I asked for it in the box so it didn't get cold because it was to go, he walked away & I p/u scorching hot pizza immediately to put away, it folded like a taco & dropped half of my pizza on the floors. I said, "dude I just dropped my pizza", he turned away & I start to clean up, only 2 other tables in this small area, he clearly watched & I walked up again & told him, I just dropped my pizza, could you help me? He scoops up half my $40 medium pizza & said absolutely nothing.. Asked him why I was served on cardboard w/no silver plate underneath, assured me that that's how they have served, I told him he was wrong, I grew up on this place, told me, "ask anyone in the back, we've never served pizza on anything but cardboard! Yelling @ me! Maybe I'm not remembering correctly about the way it was served but, I will provide pics that were served on silver pizza plates. The way the cardboard was ripped & creased & folding in the picture, who would serve a hot pizza like that & leave a box for customer when I had requested when I ordered it be in a to go box? We ordered 2 slices of pepperoni & jalapeño pizza and two beers. We met the owner Mr. G, and he was so pleasant and appreciative of us coming into his pizzeria. The customer service was wonderful and he offered us an appetizer, I chose buffalo wings and they were great. We wish the pizza had a little more sauce but overall, the experience, the atmosphere and service were outstanding. Thank you Mr. G for your great hospitality.

This lunch spot is in fact a STAPLE of the local area. It was very common for me coming in over the course of the month to see firefighters, postal workers, construction workers, police officers, etc. all sitting down and eating. The owner of course knew many of these people, so you know they enjoy coming in. This restaurant SERVES the community and I am not surprised at all that everyone in there enjoys the company and food. The girl behind the counter had a great personality, explained everything thoroughly, and made the entire experience enjoyable. She overheard that I don't eat pork for religious reasons and immediately offered to completely sanitize her station before preparing my sandwich. So the BYO you choose a sauce, and two toppings included for a minimum price of $24.00. After that you can add more toppings for the additional price based on what the add on is. My only issue here is that you order from the self serve kiosk, even though there was a guy sitting behind the kiosk and I'm sure could have taken my order, but they want you to take your own order. The good thing is, if I'm doing all the work of placing my own order, then I'm tipping myself since all they are doing is preparing the food item we ordered. That is what we are paying for. I did however had some questions which the guy helped me with, so I gave him a small cash tip for the little bit of help. The pizza came out after about 5-7 minutes since they have a super nice brick oven that cooks really fast.
