This place is massive! A fun spot to find most of your outdoor needs whether it be fishing, camping, hunting and more. So many different things to look at. When it came to check out there was a huge line. They need to do better with having more cashiers

Let me start by saying this... Usually this location is not packed and lines are not crazy but man oh man TODAY was a whole different story. Parking lot full, store packed, long lines and when I say long I mean all the way to the end of where the guns are. Not all registers were open. Even if we had something in our hands to purchase we ended just leaving them. Maybe we will return after the holidays.

Robert helped us find this beautiful hat! So nice and helpful, thanks Robert!

Sunday, August 24, 2025 You can't miss seeing Bass Pro Shops off the freeway. Parking aplenty, it's in a big shopping center. It's a gigantic store! We can here hunting for a XL navy hoodie. I think they were out of stock. We didn't see any navy, most popular color. The employees on the floor didn't seem to be proactive in helping us out but we managed without them. The checkout experience was better. Although, their card only line was a problem when they didn't have a cash drawer for a debit-cash back transaction. The employee was super nice though. We were told that customer service can order the size and color of the hoodie and have it shipped to store or home. Good ol experience here!

I come here once a year for one thing only - santa photos with my puppy! We discovered this last year and it was my puppy's first Christmas and it was so so magical. The set up was cozy and beautiful, the staff was super dog friendly and kind, and the santa staff was just so sweet and awesome. They really took the time and effort to make sure we got a cute smiling photo. I was nervous about holding up the line but they took their time and made it such a fun experience. We went back this year obviously. It is now a yearly tradition to take santa pics.

Been here a few times. Closest one to San Diego. Not a bad selection of items I need if I'm going on a trip. The sales on some clothes aren't too bad.

Staff; Everyone here was nice. They are very friendly and support a family fun environment. Quality: This store is Massive and beautiful. We are talking about an insane amount of different items and virtually every out door product you could possibly imagine. The layout is nice, the options plentiful, and the store amazing. The decorations are perfectly done to represent the great outdoors with fish, sharks, mountains, hunted animal heads (). Value: I think the pricing is pretty fair. Overall: The store is really cool. I'd be back for sure. So with all this greatness, why only 4 stars you ask? They took way too long to call for more help. There was the typical customer return that stopped the entire line. With only one line open it grew to about 8 people. After about 8-9 mins of waiting they finally called others and the calvary came on. Customers should never have to wait this long. I'd recommend that returns be moved to the center of the store as completely stopping the line like this makes for a bad customer experience. The entire line of about 10 people cleared out while they were still trying to return their item.

Happy to have a Bass Pro Shop in Orange County. Fun place to shop around for all types of outdoor gear. Love the little indoor aquarium they have. Also love that they're pet friendly here! Don't skip out on their snack selections.

Not a lot to say unless you love fishing. If you fish you understand. It's like toys-r-us for adults. I literally could walk around in there for hours. Great start to a great fishing trip

I truly love Bass Pro Shops and it's to the point in which I will visit a local store whenever we are traveling throughout the US. Every store has the same storefront that helps you realize that you are at the right place. I love how there's some consistency when you go from store to store. When they closed Walmart and stated that Bass Pro Shops would open at this location, I was excited! I figured that we wouldn't be driving to their store in Rancho Cucamonga for a while. It took some time to complete this project and when it opened, a lot of outdoor enthusiasts were super hyped to check it out. The one thing that you'll notice is that it is much smaller than other locations. They had to work with the amount of space that was available and make the best of it. They do have all of the standard items that you always see at their stores: boats, clothes, hunting gear, and so on. However, the selections are much smaller than what most patrons are used to. I was taken aback by how small the clothing section was as I was looking for some winter gear! They do have a fish tank that is standard at every Bass Pro Shops store that I've visited. This however is much smaller than expected. It just doesn't feel the same. The employees have been pretty helpful and incredibly nice. They'll always point you in the right direction or look up your information to help you get your rewards points. They also work hard to maintain a store that is clean and welcoming. Overall, yes, Bass Pro Shops is a great store. It's nice to have one much closer to home. We like to come here from time to time to pick up snacks and dog supplies. Our dog really likes this place too, so it's nice to have another dog-friendly business in the area.

I could be at this store for hours browsing through all of the aisles In case the world goes down as if we're going to have an apocalypse, this is the place I would love to seek cover at!! My favorite aisles: emergency preparedness, fishing gear, and the clothing aisles.

