Avi did an amazing job in adding 10 recessed lights to our living space along with adding several outlets and upgrading to WiFi switches
    Chris L.

We were extremely fortunate to have stumbled onto Avi to take on a recessed lighting project for our home when just surfing Yelp. We also had about 15+ outlets (6 of which were GFCI additions), and 10+ switches as part of our project. As many know, it's tough to find the right person for the project (big or small) - we met with over 5 other individuals/companies and Avi came off the most impressive with his attention to detail and his price point. So glad we went with Avi as we now feel we have our go-to electrician - I would not want my family working with anyone else. When needing to make cutouts in our ceiling (for the recessed lights) and our walls (for wiring through additional outlets), Avi took extreme care in covering almost every surface with disposable covering to ensure no dust or drywall fragments got on any of our furniture/valuables. After working in each area, he meticulously cleaned the space so that we could return to using that part of the home while he rotated over to working on other parts of our house. He left no trash or debris behind and took all of it with him without asking (though we totally would've been ok with him dumping everything in our garbage can). As for the work itself...everything was done very well. We have had friends, who are general contractors, come by the house and complement how well done the job was. The recessed lights were measured several times for appropriate spacing, and he consulted us twice to confirm their positioning. We knew we found the right guy when he was patching a wall and told us he was not satisfied with the texture not being a 100% match, but to us, it was a very satisfactory 99% match - he was adamant about coming back to re-do it but we really didn't want him to spend the time on it (and we really could not tell the difference because the match was already THAT close). Avi also spent several hours in our garage bending conduits to add outlets throughout the space and ensured each conduit was shaped in a way so as not to interfere with all the tools/devices we have in the garage. We cannot highly recommend Avi enough for any of your home projects whether they are big or small. One of the kindest individuals I have met who is extremely thoughtful and considerate in everything he does.

    200 amp panel

I couldn't be more pleased with the work of Riskin Electric. First, Avi wired and installed an EV charging station at my home. He just completed upgrading the electric panel from 100 to 200 amp service. Communication and quality of work graded out at A+. Both projects were completed on time and at the original estimated price.

Found Avi on Yelp.. I'll be honest, I was shopping on yelp trying to get a ballpark of the pricing to install an EV charger and getting permits (home insurance purposes). I contacted 4-5 companies on Yelp and also those on the Tesla recommended list. Those listed on Tesla's website basically made you fill out pages of questionnaires as if you were applying for college. Anyway, Avi was the quickest to respond and the price was very very competitive and fair. He was also willing to go out of his way to get permitting. The process required him to visit the house first to measure the garage and snap a few pics to get the permits pulled. Then once the permits were good to go, he scheduled an appointment to do the install. Install was originally quoted at 1.5-2 hrs. Took him much longer than expected because of some unforeseen circumstances. There was suppose to be conduit exposed, but Avi found another route by opening up the drywall because it was easier to work with. He inspected the panel and found shoddy work done by previous contractors. Also had to rework the panel to fit new tandem breakers. I appreciate his extra care to rewire / splice existing wires to get things to work. Everything was patched up and cleaned after the installation. I just need to touchup the paint to blend everything in. Now I just need to wait for city to send out an inspector. p.s. he does have a few more 5 star yelp reviews which ended up being filtered. Seems like legit reviews that were flagged.

Rigo did a great job with the 3 things I had done: replacing an electrical panel, replacing 2 light fixtures, and installing a smoke alarm. He was on time, knowledgable, and efficient. I don't think it is necessarily the cheapest option around but with something like this, quality and experience matters and they did a great job and handle permits and such. They did exactly what I asked them to do and were responsive over email and able to ask the exact questions they needed which made things seamless. This is not necessarily a bad thing but they could have probably done some kind of "walk through" around the place and found some additional work for me. Upselling is obviously not always a great practice but in my case, there were some things that I wish I had done and I think they could have suggested them and left it up to me to say yes/no to during the initial inspection. For example my kitchen could definitely use at least 1 additional outlet, I should have probably replaced a 3rd light, and so on. I do respect that they don't try to take you on a ride but since it is probably efficient to do things all at once, may have been helpful to discuss (this was also my bad for not noticing these things before). Rigo did a bunch of smaller things that made a big difference too like taking out the packaging for the lights and the old ones as well as the old electrical panel, clearly labeling all the switches very neatly which was not well done before, answering my questions and explaining things in a way that I (someone with little knowledge about most of this stuff) would understand.

