    Steak is tender and tasty
    Tim L.

Delicious! Ordered 1/4 chicken and steak with a combination of rice, beans, and salads as sides. The meats are extra tender and flavored just right. Will definitely come back again if in the area. Recommend!

Sad looking plate. Just toss everything. Burnt and dry.

Instagram just hype the video. It's really not that good. ‍‍ the plate looks so sad. I will not be coming back. Not worth the $22 for half plate. Save yourself from time and $$. Service was mediocre. Ambiance needs general cleaning.

Stopped in and I devoured their half chicken with rice and salad. Super healthy salad with beets! The chicken was roasted perfectly, so juicy and the skin was nicely crisp and proper! Customers were nonstop brimming! Their house green sauce is proper spicy too! Excellent spot!

If this is rotisserie chicken, then what have I been eating this whole time? LOL this chicken is smoky, juicy, fall apart tender, seasoned to perfection. I got the half chicken with rice and beans. Even the beans super good. The place is small though, 6 tables maybe? And park on the street better unless you want a headache getting out.

Terrible workers harassed a street vendor and her 3year old daughter. Vendor wasn't even selling food - she was selling purses, flowers and other gift items. Disgusting behavior. They were physically taking her canopy down and the woman was helpless. Their sign is on backwards and it's dirty parking lot but they're worried about a woman and daughter selling purses. SMH

Saw this place was on the Michelin guide and I love chicken so I been wanting to check out! Place is a little run down but the food quality is there. My order took around 25 minutes and we parked on the street since their is lot is limited. I ordered a whole chicken with fries and split that with my friend and we devoured it. The chicken had so much flavor and super juicy!

What I Ordered: -1/2 Chicken with Rice & Beans $19.31 -1/4 Chicken with Fries & Salad $12.08 Pollo A La Brasa is known as the go-to spot for Peruvian rotisserie chicken in LA, and for good reason. The chicken was flavorful and moist, with excellent dark and white meat, and the portion size was very good. I wasn't sure what to order as a side, but the recommendation was fries and salad. I switched to rice and beans, and I'm so glad I did! The sides were both pretty good. I especially loved that the beans came in a separate container and had bits of meat inside. The rice was also nice, with a medley of corn, carrots, and peas. The biggest surprise was the salad. I'd heard people on Yelp recommend it, but it's not common to find a salad at a chicken joint, especially one with avocado, beets, and a slice of fresh, crisp apple. The tomatoes were very juicy, and I'd pay for this salad on its own. The orange dressing is the icing on the cake; it's so good! I appreciate that they provide a bottle of aji sauce when dining in. I also asked for extra orange and green sauces to go with my leftover chicken, and they were happy to accommodate. Don't order the fries! They lacked salt and seasoning and tasted like they were drenched in oil. I'm thankful I didn't order them a la carte because I threw most of them away. I had heard complaints about the staff being rude, but I didn't get that vibe at all. They were friendly and attentive. They're busy, so don't expect a long conversation, but they were respectful and polite. They offer complimentary cucumber water, which was another surprise. That's something you'd normally find at a spa, not a rotisserie chicken joint. While the location isn't ideal due to limited parking and a busy intersection, I haven't let that affect my opinion of the food. My suggestion is to order your chicken with rice and salad, and then get a small order of beans on the side. The beans are the cheapest, while the rice and salad are more expensive to order separately. I highly recommend this spot for rotisserie chicken - you won't be disappointed! Overall, considering everything, I think this is the best Pollo A La Brasa in LA. My experience at Pollo A La Brasa exceeded my expectations!

    Best rotisserie chicken in LA
    Gregg B.

Best wood fire smoked rotisserie chicken I ever had I don't know what they do but the seasoning on the skin, the deep smoked flavors and the juiciness of the meat is just incredible Then you add their spicy green Aji sauce- it's just - WOW! The black beans are good as well as their rice. The salad is ok. But the star is the chicken

The food is always good and fresh. Now charging for their aji sauce. Everyone wishes this, better parking.

Chicken with rice and fries, and Chicha Morada
    Michelle L.

