This is a cute little restaurant. It was kept nice and clean and a fun decor. Our server was very nice and friendly. She always made sure we were happy and had what we needed. I used to go to Bradfords and every so often, however they usually get my food wrong which isn't always the biggest deal but every time something is wrong with someone's food in the group. Also, the waiters aren't very nice definitely could work on customer service and satisfaction. I love the vibes that the restaurant brings and it's very cute and nice space with a bar! Sadly, after health inspections I've found that they failed many times and had to have the health inspectors come back. They had expired food on the line giving to customers. After reading the results it has changed my tune of the restaurant! Hopefully with better management and a change of attitude with some workers the place will improve. read more

Despite an unannounced group of ten on a busy Friday night our waitress made sure we had prompt seating and superb service and attention. Menu varies according to the day but there is good selection for all ages and taste. Homemade mac n cheese was a hit with the young group. Fresh salad bar was great even at a late hour. Fish tacos and Surf n Turf is highly recommended. Great experience and a treat for our out of town family. read more

Horrible food experience, I ordered the fried chicken and they served it to me RAW!! Then they recooked it and it was over cooked burnt and dry.. we Wil not be going back, I don't see how they rate 4 on yelp. Five stars for the service and the fries. One star for the food. I'm visiting from out of town and have enjoyed other visits here in the past but tonight I had the driest chicken I'd ever had. The fish and chips had a smell and were burnt. The mashed potatoes had a strange under taste and were runny. We just went to Bradford's for lunch after a 3 year absence. With news of a new chef, we were very pleased with our lunch. I had the mussels, delicious. My husband had the Reuben sandwich with onion rings. Sandwich was huge, rings delicious. And my margarita was mixed very well! So happy to see Bradford's improving. Out for Small Business Saturday and popped in here for a late lunch. The service was prompt and friendly. My only complaints about the service were that we got put at a tiny two top even though the restaurant was fairly quiet and the waitress did not explain that "side salad" was synonymous with "trip to the salad bar" (which I had not seen). The salad bar was clean and well stocked with a good variety of items. Our lunches were very good! Devin had the White Cheddar grilled cheese with onion rings and I had the Fish & Chips. Everything was hot and fresh and filling! Overall, the restaurant was clean and welcoming. We would have no problem stopping in again! read more

My steak and eggs didn't taste bad, but they didn't really taste like anything. I thought it was interesting that they have eleven items on their menu, but over thirty drink options from the bar. Normally a small menu is a good quality in a restaurant because it means they do a small selection of things well. That's not the case with Bradford's. read more

Bradfords is a Berthoud staple. We have been coming here for a while with family and friends for various occasions. Everyone is always so nice and I love that they have a salad bar. It's hard to find those these days. Everything we've gotten has been good. My partner loves their fish and chips. Tonight was extra special. We were evacuated from our home due to the Alexander fire and Bradfords gave us dinner. We are beyond grateful for their generosity and kindness. Tonight going there we were given the gift of some normalcy. They also have updated their menu and the food was great!! Forever grateful for the owner and staff there. Give them some love! This for the Sunday brunch. I was the only one in the restaurant when I ordered so they weren't slammed in the kitchen. I will say the service was friendly amd attentive except for the fact that they didn't look at my dish vs what I ordered before they brought it out. My over easy eggs were over well. My home fries were dark brown and overcooked. The steak was tender and medium, not medium rare as I ordered. The decor is great. Barnwood sliding door, cute bar, loved the feel from the outside in. We started with the brisket barbecue poutine. The brisket was The perfect amount of crispy and melt in your mouth. It's drizzled with barbecue sauce which was delightful and the french fries and cheese curds all layered together perfectly. Then we had salad bar which was great, a lot of variety. I loved that their burgers were grass fed and hearty, but my favorite part was the homemade apple pie served with delicious vanilla (slightly tasted like pumpkin which was even better). Our waitress was a gem, Lisa I believe, but we spoke to about 5 other associates who were all so nice! We had lots of laughs, & at the end the owner stopped by and thanked us for coming in. It was the perfect experience & we definitely appreciate the small town feel in their hospitality. Great price, great service, great food. Definitely making this one of our regular spots. read more

