Finding this place was challenging. It's not on the main boulevard but a few yards from the corner so you'll need GPS assistance to get to it with no issue. It's also a bit on the small side but I'm guessing it's tailor-made for outside dining so it has that aesthetic going for it. The woman behind the register taking orders was very courteous and very patient with me because this is the first Brazilian spot I went to that isn't a dedicated buffet. I ordered some food that came up to almost $30 and it sure did come up with a lot of food. Even the Empanadas were larger than usual so I guess you certainly get what you paid for. No complaints about the food whatsoever. The Grilled chicken I had was surprisingly juicy and tender. It even came with fries and a side salad, which caught me off guard because the menu didn't specify what sides it came with so I thought it was just the meat which prompted me to order some rice and beans on the side so I basically had an entree with 3 sides and 2 Empanadas. Despite the heavy amount of food I unwittingly ordered, all of it was great and it didn't feel like a chore eating it all. The service woman cleaned my table after I was done, asked how I liked my meal and even requested a dessert. I always give credit to service going an extra mile so this place definitely deserves a solid 5.

This restaurant is super cute and authentic! It's a restaurant but they have a window where you can order from outside if you are just taking it to go. It was a freezing day, but there is a protection over the window area to keep people warm. There was a man and a woman inside the kitchen. The man immediately came to the window as I walked up. I ordered the Pão de queijo, or Brazilian cheese bread. They had a deal of 7 for $5. He said they were currently baking them Alf it would take 5 minutes, and asked if I'd be willing to wait. He offered me to sit inside while I waited. Inside the restaurant was very welcoming. It's a small place, but it had a home-y feeling. The tables were wooden and there were a lot of plants around on the walls. My order came very quick, actually. I was expecting it to take much longer than it did. The cheese bread was a little small, but very delicious! I will definitely come back and maybe sit inside as well.

Great local spot. Was my first time trying casual Brazilian food so didn't know what to expect. I ordered: -cheese and beef empanada (7.5/10); these were good. The shells were crispy and had good flavor to them, but they were quite oily. -Brazilian cheese balls (9/10); exceeded my expectations, I really liked how the middle was chewy and mochi-like. they taste even better with the green sauce, but def can feel flavor fatigue after having a couple. -pineapple burger (8/10); solid burger, especially for $10. I liked the tartness of the pineapple against the beef and ham. -Brazilian sausage platter (7.5/10); the beans and rice were great. the sausage reminds me of a firmer, sweeter hotdog. the meat with the veggies and rice and sauce are really flavorful. -strawberry and condensed milk smoothie (8/10); this was solid, loved that there was a natural strawberry taste. It's a small place, just 3 tables. Parking was pretty easy on a weekday night. Bathroom could use a touch up

Im always happy with my order! Everything always tastes great. The cheeseburger tastes like my mom made it, cooked to my liking, the addition of the corn is a fun element. The burger is hearty. The fries taste great, like fast food fries! Fantastic lunch!

Ordered: X Banana (~$9): burger with banana (plantain), cheese, corn, potato sticks, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Guarana Soda (~$3) Aya's take: pleasantly surprising! Delicious burger with great textures and depth. The green mayo and chipotle sauces are a must! The Guarana soda ties it all together. Definitely recommend stopping by for a Brazilian burger!

A filling, charming experience overall. Staff was nice, and there was indoor and outdoor seating available. Decent food, but not stellar-- I can't really put my finger on why, but it might be because my expectations were high going in. It is slightly pricier than what I feel like I got, and I would definitely check Seated or other apps to see if they're running a promo. The pao de queijo, their namesake, definitely lives up to its reputation being so fluffy and delicious with the sauce. On the other hand was the X Brazil burger, one of their more popular dishes, which was just not to my taste.

Online menu: https://www.newyorkpaodequeijo.com/lunch-dinner Indoor and outdoor dining space. Seems family operated and the food is fresh and fast! Love their meat plates: comes with salad, fries and rice & beans. Huge selection of empanadas too! Recommend the beef croquette.

Great local spot that you should hit up for some good sandwiches and delicious bread! Good takeout option Food: I ordered the de casa burger and the healthy chicken sandwich. The healthy chicken sandwich was not what I expected Bc I thought there would be a piece of grilled chicken, instead it was shreddedz. I didn't like the flavor of it overall and it was cold so I wouldn't get that! The de casa burger is the chicken burger and it was delicious - it had a great flavor and was very filling. The green Mayo that they give on the side is very creamy and good! The fries are so good! The bread basket was great- it came with 7 pieces of bread and they were so tiny and cute and filled with cheese! I am definitely going to return to try some of the other sandwiches Service: quick service despite being busy and friendly! Price: very reasonable - each sandwich is less than $15 and they give a heap of fries for $3. Super filling Covid safety: they have outdoor seating. The orders are taken and picked up outside. The staff wore masks

Copacabana is a no-frills buffet por quilo, which is self-serve and weighed by the pound. There are takeout containers as well as plates if you choose to sit down in their adjoining dining room or outdoor seating. Overall, it was a pretty chill experience and I liked the laid back pace. I got my feijoada and rice, along with some broccoli and an oxtail that looked pretty good and everything came out to about $15 ($11.99/lb for hot bar + salad bar only). The oxtail was super tender and was cooked in a sweet tomato and onion rich sauce.

