Stopped in and I devoured their half chicken with rice and salad. Super healthy salad with beets! The chicken was roasted perfectly, so juicy and the skin was nicely crisp and proper! Customers were nonstop brimming! Their house green sauce is proper spicy too! Excellent spot!

People say this place has some of the best chicken. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. I'm a chicken fiend and got their quarter chicken combo with salad and beans to try. The salad was interesting cuz it had beets and a strawberry but was pretty fresh and crunchy. The beans were well seasoned, flavorful, savory, startchy, and spiced but were a bit on the firm end for me. I like my beans thick and creamy. Was kinda surprised they gave me all white meat but didn't mind cuz I do prefer it. The chicken was nice and savory, umami, flavorful, and seasoned. Cuz it was white meat it was a bit dry tho. It also came with a tomatoey salsa and cilantroy a bit spicy green sauce that helped to add a brightness and freshness to the chicken. Everything here is super flavorful and well seasoned but like I can also get a full Costco rotisserie chicken for just $5- so overall this place eh. Paid $13.25 Price $12.08

These are my mushy plantains I paid extra for .

The rice was mushy and the fries were mushy and flavorless. Waited 40 minutes for the food and the customer service inside is horrible

This was my first time here from Las Vegas and let me tell you the food here was amazing. I had the half chicken with side salad which included beets, which I love. And also a side of rice. Also ordered an Horchata. The service was fast and efficient. The lady at the counter was friendly and kept the linE moving and had a good system going. This was a cool hole in the wall spot with a lot of traffic coming in and out and you can feel the buzz of how good the food was. I will definitely come back when I am in town.

If this is rotisserie chicken, then what have I been eating this whole time? LOL this chicken is smoky, juicy, fall apart tender, seasoned to perfection. I got the half chicken with rice and beans. Even the beans super good. The place is small though, 6 tables maybe? And park on the street better unless you want a headache getting out.

What I Ordered: -1/2 Chicken with Rice & Beans $19.31 -1/4 Chicken with Fries & Salad $12.08 Pollo A La Brasa is known as the go-to spot for Peruvian rotisserie chicken in LA, and for good reason. The chicken was flavorful and moist, with excellent dark and white meat, and the portion size was very good. I wasn't sure what to order as a side, but the recommendation was fries and salad. I switched to rice and beans, and I'm so glad I did! The sides were both pretty good. I especially loved that the beans came in a separate container and had bits of meat inside. The rice was also nice, with a medley of corn, carrots, and peas. The biggest surprise was the salad. I'd heard people on Yelp recommend it, but it's not common to find a salad at a chicken joint, especially one with avocado, beets, and a slice of fresh, crisp apple. The tomatoes were very juicy, and I'd pay for this salad on its own. The orange dressing is the icing on the cake; it's so good! I appreciate that they provide a bottle of aji sauce when dining in. I also asked for extra orange and green sauces to go with my leftover chicken, and they were happy to accommodate. Don't order the fries! They lacked salt and seasoning and tasted like they were drenched in oil. I'm thankful I didn't order them a la carte because I threw most of them away. I had heard complaints about the staff being rude, but I didn't get that vibe at all. They were friendly and attentive. They're busy, so don't expect a long conversation, but they were respectful and polite. They offer complimentary cucumber water, which was another surprise. That's something you'd normally find at a spa, not a rotisserie chicken joint. While the location isn't ideal due to limited parking and a busy intersection, I haven't let that affect my opinion of the food. My suggestion is to order your chicken with rice and salad, and then get a small order of beans on the side. The beans are the cheapest, while the rice and salad are more expensive to order separately. I highly recommend this spot for rotisserie chicken - you won't be disappointed! Overall, considering everything, I think this is the best Pollo A La Brasa in LA. My experience at Pollo A La Brasa exceeded my expectations!

Saw this place was on the Michelin guide and I love chicken so I been wanting to check out! Place is a little run down but the food quality is there. My order took around 25 minutes and we parked on the street since their is lot is limited. I ordered a whole chicken with fries and split that with my friend and we devoured it. The chicken had so much flavor and super juicy!

    Best rotisserie chicken in LA
    Gregg B.

