The staff is SO sweet and amazing at helping and accommodating payments and appointments. Dr. Rio is a fantastic chiropractor. I first went to her back in 2008 after I was in a car accident. She got me back on my feet and feeling much better quickly. Since then, whenever my back or neck are unhappy, I go in for an adjustment. Recently, I started taking my 15-year-old daughter, as well. She has had significant health issues, and Dr. Rio is helping her to feel quite a lot better. Last week, my daughter's ear drum ruptured from infection, and the adjustment made a huge difference in her recovery. We are to the point that my daughter will even ask for an appointment if she needs it! She has realized what a difference it makes for her. I've had chiropractic care in the past that was more targeted and aimed at my specific issues, but I prefer the whole-body approach taken by Dr. Elise and her staff. I tend to get a knot at the very top of my spine/neck, in a spot where regular massage and self-administered neck cracking can't touch. This leads to migraines and tense muscles. They started occurring more frequently so I started looking for chiropractic care since it had helped in the past. The first place I went to, I felt very talked-down to by the doctor and it wasn't a very private atmosphere (no doors, a large room with multiple tables for multiple people). Dr Elise's practice has a wonderful atmosphere and the office workers are very friendly as well. This post is a follow up for the services received. This far, have gone to Rio Chiropractic for one week. After the Dr and I reviewed my X-rays I decided that treatment would be the best option. I never felt pressured nor misconstrued while going through the payment options. The office provided different plans to accommodate my financial needs since I don't have any insurance coverage. As Dr. explained, progress varies from patient to patient. For me, well I have loads and years of reoccurring stress. Along with other strains in my knee and hip. This has caused lots of muscle tension which now has traveled down my spine onto my lower back causing a stinging burning pain. I've received one other massage session and adjustments every other day along with therapy. I'm very happy with the sessions and the accommodations the office has made for my busy schedule. I look forward to rebuilding my body with chiropractic care and have absolutely no doubt that this place will help me achieve my recovery. I mentioned that I was having severe TMJ pain on the left side of my jaw, so she offered to try a treatment too on that as well.
