my family and I stopped by on our way up to Portland from the Bay Area for a quick lunch. this place can be a bit hard to find, just gotta keep your eyes peeled! we got their lunch specials: a sandwich + drink + either a side salad or a bag of chips. their salad is a salad bar style! they had a ton of toppings and dressings so that was nice. we ended up getting iced teas - in 24 oz cups! they were really friendly and welcomed us when we walked in and even helped us decide what to order. recommend to stop by if you're feeling a bit hungry! read more

We had high hopes for this place as we traveled North on I-5. The espresso menu is legit, but service and coffee knowledge was sub par. Pastries are heavy, smothered in icing and sugar. With an afternoon doppio or cappuccino, something more delicate and light would be appropriate. read more

Cheerful staff and fellow customers, had a late breakfast that was really quite good. The homemade gravy was wonderful and the biscuits were light but maintained their texture and consistency to support the gravy. My wife's sandwich was very fresh with sausage, bacon and eggs. We stopped on our way through yesterday and had a wonderful meal. The salad bar was wonderful with delicious chunks of blue cheese and a rockin garlic balsamic vinagrette. I don't know what to say about the chili. Yum doesn't cover it. Big chunks of moist beef in a thick sauce. Just a tiny bit of spicy, good for all. The staff was very friendly and right on top of things. We'll be back for sure. read more

They always have my drink order ready & always tell me if they have biscuits & gravy before I even ask. Which by the way are delicious. If you haven't tried them you seriously need to. Went in here for the first time at the Arbuckle Car Show--they had just bought the place, but despite that, and the rather long line of folks also grabbing coffee or a cookie, I was greeted right away, they got my latte going, and I bought three of their seasonal caramel apples! YUM!! and I was out of there in less than ten minutes. I have been in there at least once a week since, they have redecorated, they are open longer hours, which is nice for after work, and every week (sometimes every day!) they have a different treat, many holiday-related. I've not been in for biscuits and gravy, but their soups and chili are awesome. They ran out a lot at first, but now they've got the demand down and I can always get lunch there. They make everything right there, from coffee to cookies to cakes to doggie treats, if you've got your four-legged friend outside in the car. And wireless! Kids come in after school and it's never a madhouse or unruly, everyone is just happy Two Chicks is here! I haven't special-ordered a cake or anything, but I understand they do that too! read more

I truly don't understand how this coffee shop has good ratings. I came into town with four friends. We travel quite a bit with our kids sports team and usually I love seeking out the "local" coffee shop and supporting the local businesses over chains. We went at 8 in the morning. There were only 2 other people in the shop so they were not busy. We each ordered a drink, and one more for the coach. Every drink had a mistake. We ordered two of the drinks iced, and they came out as hot drinks. When we reminded them they were iced, they took them back and poured them over ice, which immediately melted and watered down the drinks. One of our drinks was ordered with almond milk (dairy issues) and they weren't sure which one. They kept switching them around. One of our orders was forgotten. One of the drinks was tea, and they left the bag in so long the tea was bitter (it sat on the back counter with the tea bag steeping in it). All five of us ended up throwing the drinks away, and the one that needed non-dairy ended up with issues, so probably they guessed wrong on which one was not dairy. Plus, the bathroom was really dirty - actually the whole place was not very clean (I wouldn't order food there). So we waited a long time for inaccurate drinks which we threw away 15 minutes later. Really sad. So I hate to say it, but if you need coffee I-5, better get it in Woodland or before you leave Sacramento or Williams or wait until Orland further up I-5. I notice most of the positive reviews were in 2015 so maybe they have changed owners. read more
