Inside facing the dining area with a TV displaying various areas of Brazil for aesthetic purposes

Been awhile since I've been to a Brazilian restaurant that I haven't visited at least once so I decided to come around here. It was around lunch time that I came in and the place was virtually empty, though that's not a complaint since it means better service. The one waiter that was around was very courteous and attentive. I opted on the Beija Flor Burger lunch special with fries and some Mango juice. Not gonna lie, it was the longest I've waited for food, about 20 minutes even for an empty seating area. Wait aside, when the food finally arrived, it was plated very well and the food was delish. The fries were nice and crisp, even salted very well, it was very appetizing. The burger was tender and solid, it was a nice lunch. I may have overindulged myself, the waiter asked if I wanted dessert and I said "why not?" What was originally a $25 meal became $41 with the addition of the Brigadeiro Caseiro & mochacino. As good as the food is, it can run you up a tab so make sure you're good on money.

I was in the long island city area and happened to pass this restaurant. The restaurant is actually very small, but aesthetically pleasing; has a bohemian vibe. Our server was friendly and took our order fairly quickly. We ordered a pitcher of passion fruit capiriña, the cheesy bread as an appetizer and the steak as the entree. The food did take a while but it was totally worth the wait. The drink was refreshing and strong. The cheesy bread was warm and a great way to start the meal. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and was packed with buttery flavor. It also came with a side of rice and beans which were also very delicious. I like that their menu is small and makes deciding what to eat quick. I will definitely be coming back to try other items from their menu.

On an especially cold day, I stumbled onto this Gem. I was met with warm, friendly service and food that almost felt tailored to my palette. Our server was uniquely attentive without being intrusive. I adored the rustic & floral decor and the drinks somehow complimented our orders. I'll say this: We came hungry. As a result we were ordering a lil Willy Nilly from the menu and our server warned us to rethink portions etc. I ordered: soup of the day, the croquetas (cheese) & fried chicken pieces. I was pleasantly impressed by each. Please see photos !

I had a delicious caipirinha to start, then the molqueca de peixe that was fenomenal. Finished off with pudín com doite de leite. Everything was delicious! Try this place! Good music, friendly staff, great drinks! You will have a great experience no doubt! Tá otimo tudo la! Obrigado!

Good food at a cool Brazilian restaurant. The interior was decorated in a vibey way, adding to the atmosphere. It was fun trying dishes I'd never had before; the feijoada was particularly tasty.

The cheese bread was so yummy it came out nice and hot. The meat and yuca mix tasted really good. I came here with my boyfriend and we ordered an entree to share with sausage appetizer too. It was too much food for us. So generous portions. We ordered three appetizers and one main entree and it was more than enough food for the two of us.

Food was great but it was over priced. It's a Brazilian spot so of course the steak was fatty. About a quarter of it was all fat. Service was great the inside is big ,in the future they could easily put more tables and chairs in the establishment. But I don't think what I got was worth $34.

I came to this Brazilian restaurant for their live music and we had a great time. It was Latin Restaurant Week and Stella Artois was in the house. We had their burger and their chicken. The chicken was an appetizer which can easily feed three people. The portions here are huge. The burger was nice and tender and served with perfectly crispy fries. They had a live band from Friday to Sunday. Saturday they said is can get crowded but it's the most entertaining day and it is highly recommended to get reservations. The service was a little slow at first but once we got our food everything became real smooth and excellent service. The staff was so friendly about it to Felipe.

Stopped by around 9pm on a weeknight. The ambiance was quiet compared to other nights when they have live music, but overall beautiful and colorful inside. The staff were friendly, and spoke to us in Portuguese. It was fun ordering like that! The food was absolutely delicious, nicely presented, and mouth watering. The steak I had was so juicy, tender yet the perfect bite, leaving you wanting more. Ugh, the yucca purée was also such a delicious add on. The burger and its fries were god sent. I loved my whole experience here. Everything was tasty, from the drinks to the dessert. I need to come back, hats off to the chefs. Y'all did that!

