I was looking for Skala haircare at Rio, and although I was unable to find it, I was really impressed by how many other offerings Rio Market had on the shelves. From beauty to pantry goods to frozen tubs of açai, I would definitely head here for all my Brazilian needs. I didn't realize there was actually a little food hall section next to the store, with a hot bar and little kitchen counter. There was plenty of seating available as well.

My go-to when I need some authentic Brazilian food! The prices are great and they have a fantastic selection of Brazilian pastries. Food is pay per pound ranging from $11.99-$13.99 depending on your selection. It's a dining room connected to a Brazilian supermarket, so a little bit harder to see and off to the side. The ambience is fast casual. Having been to Rio recently, I come here a lot when I miss the food and want authentic bites. This is a local gem and there are always people coming in and out for the great food!

Been coming here for years and it's the best buffet everrrrr! The picanha and the passion fruit mousse are to die for . The people here are the best such good vibes and excellent service!

No Internet service is available in the store. I had to check in before I came inside. I do not use public WiFi due to hacking concerns. Some staff assisted me in buying popular Brazilian food. I got what I could not get in a typical Brazilian restaurant: Baked Garlic and Parmesan Yucca Snack; and Cheese-bread Waffles. I paid $5.58. There was no tax. If I like what I purchased, I will come back. The store decor needs updating, and somebody needs to clean the floors and organize the shelves a bit. That is why I am giving this grocery store a three star review.

Buffet

Pao de queijo is ok, pretty standard, not as light or fresh as others. Shrimp empada and palm empadas are great.

Pastel queijo/cerne ( cheese/meat patty ), kibe ( beef croquette ) , coxinha ( chicken croquette) , bolinho de mandioca ( yucca savory)

Brazilian or not you will enjoy some authentic delicious pastries from the many parts of Brazil. The price is excellent and the quality is great . My favorites that you must try are cheese/meat patties called "pastel", cheese balls called "pão de queijo", Brazilians beef croquette called "Kibe" and so many more . The flan , chocolate truffles and cakes are condensed milk based and just thinking about it makes me drool. Apart from the mini restaurant, connected is the supermarket that offers Brazilian products such as cookies chips, candy, cheese, seasonings, frozen pastries, yogurt, tea, chocolate, acai , "toddy" chocolate milk, tapioca , Havaiana flip flops ( your sneakers for the summer i like to say because it's so comfortable you'll be happy it's in your closet ), shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, facial care, nail polishes and much more. It's either a piece of home if you're Brazilian or a new place for you to try

this was or is... originally a Brazilian product supermarket. me with Brazilian heritage I always come here to buy my favorite childhood products of stuff to cook whenever I am nostalgic and want to taste my home country food. for a couple of years they were trying to expand their services and they started to do money transfers, little information board with rooms for rent and jobs needed or wanted. but lately I think that their expansion may start to do more harm than good really. the first catastrophic change or adjustment is that they made this ice cream area when the whole frozen yogurt hype was happening, not they only have these unused machines and nobody eats the ice cream there, looks really weird. but now another thing that is kind of taking off but I am not so sure I really like is this new little cafeteria style restaurant they have. I won't lie they have some ok prices for the food and some cool promotions for drinks and combos, but now here is what I dislike a bit. their food is not of best quality and taste, I am not sure they are trying to get better at all and yet the market ppl keep making sure to expand the restaurant and make the market that is so much more useful to the community even smaller every time. I am very nervous and somewhat afraid that the market might have its days counted to give space to a mediocre at best restaurant. here is what I have ate in the restaurant: COXINHA COM CATUPIRY - it tasted doughy and the weirdest thing ever was that the chicken was a weird ball stuffed in there and once you took a bit the ball didn't even move..... it was like the dough and the chicken were not from the same meal.... RISOLE DE QUEIJO - this is like a cheese salgadinho... it was once again a heavy dough and I got to be honest, I don't think there was any cheese in there.... RISOLE DE CARNE - this one is a ok salgadinho, I really like it, but again is it worth it to take a chance of a business that benefits society just cause you restaurant has one non mediocre item? I am seriously worried about this place and I can only hope they see that a restaurant is not the answer for them nor for the community. they serve a greater good to us as a market.

