The restaurant is decently sized, very spacious, and offers plenty of indoor seating. We were seated right away and ordered from the lunch special menu. I had the Pad Prig-Sod with fried tofu and my husband ordered Combo # 2 Sashimi Combo. Food was delivered by robot, which was a fun touch. My soup was tasty, spring roll was average, and the entrée was just okay. The fried rice was bland--just rice and egg. When my husband's order arrived, we noticed the rice was missing. The waiter explained it was an error on the menu and that the dish doesn't come with rice, but offered to bring some if he wanted. If that's the case, the menu should be corrected so customers aren't misled. Maybe if you're wanting sushi or sashimi, this is the place. This place is close to where I used to live in Miami and went with family and friends for dinner--no wait and the service was great. My boyfriend and I visited on a Sunday around 4:00p for a late lunch and it was very quiet, not busy at all. We were sat immediately and tended to very graciously by the host as well as the server. The menu is very eclectic with traditional Japanese and Thai dishes. The food tasted fresh and priced fairly for your typical sushi/Thai establishment in Miami. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Being that this is not just a sushi restaurant I was a bit Nervous the sushi would not be that great and I was wrong. The fish was great tasting and fresh. My favorite was the white tuna and yellowtail. The spider roll I ordered was great too. The only thing I wish they had were raw scallops and rolls with more raw fish options. I did not see anything with spice like my normally spicy salmon roll, which I was craving. But what I ordered was still good enough. The Yelp pictures can give you an idea. They serve Thai and Vietnamese as well as Japanese. So you get a variety of Asian Cuisine. This is what I ordered on my first visit so far: - Gyoza from the starters menu. (This was four pork dumplings served with a ponzu sauce and they offer them either fried or steam. I was recommended the crunchy) - My wife got the Happy Ending Sushi Roll. (Fried fish, masago and tobiko fishes, avocado, cucumber, topped with tuna tatar, and tempura flakes) - Gang Ka-Ree (yellow chicken curry, this came with potatoes besides the normal coconut milk, onions and a side or white rice) I really wish I had more room but the happy ending roll was the tallest roll I've ever consumed. There is definitely quality here in addition to quantity. Met up with some friends for a birthday lunch. It was actually quite busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Despite this, we were promptly greeted, seated and serviced. They have the robotic server, which is a nice touch and adds to the "entertainment" aspect of this place. We tried a variety of different dishes including their steamed gyozas, tartare , Thai lunch specials and the lychee martinis. Everything was great, well seasoned and flavored. came across this place while looking for some pho. I have to agree with other reviews that it was good, but the broth was very bland, almost as if they didn't care to season it. The meat was pleasant, and the vegetables were fresh. The service was good. Gyoza were definitely frozen store bought because when I got mine, there were pieces that were difficult to chew. Almost like frostbite. But looking around at other people's plates, they looked amazing, like curry and sushi, so I probably got their least popular dish. The tea is something you have never had before it is very sweet - I would say it's evaporated milk with tea and the combo can be addictive. Tuna tower was crunchy and fresh , both rolls very fresh seafood and great sauce. The Loco has crab salad in the middle with tempura flakes with shrimp. The Butterfly has salmon ; Chicken satay was delicious with coconut flavor and a peanut dipping sauce. My hubby and I were driving around trying to find something different for dinner last night and came upon this jewel. I am a huge sushi fan! We had not tried any sushi places yet. This one is excellent and the service was also great. Everything here is a la cart so you don't get the soup and salad with your meal but my salad with ginger was worth an extra $5 and was a nice size. Lettuce was crisp and fresh and it has lots of thin carrot curls on top. Sushi rolls run from around $8 to $20 and I opted for the Spider Roll for $12 and the American Dream Roll for $12. Both were delicious and fresh. Hubby had Spicy beef with rice extra spicy and it was just right for him...burn your mouth to me. Lol We both had a soda and hubby was flat and our waitress noticed he didn't drink any and got him fresh one right away. Very attentive staff. Our total bill $52 plus tip. We didn't want pho, and ate sushi the night before so this night we really wanted to go for Thai, which is one of our favorite Asian cuisines. Rin is a Thai restaurant which is located on 137th Ave. and 120th St. at London Square so it's very close to our house. This is our third time going there, so I definitely had to review it. It was a Sunday night and surprisingly enough there was nobody there. This is very weird because there ARE NOT many great restaurants in West Kendall, and I don't understand why people wouldn't take the chance of eating delicious Thai food. I guess people don't wanna get out of their comfort zone of eating the same monotonous stuff every weekend. Anyway, we were seated quickly, and proceeded to order the curries and soup we wanted. The Tom Kha which is a coconut milk-based soup was too bitter so I asked the manager and it was quickly improved. My medium spicy masaman curry was right on point, had a lot of peanuts, and the curry itself was mildly sweet and delicious. The potatoes were a bit undercooked but that's alright. He also brought the additional rice I requested at no charge. The ambiance is nice, very clean, well lit (I've been to some places that are so dark you can barely see the menu), and is a family run establishment. This is real Thai food, and there's also sushi for those who aren't into Thai cuisine. You even see beautiful masks and 4 portraits of the King of Thailand at the entrance. The Crazy Roll was fun and tasty. The Nam Sod was probably the best I've had in a very long time. The balance of all flavors was on point. The only thing keeping this place from realizing its full potential is the lackluster service. It wasn't bad, but I also didn't feel like our server wanted to be there. There was more personality coming from the really cool robot wandering around the restaurant delivering dishes. Definitely coming back here. Decided to have date night with the hubby here last Friday night. I have been here before with my don for their Thai donuts but I myself had never dine there. From the moment we walked in my husband loved it. It was cozy, not busy at all, great service. We opted for a sushi boat, pad Thai, a coconut milk and line soup(I loved it but hubby didn't) but that's ok as we all have different tastes and likes. And of course for dessert their Thai donuts with condense milk and a little bit of chocolate syrup to make the smiling face. The soup was delicious, ingredients were coconut milk, lime juice, lime grass , mushrooms.
