A good stop for affordable surf clothes and gear. I went this week for a bike rack, which they didn't have, but the staff was happy to point me in the right direction. Of course, I took a browse through the store...and found great stuff at great prices. I was able to pick up hoodies under $20 for holiday gifts and they had a great selection of sandals, tees and swim. Next time my husband needs a wetsuit I am going to stop by...they seemed to have quite a few and the prices were great. read more

The prices are pretty darn good, I managed to pick up a wet suit jacket for me and my son for $50 and $20 respectively. You can barely buy a decent rash guard for that money in a regular store. The help is effective but scarce. read more

Went there to get a surfboard and the manager that helped me is friendly and very knowledgeable. After talking to him I was convinced on my selection and decided to get the whole sha-bam (fins, board bag, board). I looked around California and found that this was the cheapest place for the board i wanted to get (5'4" Sweet Potato). They gave me a good deal on my trade-in and a good discount on the accessories since i was buying a new board. I would definitely recommend this place for their surfboards and surfboard accessories. They even have demo surfboards you can try out if your not sure about the surfboard you want to get. I don't know about the clothes and other stuff since downstairs since I wasn't their for clothes, but the boards and their knowledge of the local surf and their surfboards was spot on and impressive. read more

There are some great deals to be had here if you have good timing. Was kinda bummed the selection and pricing of the women's wetsuits were so much better than the men's. Ended up paying the same for a mid-level suit as a friend who got the highest end women's suit. The help was kinda useless but maybe it was just my experience. read more

Bought a wetsuit jacket and did not realize it was medium when I needed a large. Brought it back the next morning with every tag still on it as I did not use it. Seeing how they only had size small in stock, they were only going to give me $15 store credit when I literally just paid $60 for the top.. so I now have a wetsuit jacket that does not fit and I'm out $60. Excellent experience! The customer service was quick and super informative. I purchased a 4/3 Rip Curl wet-suit and some new booties for a total of less than $300.00 and it was one of the newer models of wet-suits with a front collar zip. Great price for great products and they have a huge selection. The staff that helped was very knowledgeable and dedicated to their craft. I will definitely return here for any of my surfing needs. We went to this store to purchase wetsuits for two kids and an adult. Dakota greeted us as we entered and led us to the kids section. I had sized my kids before shopping. Nevertheless, Dakota measured them again and recommended the next size up. He had them try on several sizes to be sure of the right fit. While the kids were struggling into the suits for the first time, Dakota gave us novices some helpful pointers to ease entry. He was careful to leave some, but not too much, room to grow. He also patiently explained to us inlanders the difference between winter and summer wetsuit thickness. We were very satisfied with the fit and the price. Based on this experience, Dad decided to upgrade his 30 year old hand me down wet suit. Dakota gave me three options, two of which I tried on. I went with the pricier model to get more shoulder flexibility. There have been some reviews of this store that have flamed the sales people for their condescending attitudes. By outward appearance, Dakota would easily qualify as a righteous surf dude. However, there was not a hint of disdain in his demeanor. Additionally, he was very professional in every part of this transaction. His product knowledge was outstanding. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They should change their name to "RIP OFF". I wasted 350.00 on a wetsuit which is a lot for a outlet!! Then nobody was helping so I got a 3/2 instead of a 4/3. The store manager would let me exchange it and was very rude and told me Togo sell it on Craigslist!! THE STORE MANAGER IS THE WORST!!!! She ruined my Christmas/newyears!! Of the 2 trips I've made to the Rip Curl Outlet I haven't been able to find a wet suit in my size. I had to drive up the street to the RC store for that. The clearance section had AWESOME swimsuit bottoms during my last visit. I ended up getting 2 bottoms and a pair of shorts for around $20. I was thrilled!! read more
