We moved to Berthoud a year ago and this bakery is our go to! They make the yummiest sweets (our favorite is the chocolate croissants- my French husband totally approves) ,we also get sandwiches there about once a week and all our coffee. No, no and no. First you need to know that if you order anything here you are going to wait at least 20 minutes for the food, even if you are just buying a bagel that is already made. They are ALWAYS SLOW. And ALWAYS BEHIND. The food is ok but not anything special and look at spending $10 for a sandwich. Very overpriced. Not much selection. Staff is almost all young teenagers and they are pretty clueless. If you get it to go always check your order before you leave. 9/10 they mess up the order. read more

Excellent bakery in Berthoud! Staff have been consistently friendly and helpful! You can sometimes wait a bit for food since it 's a small shop and everything is made freshly as you wait, but I know it's worth it! Large selection of tasty sandwiches and a few side options. Place is nice and had good pastries/food on my first visit. Went in again on Mother's Day - short on food options so ordered a coffee. I ended up waiting 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee poured while I watched others with pastry orders be handed their food AND their coffee. The guy who was supposed to be doing coffee orders was apparently okbusy taking phone orders to do coffee? Maybe if you order food you get better service from the other staff ? Hope for better next time. Update - took the owners suggestion to try again. Came on a Saturday morning at 9am. Waited 30 minutes again for two bagels and two cups of coffee. NEVER AGAIN!!! We used to stop by this bakery back in 2018 when we lived in Berthoud. Was running an errand this afternoon and thought it would be fun to stop in and grab a few sandwiches to bring home! Got my order taken right away, ordered "the Pinewood" and "the Lenox" and waited for about 15 minutes to get my order. Once I got home with the sandwiches I was unpleasantly surprised to see that the sandwiches I ordered had about 3-4 slices of meat, very little ingredients. Mostly just bread. Pretty disappointed because I used to really enjoy this place. Won't be coming back, feels like a rip off paying $25 for 2 sandwiches that are half full. read more

What a hidden, delicious, wonderful GEM. My wife and I found this treasure looking for a local flavor lunch spot. Clean, friendly, inviting. The sandwich board features their own baked breads. Fresh fixings perfectly prepared and presented. My pastrami and cheese on grilled rye. To die for. My wife had the Italian on white. She ate the whole thing. Caution. Food is decent. Similar to Panera but small town feel. Serve ok coffee. Service is subpar, 4 of them stand at the counter, one tries to hide by the microwave pretending to work, the others are clueless. If you're looking for decent timely service go somewhere else. read more
