I presumed there would be a charge for labor. Nope! Landon informed me that it took him longer than normal because the bridge was dusty and needed to be cleaned off. He did that also. We…read morecome here for a trombone lesson with Randal Ruback .my daughter had been taking lessons with him since she's a sophomore , it had been almost 2 years since she started and she had already accomplished so many things . . She had no experience playing trombone , but after 2 months , she had learned well that she passed the audition to be in Jazz 1 at Glacier peak High school. Last February 2025, , 7 months since she started , she won the MPMEA solo Regionals and competed in states and got the highest score from all 3 judges . Mr. Ruback is very patient and thorough , he's very focused on creating a perfect sound . He's very kind and he really cares about his students , we had met several of his students and most of them won and competed in State , and some of them got full scholarship at the university they went to . We are very grateful to Mr. Ruback . He's an excellent teacher. We are very lucky to have him . We highly recommend him.

The Martin Jr in stock was hanging with the other guitars was ready to play & she set me up to try it out. They had a good selection Martin accessories including a good assortment of guitar strings including the Martin brand so I also bought a spare set of the Martin LifeSpan Phosphor Bronze Light strings. I was short on time so did not get a chance to fully take in the ambience & experience of Dan & Sara's music store, but reading up on Crossroads before hand on their website & stepping into their store, I felt the warm embrace of some good vibes, and appreciate their community involvement in local music events in this very charming waterfront town. I like contributing to local businesses so I not only walked away with a very nice Martin acoustic electric guitar, it felt rewarding to give back. I have recently been inspired to play again and found that it was difficult to keep the guitar in tune.