My gf and I went here for the 1st time last night. They did not have clam chowder, so I shared my meal. It was 8 pm and we both weren't hungry. A young girl seated us, brought us drinks. Later, she came to take our order. No name was given. I asked what came with the steak (nothing was listed). She did not know. I asked if I could get a baked potato with sour cream, veges, and bread( she didn't know if bread came with it) so I ordered toast on the side with a salad. She came back and said they were out of baked potatoes, so I asked for mashed. Food was brought. And instead of toast she brought 3 dinner rolls. No butter, so we asked for some. 10 minutes later she brought a small bowl of melted butter for dipping. I than asked for reg butter. The place was not busy at all. Finally, the butter came and sour cream for the baked potato we didn't get. As we ate, we realized, we were not asked how we wanted the temperature of the steak. We think our server bussed tables only. Although the food was good we were surprised that the service was not. After we ate we went upstairs to hear live music. Main reason why we were there. 9:45 we tried to order a drink. The two bartenders ignored me for 5 minutes while they just stood there. I Don't drink so my gf took charge and went up and asked the female for a White Russion. She didn't have the ingredients. This was a shocker as this place was suppose to be an upscale establishment. I felt the owners should know that our experience was poor. read more

Gave Bradford's another try tonight after hearing they hired a new head chef. At first glance, it appeared that not munch had changed on the menu, but the preparation was much improved. I'm done with Bradfords. Ordered a burger to go. They used to have great seared well done burgers, but this was undercooked, not seared, soggy bun, uninteresting fries. And overpriced. A Wendy's burger would have been better. Not the first, nor third time I've been disappointed with Bradfords quality and taste since the kitchen staff change some months ago. Great food and service! Had the BBQ Beef Brisket and it was wonderful. Great Smokey flavor and light homemade BBQ sauce. Sat on the patio.

The good: Great drinks, great service, delicious dinners. We love the sirloin! Tender and full of flavor. The staff is always friendly and attentive and make you feel invited. The food is excellent, period. And the specialty drinks are AMAZING! Wow! The lesser good: Only giving four stars because the last three times we were in for dinner the salad bar was lacking... everything! And the salad bowls are so small you really can't put many extras in. It seems more like a salad bar that would be in a pizza place. With how great the restaurant is as a whole, IMO it brings the experience down a few notches. read more

We ended up at Grub and Grog on a Sunday for lunch on a whim. Ordered the adult Mac and cheese, burger and fish and chips. The service was mediocre at best but that's not the worst of it.... The Mac and cheese was LITERALLY Kraft Mac and cheese. Complete with the Kraft noodles and tasted exactly like the powder packet was used. (Advertised as cavatapi noodles with cheddar and Brie). The fries were re heated tasting and the fish was literal fish sticks. Very disappointing. read more

Alas....This used to be a great local joint with great scratch made food and great service at reasonable prices, the kind of place you took anyone that came to visit. Well, the head cook quit and the new one makes food straight off the frozen food truck and not well. Most of the good staff left shortly after and now it's just an average joint. Bradford's is one of my favorites! The new space upstairs is fantastic. The food, drinks and service are top notch!

I used to love this place. Sadly, they have a new cook That's terrible. They change the menu. It's nothing like it used to be. We had the salad bar which had wilted lettuce hardly any lettuce left at 7 PM. The only choices were croutons, and baby corns the rest of all the other condiments on the salad bar we're gone the mashed potatoes were disgusting I I used to love this place and was a frequent flyer. We've been Patrons of Bradford's since they opened. We even did Take Out when CORONA hit and Take Out was all you could do. Today 10/9/2021 they let us down. I called over 6 times to place an order to go. NEVER EVER Got an Answer. I guess I'll go to the local Supermarket (Hays) and buy Hamburgers and Fries and just cook the Burgers Myself... A Small Town Like Berthoud relies on Small Businesses like Bradford's to survive. If they can't step it up they will end up closing down. I hope that the Owners See this Complaint. Good food so delicious would definitely come again in a heartbeat this place is not very busy until 6:00 and food arrived very fast! Not very loud when busy so your conversation won't be drowned out and very relaxing. Only thing is that there are no full booths just half chair half booth, but still comfortable! read more

This place has really gone downhill in terms of menu and food quality. It began as possibly the best restaurant in town and has steadily declined since. The chicken that used to be the staple of the menu, which was excellent, is now gone. There is nothing on the menu that stands out. The main dining area is open and uncomfortable. The staff seem to be trying, but there's only so much that they can do when the menu and ambience both suck. It's a shame, really. So much potential and so much need for good dining options in town- I really hope these guys turn things around. read more

Went in on a nippy fall day and we ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese. Uh-amazing! Without a doubt the best tomato soup & grilled cheese I have ever tasted. Christine took care of us with a smile & was extremely efficient & nice. She makes you feel like you're the only customer in the place. The place looks new and is spacious. Love their cozy seating. The bbq brisket caught my eye. They have a nice big bar with a lot of poisons but sorry I'm not much of a drinker. We will be returning here for a meal before we leave Colorado because the apple pie and bbq are calling my name. Great place to eat on the go or for a sit down meal with family or friends.
