Ended up finding this lil roach coach mobile coffee spot located at the Farmers Market in Chula Vista on a Sunday. So happy to get some coffee and try a new vendor. The menu is extensive and she offers more than just coffee, from acai bowls to Belgian waffles, a treat for all who come. I love me a good latte and found a good balance for my SO and I to share, we opted for the Hazelnut Vanilla Latte iced. She was very quick and friendly making our drink, taking our order and providing the essentials. The drink was rich and strong, and we did walk about 15 minutes and glad we got a cup of Joe. Looks like there is a couple locations this coffee truck can be found! The pricing is competitive with other coffee vendors.

Fast and friendly customer service! The waffles were great, I ordered the Lani which came topped with Nutella, strawberries, and bananas. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted amazing! I had the joy of trying them at the pb farmers market and definitely reccomend them.

This has recently opened up and I gotta say, it's phenomenal. I love that there is a huge parking area where you have plenty of space to park and grab a quick bite to eat or drink. This is a small little food truck but the experience is not small at all. Autumn is the one who holds it down in this little food truck. She has such a warm and sweet soul. It's easy to talk to her and she's extremely friendly. I've been here twice so far since it's close by to me. But I have to be careful for if not, I'll have no money left haha. Although I can eat breakfast here everyday I need to watch out for the finances. It's difficult though. I've been here twice and everything I've consumed is amazing. Autumn is patient with the preparation of her food. Which is nice because your not going to pay for a sloppy mess like you do bigger chain places. The first time I got myself the Lani Love Belgian waffles. I watch autumn make these from scratch while having a conversation with her as she mixes the waffle mix in a bowl. Soft mini Belgian waffles with strawberries, bananas and Nutella drizzle. The next time I came I had an açaí bowl. It was nice because while preparing it, Autumn asked if I wanted certain toppings and different choices of peanut butter for a little extra charge. I need peanut butter in my açaí bowl so it's always worth it to me. The experience is wonderful and so is the food. I highly recommend this place. Especially since other coffee shops are just not caring as here.

Usually açaí bowls are suuuper expensive and come with way too much or way too little. The bowl here at Rise And Grind is perfect size and value for my stomach and taste buds. I'll be back soon to try the coffee. Highly recommended!

I was headed to the gym when I saw a lovely coffee truck that really caught my eye. Needless to say the service was so great and the coffee was truly mind blowing. The owner makes everthing from hand and most importantly she loves what she does and that makes all the difference. The price was great and I can't wait to try the homemade oatmeal . This will deffinetly be my new go to coffee and it should be everyone's favorite spot in my opinion. Thank you so much.

It's got the decor, chairs, and art to match. Jessica was our server and she was amazing! She gave us lots of suggestions on what to try and what is on the menu since it was my first time here. She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! In particular, I enjoyed the fried chicken and waffle tower and their roasted chicken hash. I was surprised they didn't include a side of butter along with their biscuits, but I'll probably just ask for it next time. One important thing to note is that their dishes are HUGE. All 6 of us had our own dishes, but I would highly highly recommend ordering a couple dishes and sharing it family style if you're dining with a group. One note I did have about Hash House is how overstimulating the menu is lol. The menu had a lot of clashing fonts, colors, and clip art images, it made it hard to digest the menu. I didn't even notice some menu offerings because of how busy the menu was. Also, our waitress did initially charge us for 6 coffees, even though we only had 3. It was a good thing we caught that error on the receipt before paying. Overall, the food at Hash House is definitely worth coming back for.

From what I could tell, there was only the bartender, one server, and possibly the manager working the floor. There may have been another employee, but regardless, they handled the rush incredibly well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving despite being clearly understaffed. The place itself is super cute and has a really fun atmosphere. There are TVs everywhere, making it a great spot to catch a game, and they have a nice craft beer selection. What I ordered: * Chimichurri Sliders ($16) - One of their specials. You get two sliders with no fries, so I'm not sure how much of a "special" it really is. They were decent, but nothing memorable or worth going out of your way for. Overall, I'd definitely come back to grab a beer and watch a game because the vibe is great. Food-wise, though, I found it pretty mediocre for the price. Burgers are around $25 with fries, and the appetizers (or "bites") range from $18-$25.. I was still hungry after the sliders and wanted to order a side of fries, but they don't list sides or prices on the menu, so you have no idea what anything costs. I ended up passing because they only offer steak fries, which just aren't my favorite. One big bonus is that they're dog-friendly, which I always appreciate. If you're looking for a fun place to watch sports, enjoy a beer, and hang out with friends, I'd definitely recommend it. Just don't come expecting the food to be the highlight.

You can't come to Richard Walker's and not get the Dutch pancake. We went with the Apple Pancake (the fan favorite for a reason) and it was honestly out of this world. They have protein pancakes that are low calorie and gluten-free. And, they taste pretty good. Not as good as their regular pancakes, but, good enough to satisfy my pancake craving. I have breakfast there one or two times a month. I always have the same thing - protein pancakes and decaf coffee. And, the portion is so huge that I take most of it home and have the pancakes for breakfast the next several days. Enough about the pancakes. Let's talk about the service, which is what compelled me to write this review. A few months ago I sat down and my server, Erick, came up to my table and said, "Protein pancakes and decaf?" I was blown away! He remembered me and my order. I am not that regular a guest. He is just that amazing. And, it doesn't stop there. A few minutes after delivering my food, he brought a to-go box, because he knew I always take most of my meal with me, and I'm always in a hurry. That's not great service - that's extraordinary service! At one to two times a month, Erick makes me feel like a 5 day a week regular. I wish I could give Breakfast Republic 14 stars; 5 for having protein pancakes, 4 for their taste and 5 for the extraordinary service.