THIS IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES IN KTOWN!! this place is actually a hidden gem, it's a small shop right off Western. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and it's crispy as well. The aji verde here is the best I've ever had, this dish is actually addicting. The Chicha morada is perfectly sweet, and the best pairing with the chicken. I could not recommend this place more, it actually changed my life, I eat here once a week now. The workers are nice and it does get extremely busy sometimes you wait an hour, I recommend calling in ahead of time to skip the line!! Thank you Pollo A La Brasa!! Amazing!!

    Menu as of 5/1/26

A must have staple food if you're in the area and definitely worth the drive. Their rotisserie chicken is fall-off-the-bone full of flavor and perfectly pairs with the Aji sauce. The location is small but always full of customers which speaks volumes about their delicious food. Will be back for more! Please note they are closed Tuesdays.

    half chicken & rib eye!!
    Christy L.

Hidden gem!! I am so glad my family and I stopped by this little corner store. I really underestimated the flavors. The chicken is tender and falls off the bone with amazing seasoning that gets fired in the big rotisserie oven. It is quite warm inside because of the chicken being cooked to order. We ordered half a chicken and the rib eye. The rib eye was nicely cooked and not tough. It is quite hard to cut with a plastic knife tho. It came with chimmichuri sauce, but we all felt that it just tasted of oil and no herbs. The rice was cooked well and the beans were very flavorful! I liked how they also included fruit in their salads. Service is fast and everything is set on disposable cutlery and plates. Lots of togo orders as well.

Half chicken, rice, side salad, corn on the cob
    Jonathan H.

I really wanted to like this place but I thought the food was just OK. The chicken looks great out of the box and was juicy but really lacked flavor/salt for me. It needed a lot of help from the green sauce but even the sauce really just added heat/spice vs. flavor. The side salad and the corn on the cob were also underwhelming and seemed like random vegetables in a box from a salad bar. Parking is challenging as there is a very small lot with no more than 10 spots. However, there is metered street parking nearby but will be a walk.

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The service was quick and attentive. Parking was easy for us. I will definitely be back!

The staff are lovely humans who really seem to care about their customers. We have some faves on the menu. The bean dip is fabulous and I'm addicted to the baby gem salad. They have recently amped up the filling in the delicious crispy squash blossoms and I love the acidity and heat. The fish is also a hit in my books. One dish that doesn't work for me is the lamb chops, which is a shame since it's my favorite protein. I've ordered them multiple times with clear instructions on temperature and have found them overcooked and tough. The beef tostada was just ok. Whilst I loved the pickled veg on the side, the beef was underseasoned. It wasn't bad - just not up to the standard of other dishes. The vibe in the place is welcoming and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We will continue to be regulars and it's really worth trying if you haven't been yet.

It was very flavorful and probably better than Holbox-- if you have been. 10/10 (2) TUNA CARPACCIO YUCA TOSTADA #2- this was the best bite overall, it is definitely small and you finish fast but the flavors were just outstanding. The tuna itself was so fresh and it had a nice acidic flavor with the perfectly crunchy tostada!! 10/10 (3) KANPACHI CEVICHE #3 - a coconut predominant flavor with a mild acidity to it. It also pairs with plantains and they were fresh and perfectly crunchy. Was weary about the corn at first but honestly couldn't taste it and it was so good! (4) AFRO-CARIBBEAN SHRIMP DUMPLINGS #4- my bf loves shrimp and said this was very tasty. I'm not the biggest fan of shrimp but thought it was very creamy, fresh, had the classic shrimpy sweetness and a coconut creamy sauce to pair with it that when used on the rice tastes like a sweet milk rice. These were cooked perfectly. (5) fried chicken #5 - solid fried chicken and good crunch to it with the chicken being very well cooked but I cant say I was blown away by it, it has good flavor when dipped in the sauce which has a nice smokiness and acidity to it that makes it really tasty. However if I came again, I probably wouldn't order again. Lastly we ordered the toffee dessert which was classic and yummy. Nice shareable size. Overall, would return 100% and bring friends from out of town. Terrific flavors and service and definitely a top LA restaurant.
