    Caesar Salad with chicken
    Peter D.

We found ourselves passing through New Paltz, and Rino's was right there when we needed some lunch. We heard it was good, and we heard right, because this is a solid slice shop that also offers up plenty of other options if you're not in the mood for pizza. They also have a spacious dining area that, while barebones, is still comfortable if you don't want to take it out. For the kids, we got a couple plain slices and some chicken fingers (for the bipolar three year old who sometimes hates pizza). The chicken fingers weren't anything revolutionary, but they fried them well, just like they did the buffalo wings that my wife was craving. Those were super saucy, but nice and crisp. Reminiscent of Western New York, and that's a compliment. We were also feeling like we needed some greens in our life, so we added a chicken caesar salad. It was better than expected, and hit the spot. Overall, I think pizza is the best choice here (it's in the name after all), but they have some variety if you need more as well. All in all, a very solid place.

I was in need of a quick dinner and saw that this spot does pizza by the slice and decided to give it a try. They have classic NY style but I went for their grandma's style crust. It's square cut, thicker than traditional NY style but not exactly Detroit style either. I'm not precisely sure what style it would be considered, That said, it was good! I got the white pie with pesto and hot honey and the blending of flavors made for a flavorful slice. Inside the restaurant is larger than it looks with plenty of tables if you'd like to dine in. That said, the atmosphere is basic pizza shop so I opted to take it to go and enjoy my slice and a movie in my hotel room. The service was fast and friendly! Get to it!

The food looked and smelled amazing! We had Jersey tomato and chicken parmesan pizza. The flavors were amazing. The staff was friendly and the order was ready on time for takeout. Will drive the ten minutes for the pizza

LOVE THIS PLACE. We stop at Rinos every time we're on our way back from Saratoga. Their pizza is so tasty and sauce. They have lots of indoor seating, very spacious. Service is really good, the guys working there are so quick and so nice.

The meatball ricotta slice and grandma slice were great, not too much sauce and not overloaded with cheese and no burnt crust. Wish had more ricotta on the slice though since made the slice so much richer in flavor. For the Italian combo, first time I seen a place use semolina bread for sandwiches and I will say I was fan of it, different but great, it's not typical crispy loaf. Plenty of meat and definitely not an air sandwich for sure. Hah. Plus made exactly as I asked with lettuce and tomato, can't tell you how many place get your sandwiches mixed up. Also a shout out to guy who despite having a case on his leg, was serving customers on his own without help, definitely great to see hard workers.

My eggplant parm sub was bad. The bread was soggy and the eggplant not crispy. The pizzas are very good.

Good food, probably the best restaurant in New Paltz. We ate at so many places, and this is by far the very best, and most tasty!

We received water. 15 minutes went by: we saw the waitress scrambling to bring out drinks, bread and food for tables while the waiter was also bartending inside and outside. They must be understaffed because these two employees were doing absolutely everything they could to keep this place afloat, I felt bad for them. So did other guests because one woman (in frustration of not getting her check) began to help bus and clean tables. We asked both waiters for bread. 15 minutes later, another waitress arrives at the restaurant to help, we ask her for bread. We waited around 30 minutes just for bread. Our appetizer (each got lobster bisque) was delicious. Other parties were so annoyed at the service, one table send someone to go over to Water Street and brought back hot dogs!!! Multiple new customers arrived, saw the poor service and left. Our entrees were great! We agreed that the chef was awesome, but no one wants to spend 3 hours of their afternoon at a restaurant!

We ducked into here at the start of a huge storm after throwing one back at the Parish across the street. What a lovely respite! It was a quiet night and we sat at the bar. There was a good selection of wines by the glass and trust me, I indulged enthusiastically. We had good conversation with the lovely bartender, the owner and one of the waiters. Everyone was so nice, gave us a lot of insight to the area as well, cuz we're not from 'round these parts (but will be moving not so far away in the near future). There is a covered patio area lit with fairy lights and tiki torches that positively beckoned to us, but that damn weather... that said we found inside, back by the bar is equally inviting. It also bears mentioning that New Paltz (understandably) has an array of college student-oriented establishments and The Station definitely appeals to an older demographic (read: parents of college students, professors, travelers) which is a plus for anyone also looking for a great date night spot.

This isn't just a chocolate cafe- it's a nice little wonderland where cocoa is the soul, but not the whole story. Alongside their truffles, you'll find hot chocolate, brownies, pastries, etc- all Vegan. I was really looking forward to the chocolate truffles, but the chewy texture threw me off. I expected that smooth, melt-in-your-mouth center like the classic ones. And I get it- these folks are completely vegan- even so, I hoped for a similar consistency in these- veganized of course. And I couldn't leave without trying the hot chocolate. Theirs needed more cocoa oomph. Still, the service was solid and the staff was great.

The garlic knots weren't much better; the sauce tasted like it came straight from the can with no seasoning, leaving everything a bit bland. The dining area was empty during my visit, and the location is tucked into a shared strip-mall parking lot, which takes away from the experience. There is something so satisfying about a grilled salmon filet on top of a savory crunchy salad. Which is exactly what I went for. I ordered the beet+orange+feta+walnuts salad at the counter to eat here. Time was ticking for me and mentioned to one of the guys I rather take it with me. Price was fantastic for a green salad and a hefty piece of protein. However, half of my salmon was raw. Listen, I love eating sashimi- but it's one thing to eat it- and it's another when you get an undercooked fish filet on a bed of greens.