I got a FREE toothpick INSIDE this shrimp whatchamacallit. I bit into it and everything. I'm so lucky!

Finding this place was challenging. It's not on the main boulevard but a few yards from the corner…read moreso you'll need GPS assistance to get to it with no issue. It's also a bit on the small side but I'm guessing it's tailor-made for outside dining so it has that aesthetic going for it. The woman behind the register taking orders was very courteous and very patient with me because this is the first Brazilian spot I went to that isn't a dedicated buffet. I ordered some food that came up to almost $30 and it sure did come up with a lot of food. Even the Empanadas were larger than usual so I guess you certainly get what you paid for. No complaints about the food whatsoever. The Grilled chicken I had was surprisingly juicy and tender. It even came with fries and a side salad, which caught me off guard because the menu didn't specify what sides it came with so I thought it was just the meat which prompted me to order some rice and beans on the side so I basically had an entree with 3 sides and 2 Empanadas. Despite the heavy amount of food I unwittingly ordered, all of it was great and it didn't feel like a chore eating it all. The service woman cleaned my table after I was done, asked how I liked my meal and even requested a dessert. I always give credit to service going an extra mile so this place definitely deserves a solid 5.

I mentioned to him oh but the sign & online says this price but you say it's this price? He goes oh we have to change online ordering prices & the sign. That doesn't make any sense in the slightest bit needless to say. Anyways, I wish this place the best of luck & to do better than lie for no reason. I get it, business is tough but this isn't the way.

I can't remember the name but there was this one steak that was really good, it was the first option served to us so that set the tone nicely. However, everything else that followed wasn't as good and lacked flavor. The sides at the buffet were really good, especially the rice and beans (pasta too). The Moscow mule was one of the best I've had , definitely order that. I'll be back to try more options

Do not skip the rice and frijoles, the mango salad, or the potato salad, which is a full-on gastronomic delight and somehow tastes like someone's Brazilian aunt put her soul into it. The cocktails are another highlight. My wife had three and every single one landed. Big kudos to the bartender because that bar program is doing serious work. Dessert also deserves applause. The Brazilian cookie cake and passion fruit options are stunning, bright, and joyful, the kind of sweets that make you pause mid-conversation and nod in respect. Where things falter is the rodizio itself. The meat selection felt limited, and the quality just did not hit the mark for me. The restaurant recently transitioned from offering both traditional and halal meats to becoming fully halal, which I understand from a business and community standpoint. That said, as someone who grew up with a wide range of meat preparations, I can confidently say there is a noticeable flavor profile difference, and here it came across as flatter and less indulgent than expected. It felt like ordering a sports car and realizing it tops out at second gear. At around $150 for two with drinks, I wanted that wow factor, and it never quite arrived. For context, I enjoy places like Fogo de Chão, though I admit they sometimes overdo it on the salt. Still, I miss things like Brazilian pork sausage and pork bacon, which you will not find here due to halal certification. That absence is felt, especially for carnivores chasing that classic churrascaria experience. Would I come back? I'm honestly undecided. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who eats halal or prioritizes cocktails, desserts, and an excellent salad bar. For hardcore meat lovers, it may feel like a great playlist played at half volume.

We kicked things off with three bottles of Malbec, which was excellent and easily the highlight of the first round. The appetizers--Caesar and Baby Arugula salads, Fried Calamari, Lamb Cigars, and a half dozen each of oysters and clams--were just okay. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. For mains, we went all in with Christo's Signature Porterhouse for 3 (63oz/$185), Charbroiled Salmon, Baby Lamb special, and a Sea Bass special. The steak was cooked well and had solid flavor--definitely the standout among the entrees. The seafood dishes were fine, but again, not particularly exceptional. We finished the night with a selection of desserts, which were nice but didn't quite redeem the meal. Service was courteous, and the ambiance definitely leans upscale and festive, but for the price point, the food was hit-or-miss.
