Last week I bought 2.5 pounds of snapper and 2 doz clams as they were closing. I rarely walk out spending less than $80. I immediately came home and put the shellfish into a bowl and the snapper in the coldest part of the fridge. The next day when I took them out to cook .80% of the clams were open. They were shot after 14 hours in a cold fridge. I threw them in the freezer and went to return them a few days later. There was a kid working there that basically told me it was my problem and didn't care. Over $10 worth of clams you lost 2 local, loyal customers for the rest of our lifetime. The clams were a bad batch. I'm a chef by trade. No shellfish should last less than a day under the condition I had them in. Ce la Vie.

They refused to lower the bill so we left and paid without tipping. I've never had an experience quite like this where the manager will not even work with you. We asked for our fries to be extra crispy and they were perfect. The nuggets were slightly over cooked, but they were really nice. I specifically enjoyed the flavours of the egg rolls. It was really busy, so instead of staying to enjoy the music, we decided to let a couple of ladies have our table as soon and the check was paid. A really nice place to come and enjoy Florida before the summer's heat and humidity encroaches.

It's not the same quality or tastes. Let us go down memory lane here & revisit our last conversation, we had with you all there, last visits. You told us the story that the new owner was so dedicated to keeping the recipes the same, that they offered the one person a higher salary to stay on, because they were the ONLY person that knew how to make the original Clam Chowder, that everyone loved.