Today I visited Bass Pro Shops for the first time, and wow, it was quite an experience. When you first walk in, it's like you're transported into a whole new world. The entry way has a bunch of animals, there's a waterfall, fish tank and all the camping gear you'll ever need. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We probably had around 3-4 staff asked if we needed help. It's a fun place to explore. Even if you don't need something specific, you'll prob leave with something!

Who knew that the headquarters for all things Santa and Santa photos was Bass Pro Shops? To be honest, I had never set foot in a Bass Pro Shop before and the reason for my setting foot in one this time had nothing to do with fishing or camping! I was introduced to this place because they do great Santa photos! At first I was skeptical, but by the time I left, I was a believer. They had a great set up that was beautiful and dog friendly and that let us get some awesome pictures with Santa! (Plus, one of the younger customers told me my dog was "fire", and I enjoyed that.) I wasn't much of a camper when I went in, but I wound up buying a Yeti backpack because of this place and now I'm sold. Did I mention the staff was extra friendly and polite? Plus, the pictures could've been free but we opted to pay for more because they came out so well. Definitely recommend!

Ask the Community - Bass Pro Shops

All the bass pros in I've been to have a restaurant attached. Is this location going to have one? And if so what is it going to be?

Yes, it will have one in a few months. I've spoken to staff and they've indicated to me that it's going to be a Wahlburger (which would make it one of the first in Southern California). Currently, I think the closest one to us is in Las Vegas.

I see a firearm I want in stock, but it also states that this location doesn't sell firearms at this time?

The Irvine location, most definitely has firearms. Saw them for myself this past weekend.

    Are pets allowed?

Yes. The place is dog/pet friendly and I witnessed lots of dogs around during my visit.

This is by far the worst managed bicycle ride in Southern California. We have ridden this ride…read moreseveral times so this review is based on years of experience with this ride and group. They charge a pretty hefty fee for a ride that has minimal support (just ride it this past weekend and the only sag vehicle we saw was at a rest stop). There is nothing to mark the start except a table handing out a wristband (generic) , race directions and a cheap water bottle with the association name not even the name of the ride. Directions of the ride are always confusing and convoluted. This year they added hills both to the start and end a stunt they pull every year (especially at the end) when they could have ended it at a flat or a beautiful spot. End to the race is always deflating. This year they had some unmarked truck picking up bikes and no signs anywhere to guide you to that truck. Speaking of which, signage in this ride is almost non-existent. After years of collecting fees they still have not invested in sufficient signs to guide the riders. The unnecessary route of riding .1 miles over and over again was annoying and again confusing. Do the planners even ride the route before they publish it? Why take us through a bike path next to the freeway (not the free way part) when there are so many routes to choose from? The rest stops were just meh; they used to be better and that Buccaneer Park one needs to be eliminated; did you not notice the amount of traffic on that area? Super disappointed with this ride. Not worth the fees. You'd be better off making your own route which we plan to do next year.

This was my first Amtrak Century. Overall, I enjoyed the ride, the scenery and the people I met along the way. When I picked up my registration packet I met Michael and he answered some questions I had as a first time rider. With that being said everyone I encountered volunteer wise was great! No complaints there or with the SAG stops. I did think it was little off that SAG 3 was spaced so closed to SAG 2. But they were all fully stocked with plenty of food, water, ice., etc. There were not enough bathrooms at the stops. This is the first event ride I have done with no fanfare at the beginning. You just rolled out when you were ready. I guess there are pros and cons to that but I had never experienced that before. I would have liked to see bibs. If everyone has a bib at least I know I'm heading in the right direction and less likely to get lost. Because of that I tried to stay with people who had done it previously and knew the route but in more than one instance groups were still going different directions at some intersections based on previous ride routes that they knew. So I do think the marking could have been better. I noticed arrows in the beginning of the ride but none after that. I don't recall seeing any SAG vehicles either. I thought the finish was great and I loved being handed the medal when I got there. I thought the food provided at the end was good. No complaints there. I had no problem with the bus or transportation of the bikes. I thought the timing was explained and I knew what to expect. I would like to see better changing facilities. I at least expected to be able to use a real bathroom at the end of the ride and not just get dressed in a group tent. It didn't really provide much privacy with people coming in and out and the flap constantly opening. I liked having the DJ at the end. That was a nice touch! Will I sign up for this ride again? Absolutely. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. I just hope next year Amtrak is back on board.
