We had a large group so we ordered some drinks and the giant sampler platters. Everything on them was really good except the chicken wings and pork belly were a little dry and nothing special. Pretty meh. But I loved everything else. The other thing that I don't personally love is that they have a have DJ playing music and talking as well as large tvs playing sports, so the restaurant is really loud. Like you can't hear the person right next to you. If that's your vibe, then check it out but I felt really overstimulated by the time we were done and couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm glad I got to try Escala but I don't know that I'd seek this place out again, unless it just happened to be convenient. It was quite busy with plenty of foot traffic close to midnight on a weekday. There were at least four team members on the sales floor and registers. The pharmacy also had a line of a few patients and the drive thru was active as well. The cleanliness of the store was just ok considering the location and time I visited. I am happy to finally have made the visit to this specific location to see the whole operational workflow.