Best wood fire smoked rotisserie chicken I ever had I don't know what they do but the seasoning on the skin, the deep smoked flavors and the juiciness of the meat is just incredible Then you add their spicy green Aji sauce- it's just - WOW! The black beans are good as well as their rice. The salad is ok. But the star is the chicken

Sad looking plate. Just toss everything. Burnt and dry.
    Harry P.

Instagram just hype the video. It's really not that good. ‍‍ the plate looks so sad. I will not be coming back. Not worth the $22 for half plate. Save yourself from time and $$. Service was mediocre. Ambiance needs general cleaning.

    Steak is tender and tasty
    Tim L.

Delicious! Ordered 1/4 chicken and steak with a combination of rice, beans, and salads as sides. The meats are extra tender and flavored just right. Will definitely come back again if in the area. Recommend!

Our server was attentive, yet very respectful of our private space and time, which we greatly appreciated. We never felt rushed, and were able to enjoy the relaxing time. Here is our order: Chicha No Nada with Pisco: A very refreshing drink! Adding pisco was a right choice, making it a perfect cocktail to start off the vacation. Bass Ceviche: A great Peruvian-inspired dish! Highly recommend adding the crispy quinoa crusts for additional $3. Wood-fired Skirt Steak: This dish is very similar to Lomo Saltado, which is our favorite Peruvian dish. Steak was cooked to perfection. Yuca Fries: This dish was very interesting, featuring chorizo, yuzu-cilantro, pickled ajis, and cotija. It was delicious and perfect as a side dish. While the food was excellent, the portions were quite small for dishes that are "meant to be shared" as descrived by our server. Albeit this, our dine-in experience was very positive and enjoyable overall.

The cutest little hole in the wall, but still has plenty of seating. I noticed the sign saying they've been open for 45 years which really caught my eye. I walked past it 3 separate times while checking out different stores and each time I saw new customers outside, it was never empty, I knew I had to try. 10/10 service! I was looking at the pictures on the wall and not even 30 seconds later, Ozzie (sorry if i spelled it wrong) came out handed me a menu and greeted me. A couple minutes later he came back to take my order, but I am indecisive and needed more time and he was super kind and patient! I ended up sitting at the bar and ordering to go when the owner Juan came out we started conversing. He asked me how I found the place and if it was my first time and he was so kind and personable. I love when owners or managers have this warm energy to them! I paid $13 cash for three tacos (al pastor) which I'll be honest is a little more than I would normally spend on tacos, but they were a really good size, double tortilla, and delicious, probably one of the best i've had in a long time and the service was so nice that I would go back and do it again. The salsa is super hot lol be careful i'm a huge fan of Peruvian food and it's hard to find good Peruvian food in this area so I will definitely be back to try the ceviche!!

Cute building with lovely patio seating: from the trailing hanging pothos plants, Spanish tiles, to relaxing latin-house music the vibes were welcoming. It was graciously explained that you take an additional shot of rum and float it on top of the drink or mix in to make it extra boozy. The pina colada is top notch they hollow out a real pineapple to make the drink and it's the size of your face! The watermelon cocktail was delicious and there is also a mezcal option. Tasted like if a watermelon aqua Fresca was combined with a margarita, there is a hint of salt that brings out the fruit sweetness. We special ordered a bunch of different proteins and vegetables at half portions to make a feast: Aguachile- Light refreshing starter, kanpachi perfectly marinated and great for the summer heat. Crispy potato- Phenomenally done fingerling potatoes. Whipped beans- Carnitas on top made this dish. Fried chicken tacos- Found the chicken slightly on the dry side, if there was a creamy/thicker sauce would be even better... nothing wrong with flavor, good mild heat. I did enjoy the fresh shredded cabbage and carrots, reminded me of bahn mi. Empanadas- Loved the acidity of the sauce that cut through the fattiness of the ground meat. Light shell. Crispy Squash flower- Delicate crunch, like an angelic version of a jalapeno popper. Lamb chops- Definition of "treat-yourself" luxurious meat lollipops. Celery salad- Simple dish but the lemon flavor and tartness really helped break up the richness of other dishes. Churros- Light crunch and small, petite dessert. The thin caramel sauce is addicting.
