#5Combo sushi with soup and salad
    Suzette C.

Mom and I shared the Japanese bento box #5 which had sushi, sashimi (tuna, white, salmon), tempura vegetables, salad with ginger dressing and miso soup. This was yummy! To round it off was the Thai chicken ginger with rice and that was just as yummy and a great lunch to share with my mom. We thought we'd take home some but we finished it all because it was so tasty.

I liked the decor in here. Service was efficient. The sushi was our favorite choice out of the three dishes we tried. I did not particularly like the sauce that came with The Duck dish. It tasted weird ie like cinnamon. Normally I adore all duck dishes I try so I was really disappointed.

My boyfriend and I visited on a Sunday around 4:00p for a late lunch and it was very quiet, not busy at all. We were sat immediately and tended to very graciously by the host as well as the server. The menu is very eclectic with traditional Japanese and Thai dishes. The food tasted fresh and priced fairly for your typical sushi/Thai establishment in Miami. The interior is modern with really cool Thai sculptures and decor, LOTS of seating inside. Good vibes, I wonder if it gets busier at night.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Being that this is not just a sushi restaurant I was a bit Nervous the sushi would not be that great and I was wrong. The fish was great tasting and fresh. My favorite was the white tuna and yellowtail. The spider roll I ordered was great too. The only thing I wish they had were raw scallops and rolls with more raw fish options. I did not see anything with spice like my normally spicy salmon roll, which I was craving. But what I ordered was still good enough. Oh and I have to point out, this place has the best miso soup I've had in a long time.

Oh what a surprise at Rin Connection. A well deserved five starts for many reasons. Here are a few: - Quiet and cozy place - Friendly/knowledgeable staff - Willingness to help you discover - Presentation - Food and taste - Happy hours deals I was passing by and found Rin which surprisingly had over 200 reviews and yet I had not noticed them yet. I am glad I did. So with that I believe they are my favorite Thai and Asian restaurant in Miami-Dade County. Parking: Plenty as they are located in a shopping center close by Costco on 120th Street, to the right of 100 Montaditos and Five Guys. Food: Well, it was hard to decide what to get. The Yelp pictures can give you an idea. They serve Thai and Vietnamese as well as Japanese. So you get a variety of Asian Cuisine. This is what I ordered on my first visit so far: - Gyoza from the starters menu. (This was four pork dumplings served with a ponzu sauce and they offer them either fried or steam. I was recommended the crunchy) - My wife got the Happy Ending Sushi Roll. (Fried fish, masago and tobiko fishes, avocado, cucumber, topped with tuna tatar, and tempura flakes) - Gang Ka-Ree (yellow chicken curry, this came with potatoes besides the normal coconut milk, onions and a side or white rice) I really wish I had more room but the happy ending roll was the tallest roll I've ever consumed. There is definitely quality here in addition to quantity. Here is a bullet list of what you they offer: Thai/Vietnamese: - Starters - Salads - Soups - Their specialties called signatures - Ducks - Curry - Fried Rice - Noodles Japanese: - Sushi - Signature Rolls - Specialties again signatures - Boats - Desserts (oh desserts) My last tip: Their happy hours are Mon - Thu from 4:30p.m. to 7:00p.m. 50% off house wine by the glass, ALL beers and house sake. Reduced appetizers, some of them at least seven to half. Invite me next time! I won't say no.

Great service and they were very friendly. The food was amazing and love the restaurants ambiance. Very open, great decor and the lighting was bright. They have a robot assisting with the serving the meals. Recommend to check it out.

Good spot. Got the Khao Soy which was tasty and some sushi rolls which were solid too. Ambiance was not the greatest, but service was good. Overall 4 star experience.

came across this place while looking for some pho. I have to agree with other reviews that it was good, but the broth was very bland, almost as if they didn't care to season it. The meat was pleasant, and the vegetables were fresh. The service was good. Gyoza were definitely frozen store bought because when I got mine, there were pieces that were difficult to chew. Almost like frostbite. But looking around at other people's plates, they looked amazing, like curry and sushi, so I probably got their least popular dish. Going to come back to fast other stuff.

GREAT FIND IN KENDALL ! Love the decor and ambiance, service is SPECTACULAR! They give great suggestions and food is served quickly, waiter is very attentive as well with refills and table needs. To achieve 5 stars you must have great customer service and at Rin you will not be disappointed. The tea is something you have never had before it is very sweet - I would say it's evaporated milk with tea and the combo can be addictive. Tuna tower was crunchy and fresh , both rolls very fresh seafood and great sauce. The Loco has crab salad in the middle with tempura flakes with shrimp. The Butterfly has salmon ; Chicken satay was delicious with coconut flavor and a peanut dipping sauce. We also had the noodles with chicken and garlic but forgot to take the picture because we were stuffing our faces LOL. This is a definite place to return too !!

It is small, beautiful with open space, and intimate that you will enjoy very much. The music is piped in and is relaxing. They provide excellent service and show pride of ownership. We didn't have reservations but we were welcomed and even received the best seats in the house. Our server was Francisco, who has worked there a long time, was excellent! We chose the Oma Deluxe because we wanted the entire experience. Francisco explained each sushi and what part of the fish we were eating. Each dish was brought out separately. There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. What a great experience! Give it a try when you can. Later, we went upstairs to ASTRA restaurant and bar to further enjoy our evening with beautiful views of Miami. Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

However, if your most expensive sushi roll is $29, and it's the only roll that comes with 5 pieces instead of 10 pieces, there should most definitely be a mention of that on the menu. While our other friends who ordered literally any other roll got a full size portion, it came as a shock to the table when those who ordered the truffle Maki roll received 5, small pieces. The spicy edamame was pretty good. The sauce wasn't just spicy, but tasty. The miso soup was good as well. For drinks, the espresso martini wasn't out of this world, it just tasted like every other espresso martini you'd get at any bar. Our waiter was pretty good considering we had a large party of 24 people. At first he seemed overwhelmed, but thankfully they were able to recognize that and gave him two extra hands to help with orders, drinks, and water refills. The restaurant aesthetic was cute and had a few nice backdrops for photos. However, good luck using the bathroom. The one women's toilet did not flush and was backed up completely with toilet paper. This forced us to use the one men's bathroom, which was also backed up, but not as bad as the women's. To wash your hands there was a small trickle of water. Seems like they have plumbing or pipe issues. Overall was decent, but I won't be back.
