It turned out to be that my intake air valve was cracked. I needed my spark plugs (bought that on my own) replaced too since my car had over 100,000 miles, plus my air filter was filthy because I didn't change it during the summer. These guys took only about 15 minutes and electronically transferred the passing smog certificate to DMV. They have a comfortable lobby while waiting. I will recommend this place.