Ambiance (5/5): The inside is darker and feels upscale/modern. It is a great date spot. Service (5/5): We were the only patrons at 9:30pm. The staff can also speak Portuguese. Food: Picanha na Chapa $32 (3/5): The top sirloin steak had a lovely seasoning but was over-cooked or prepared poorly since the meat was fairly tough to eat. I've never had farofa before which is traditional Brazilian side dish made with toasted yuca flour/cassava flour. I'd describe it as eating powdered rice which didn't have quite a taste. Picadinho De Carne Com (Rice) $24 (5/5): This was my friend's dish which was much tastier. The stew was rich and delicious! I would have thought the portions might be bigger as he still left hungry.

never had brazilian outside of fogo de chao but i was way more impressed by this place than fogo. happened upon this restaurant on dec 31 when walking around looking for somewhere open. even though it was the afternoon and preparations were already underway for a new years eve party, the staff kindly welcomed us. we ordered the feijoada and steamed yucca per recommendation of the waiter and this was the best yucca ive had in my life. i usually fear yucca being dry and tough so steaming makes so much sense. we shared this dish and side between two ppl and were both very full after. would love to come back and try their lunch specials!

The food was good. The restaurant is pretty. Service ppl seemed like they were confused and had a difficult time understanding us. They seem to not have enough spoons or menus. Anyway, I had this place bookmarked for a long time, and I forgot why, but I guess it's a good spot if you live in the neighborhood.

Looking for a Brazilian restaurant that's not a chain, this is your spot. The minute you walk in you can tell it feels like a close knit restaurant. The minute we ordered the apps and I took a bite it tasted exactly like what would Come straight from my mom's kitchen. Every dish felt like it was made with love, and has delicious flavor and seasoning. The staff was delightful and attentive. I highly recommend the the Torresmo which is basically fried pork and it comes with this delicious guava jam dipping sauce. (Chefs kiss). The Brazilian sausage was also tasty ! The main dish I enjoyed was the traditional picanha which like I said Taste like it was made straight from my kitchen. Absolutely delish !! Made sure you check this place out because it's definitely on my return list !! .

The biggest question then became, where to go? We needed a place that was relatively easy to get to that would hold close to 100 people. Jungly was a contender for several reasons - it's location, size, vibe, and menu all seemed to check off. It also helped that I had done business with the owner previously at one of his other spots. It seemed like the natural choice, so I went ahead with the booking. Jungly is located in LIC - it's a pretty convenient spot as its close to the LIRR and the subway. Parking can be a challenge, but luckily I found a spot only a block away. The space itself is nicely set up - walking in you're immediately greeted by the bar area with dining areas both to the left and the right. Due to our size, they closed the place to the public and we were able to freely roam the bar area and one of the dining rooms. In addition to standard tables, they have some lounge space and high tops by the bar. The vibe is somewhat modern - a black/grey color scheme paired with neon and golds. It looks like the space could easily be converted to a club-like atmosphere. Since we were here for a private event, the food was set up buffet style - we chose three apps, four mains, and two sides. Ultimately, for apps we chose pita bread with dips, steak tacos, and shrimp tacos. For mains we chose fried chicken sliders, smashed beef sliders, cacio e pepe, and roasted chicken. For sides, we got fries and Brussels sprouts. In general, all of the food was tasty; the strongest dishes were the tacos, fries, and the chicken tacos. The tacos were generously filled, the fries were the crispy skin style, and the chicken sliders were nice and crispy. The weakest for me was the cacio e pepe - not much flavor and just not really a standout IMO. My communication with management to set up the event were a little staccato, though in the end everything worked out. For the most part, my communication with them was consistent in the days leading up to the event. Service the night of the event was overall good - they were very accessible but I found that they could have replenished the food a little faster in response to the rate it was being taken from the buffet. The bar, on the other hand, was great - both in service and variety of liquor available. Overall, we had a great event at Jungly. They were professional, fair, and delivered on the goods. I would definitely consider hosting another event there, or dine here on my own.

The bartender, the one person who should be welcoming and engaging, came across as rude and lacked any charisma. On a Friday night, good energy behind the bar makes a huge difference, and that was completely missing. I ordered a margarita, which is one of the simplest and most common cocktails to make. I asked for it really sweet with plenty of salt on the rim. Instead, it came out barely sweet and with almost no salt. For a $17 margarita, I expected much better. I've had to return the drink because I've had better margaritas for $12 at other places. While waiting for my friend, I had to wait with a glass of water because I didn't trust the way they made the drink. The bartender told me I either needed to order another drink or move, which felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. To be fair, the food was good and the space itself is nice. However, the bar service left a very poor impression. There are plenty of more affordable places where the staff are friendly and make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this place. Give this place a 6.5
