Great service! Food came out very fresh and we were given 2 pan amasado with butter while we waited. The pisco sour is also very refreshing highly recommend it! If you are in a rush or can only do to go, you can go next door to the delicatessen to get empanadas and delicious pastries.

My family is from Chile and they have been coming to Rincon Chileno since they got to Los Angeles in the 80's. Their food is amazing and is made with so much love and pride. The empanada grande de carne is our favorite. Their pan amasado is so soft and delicious. And you have to finish off with mil hojas. 10/10 every time.

Do not waste your money here

Disgusting, found a cockroach in my empanada. I've been coming here since I was a kid and I've never seen this but I'm never coming back. Absolutely disgusting and this place needs to be shut down immediately

A CO- worker recommended this spot for some authentic Chilean empanadas. This is 2of2 of his recommendations man this spot is . It's not your normal dry empanadas this one has that flavory sauce inside. The pebra which was that green sauce is mouth watery spicy and flavorful and goes really well when you put it with the empanadas. I should have bought more pebra that were really good. The lady that helped me out was really nice and sweet and most def will come back to order more .

The restaurant was pretty dirty and the bathrooms were DISGUSTING. I had to beg a restaurant across the street to use their restroom. But, the food we ordered was mostly really good and the service was very friendly and accommodating. We even had a birthday cake with us and they offered to put it in their fridge for us and didn't charge us any extra for cake plates. We had a large group so we ordered some drinks and the giant sampler platters. Everything on them was really good except the chicken wings and pork belly were a little dry and nothing special. Pretty meh. But I loved everything else. The other thing that I don't personally love is that they have a have DJ playing music and talking as well as large tvs playing sports, so the restaurant is really loud. Like you can't hear the person right next to you. If that's your vibe, then check it out but I felt really overstimulated by the time we were done and couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm glad I got to try Escala but I don't know that I'd seek this place out again, unless it just happened to be convenient. Parking sucks in this area and there are so many amazing restaurants in K-town. I'd rather keep exploring.

Everything was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. The fish and oysters were fresh and the drinks were damn good. It's has a large bar area with natural light that comes in through the windows. They also have a lot of seating. When we walked in we were greeted right away by the host. He asked if we had reservations. We replied with a no. He took a few minutes and the said that he could seat us. He took us to a booth in the corner and then told us that our waiter would be taking care of us soon. He asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We told him water and he brought us some water fairly quickly. Then another person showed up and he told us that they would take care of us the rest of the evening. Our waiter was very friendly and did an excellent job all evening. After looking at the menu we decided what we wanted. We started with the guacamole chips and salsa. The chips were okay. They were lightly seasoned with salt. The guacamole was fresh and the salsas were tasty. I preferred the green salsa as the red salsa was spicier. For my main meal I ordered the Quesadilla filled with skirt steak, pico, avocado, salsa, and crema. The quesadilla was delicious. I've never had a quesadilla like this. It was rolled up and looked like an egg roll. The steak was very tasty with a lot of flavor and the other ingredients were fresh. It was so good. For my side I ordered the rice and beans. The beans were good and had flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked. Combined the rice and beans had flavor and were very filling. Overall Encanto was a very nice restaurant. The bar area is large, the seating was comfortable, the service was very good and the food was delicious.

The customer service also wasn't the best during my visit. Since the dining area was completely full when we arrived, we decided to place our order to go. While we were waiting for our food, a table opened up, so we asked if we could sit down and eat there instead.
