, just remember there is no seating so all of these pies are take-aways. read more

Girl pictured wasn't helpful at all couldn't even provide proof of a void. Only Colony from now on. Screw Riko's. Go for the best the original and that's Colony. read more

Rikos. Sweet sweet Rikos. You are the love of my life. My boyfriend and I order from Rikos on average twice a month, and it would be a lot more, but we've been trying to curb our addiction to the pizza. The hot oil is our favourite. It is probably most people's fav. This is the thin crust life blood that gives me a reason to wake up in the morning. If I could give zero stars I would. This store has completely fallen apart. Placed an order directly to the store, somehow it ends up being delivered by doordash instead of the store itself even though the order was placed on their website. The delivery person brings only the pizza, not our sides & shows me the copy of what the store sent with only having pizza on it, complete opposite of what my order says. My tracker with the Riko's store also has it listed as the order is still being made, which is next to impossible considering it's at my house. I've called for almost 3 hours now to get ahold of a live person at the store, not a single response. Every prompt I hit tells me the extension is not reachable. So now I've paid for food I don't have, have cold pizza, had my food delivered by a 3rd party with no information about them doing so, just had a random DoorDash text that they were coming & can't even get ahold of a live person. To preface it - we used to love Rikos at the old location. It would be a 1 star but they ended up not making me pay for the redone pie so it's 2. They gave us one wrong pie and the cheese pie was uncooked. I brought just the cheese back because they knew they made the wrong other pie. They're then giving me shit for not bringing the other pie back to them... if you f*ck up an order, as any restaurant, and you're aware of it - you don't ask them to bring the food back. That's the customer's reward for your mistake. It's simple restaurant practice that they don't seem to understand as the guy in the back came out front and was giving me shit for it. I was baffled but even offered to pay but they said no, then continued to give me shit for it. I continued to offer to pay. "No." But continue to give me shit. I think they just wanted a free meal out of their own mistake. Girl at the front was sweet, though. The food is usually great - 4 stars generally - but that service was terrible. THE NORWALK Location has the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! In particular there is a woman that works at the Norwalk location that answers the phone and is always rude and not interested in providing customer service. Unlike the Stamford location, the Norwalk location is staffed with individuals that really don't care about customer service and delivering a quality and flavorful pizza to delivery customers. Don't bother complaining about anything as you will be met with a team that does not understand or appreciate the concept of resolving customer complaints and issues. Clearly, this location could use some professional training with an emphasis on telephone based customer service and problem resolution. This pizza is in a word - Terrible. Thin, soggy, and otherwise undefinable. They ought to be ashamed on themselves for charging what they charge for it. Not to mention that the Norwalk store front looks like a booky-joint - and their interaction with you is less than superb ( the order taker offered the same degree of engagement you would expect from a DMV clerk) . Riko's pizza is a popular pizza chain in Norwalk and the CT region. They serve thin crust pizza and the pies are small compared to average. I've had their vegetarian, pepperoni, and plain cheese pies. The cheese is nicely blended into the thin crust but there isn't much sauce to be honest so overall, the pizza is a bit dry in my opinion. Nonetheless, it still tastes good and it's very affordable. I've also had their salad which is fresh and a nice compliment to the pizza. Overall, the taste is better than the large delivery chains in my opinion which is why I prefer it over something like Domino's. read more

Got pizza and wings delivered to my hotel from here and was extremely disappointed. The pizza looked super crispy and thin in the pictures but in all actuality, it's all soggy and falls apart because the toppings are too heavy for the crust or the crust is too flimsy for the toppings. This pizza has had a HUGE amount of hype in newspaper articles, etc mentioning how Riko's has the secret of the Colony recipe, etc etc. As a long time enthusiast of great pizza, this falls SADLY short. I'm a fan of Colony and many other worthy pie places in CT and the only thing Riko's has in common with Colony is the thin crust--the sauce, cheese, and prepartauion here at Riko's are much much inferior. Not to mention, the Norwalk facility has a dirty floor and smells when you enter. I was So hoping this place would be better but it's not. Ordered a pie over the phone (Norwalk Location) when i went to go pick it up they said they gave it away to someone else by accident and told me he would make a new one and give me a discount for having to wait an extra 10 minuets. My favorite spot in the area for pizza takeout. Great prices and the pizza is fantastic. It's thin crust with the perfect balance of cheese and sauce. My favorite is their buffalo chicken, but I also LOVE the hot oil. I really haven't been disappointed with any flavors - the meatball is also delicious. The way the pizza is prepared is a lot like Colony. They only offer one size, which is on the smaller side and can make ordering with groups a bit difficult, but it's a small price to pay for their excellent pizza! read more

These guys just opened up a shop across from my office near exit 14 on Connecticut Ave. It used to be an excellent deli called Victoria's which I miss dearly. Anyway, I thought I'd stop in and give this place a shot. I've never been to any of their other locations. I looked at the menu and noticed it was a bit pricey. I ordered a small chicken ceasar salad which came to $10.61 after tax. I took it to go. I dug into it an hour later and I'm sad to say that it was terrible.