Do not skip the rice and frijoles, the mango salad, or the potato salad, which is a full-on gastronomic delight and somehow tastes like someone's Brazilian aunt put her soul into it. The cocktails are another highlight. My wife had three and every single one landed. Big kudos to the bartender because that bar program is doing serious work. Dessert also deserves applause. The Brazilian cookie cake and passion fruit options are stunning, bright, and joyful, the kind of sweets that make you pause mid-conversation and nod in respect. Where things falter is the rodizio itself. The meat selection felt limited, and the quality just did not hit the mark for me. The restaurant recently transitioned from offering both traditional and halal meats to becoming fully halal, which I understand from a business and community standpoint. That said, as someone who grew up with a wide range of meat preparations, I can confidently say there is a noticeable flavor profile difference, and here it came across as flatter and less indulgent than expected. It felt like ordering a sports car and realizing it tops out at second gear. At around $150 for two with drinks, I wanted that wow factor, and it never quite arrived. For context, I enjoy places like Fogo de Chão, though I admit they sometimes overdo it on the salt. Still, I miss things like Brazilian pork sausage and pork bacon, which you will not find here due to halal certification. That absence is felt, especially for carnivores chasing that classic churrascaria experience. Would I come back? I'm honestly undecided. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who eats halal or prioritizes cocktails, desserts, and an excellent salad bar. For hardcore meat lovers, it may feel like a great playlist played at half volume.

I am a Brazilian native and I travel a lot , with that said I have been to tons of restaurants , specially Brazilian ones and I must say this is the worst I've ever been . From service to food , please save yourself the disappointment and just go elsewhere . We visited on Sunday 7/12 . I made a reservation online and I browsed through the menu just to have an idea , the place was also recommended by a friend who has been there . Here is how it went : Arrival : not necessarily a warm welcome you want when you walk into a place , we had reservations and arrived at that exact time , the place was pretty much EMPTY aside from us and one other table . They set us at a table that was a hit uncomfortable (way too small) we asked if we could sit at a different table and were told it was reserved ( to who ? The ghost ?) because there was no one else there and even if they arrived there were plenty of other seats. Eventually she set us at a different table . The whole place is old and outdated , with large mirrors on the wall that are not properly secured. I had some questions about the menu since it seemed to be different than the one I found online so I started asking some questions and the waitress had no clue and obviously didn't understand English , so since I also speak Portuguese I figured I speak to her in Portuguese but guess what ? She didn't speak that either ( you work in a Brazilian restaurant in America so you either speak Portuguese or English ) so I found out she speaks Spanish no problem because I speak that as well . Asked her about the menu in Spanish and she still sounded confused and had to go in the kitchen and ask . Not to mention the menu u online says they have boiled yucca and there it only says fried so that is false advertisement. As you can tell the whole waitress service was just a sh... show and it didn't even end there but we will talk about that later on . The food : Ordered Picanha , linguica , boiled yucca and carne seca. The Picanha was DEFINITELY NOT PICANHA, that meat had so much fat and nerve on it it was horrible , not to mention iron it. Was as hard as a shoe . The linguica was basically mediocre slim piece so also no good The carne seca came in a bowl of French onion soup and the cheese on top was so burned we almost needed a hammer to get through the cheese and get to the meat which was also nothing to brag about . The only thing worth saving was the boiled yucca , as least that was done the right way . Back to the waitress , not only she didn't know the menu she also didn't know how to operate ( or read English) the machine to place the order , I technically had to do it with her and show her the correct options . After we were served she basically disappeared and we even had to get up from the table to go ask for the check . ( even that part of the job we had to do ) We were also served warm water and it was 85 degrees outside . Wow !! I haven't had such horrible experience in a very long time , it was so bad we ate whatever was eatable , paid the bill and went elsewhere . Oh and let me not forget the fact she gave us an attitude at the end , didn't say thank you or have a nice day in any language would be nice , but NO !! I guess she didn't like the tip which she was lucky enough to even get one for terrible service and terrible food . Completely overpriced for the food and service they provide . ABSOLUTELY DO NOTTTTTTTT RECOMMEND .

Our waiter was friendly, attentive throughout the meal, and knew both the menu and specials inside and out. We started with the grilled octopus, house dips, and a thick-cut slice of bacon. The octopus was tender with a nice char, while the bacon delivered exactly what you'd expect from a steakhouse appetizer--simple, rich, and satisfying. For the main course, we shared a Porterhouse for Three and a ribeye, accompanied by mushroom risotto, garlic mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. The steaks were the highlight of the evening. Both had an outstanding crust while remaining perfectly cooked inside. The porterhouse in particular showcased why dry-aged beef has such a following. The mushroom risotto paired especially well with the ribeye, while the garlic mash and creamed spinach were classic steakhouse sides executed well. I also tried a Negroni before dinner, which proved to be a great choice and complemented the appetizers nicely. The dining room strikes a balance between upscale and comfortable, with an old-school steakhouse feel that lets the food and service take center stage. Great for a special occasion--we were celebrating both Father's Day and a birthday, and the experience felt worthy of the occasion. For mains, we went all in with Christo's Signature Porterhouse for 3 (63oz/$185), Charbroiled Salmon, Baby Lamb special, and a Sea Bass special. The steak was cooked well and had solid flavor--definitely the standout among the entrees. The seafood dishes were fine, but again, not particularly exceptional. We finished the night with a selection of desserts, which were nice but didn't quite redeem the meal. Service was courteous, and the ambiance definitely leans upscale and festive, but for the price point, the food was hit-or-miss.