The project did take longer than initially expected due to delays outside of their control, but the quality of the work never wavered. From the beginning, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. They explained what needed to be done, why it mattered, and what to expect at each step, which made a potentially stressful process feel very manageable. Raushan, the project manager, was great to work with and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He was responsive, organized, and always made sure we were informed and comfortable with the plan. Alex, one of the technicians, worked incredibly hard during the rewire and clearly took pride in his work. Bek, another technician, truly went above and beyond - paying close attention to the details and making sure everything was done perfectly, not just "good enough." Beyond the rewire, they handled multiple additional electrical upgrades and fixes around the house, all done cleanly and correctly. What really stood out was trust. Having a crew in your home for a major electrical project isn't easy, but we always felt confident that they had our best interests in mind. No corner-cutting, no unnecessary upsells, just solid, high-quality work. The crew was respectful, showed up when they said they would, and stayed focused until the job was fully complete. I highly recommend Max Electric and would absolutely hire them again!

Our journey with Fuse didn't start with a grand vision; it started with one project. But excellence has a way of building trust, and that trust led us to a total home evolution. Reliability That Weathers the Storm (and the Heat) Two years ago, Fuse installed our HVAC system. Today, as we navigate a punishing heat wave, that system isn't just "running"--it is performing with surgical precision. For us, this isn't just about comfort; it's about care. We have a senior in our home, and the ability of the Fuse-installed system to regulate temperature flawlessly provides a level of peace of mind that you cannot put a price tag on. When the world outside is scorching, our home remains a cool, consistent haven. The Great Transition of 2025 In 2025, we decided to step into the future. We tapped Fuse to retire our decades-old gas water heater in favor of a high-efficiency electric heat pump. To power our new lifestyle, we also needed to upgrade our electrical backbone from a 100A to a 200A panel. This is where Fuse truly separates themselves from the pack. Their teams didn't just work; they worked tirelessly. They orchestrated the entire symphony of the upgrade, including the complex coordination with PG&E. (A shoutout to PG&E as well for their seamless cooperation!) Fuse handled the bureaucracy and the heavy lifting, leaving us with nothing to do but watch our home modernize before our eyes. A Legacy of Safety and Sustainability Today, my home stands as a testament to what is possible. We are now fully electric. No more gas usage. No more carbon footprint from fossil fuels. No more Carbon Monoxide (CO) concerns--ever. There is a profound sense of liberation that comes with cutting the gas line. We have eliminated a silent invisible risk, replaced it with clean technology, and ensured our home is ready for the next fifty years. The Verdict If you want a company that shows up, you can call anyone. But if you want a team that works with integrity, masters the latest technology, and treats your family's safety as their own, you call Fuse. They don't just fix houses; they empower homeowners. Don't wait for your old systems to fail. Step into the future. Call Fuse. You won't just be changing your appliances; you'll be changing your life.

The breaking point was when the internet became unreliable because the power was unreliable and the stove stopped working. I contacted Alex and he said he could send someone over that same day. He was transparent about the pricing before the job began. When his team member (Ming) came over he was thorough and transparent about what he found and Alex came over to assess himself. Turns out one of the main line coming into the house on the verge of burning out and thus the other 110v line was trying to compensate which caused it to also overload. This explained why the 240 outlets were not functioning. Our electrical was just old and the age caught up. He gave a reasonable estimate and fixed it by the end of the day. In passing, I also mentioned that although our stove worked, it seemed that it's power fades as I use it more and he was able to determine that line was under gauged for the load and was a fire hazard. Looking up the prior setup before my recent renovation, I see that they had incorrectly reduced the stove line from 40amps to 30amps. Alex and team was able to solved that problem as well, giving me updates along the way and providing very easy to understand explanations. This was an annoying problem plaguing us for years! Again, the pricing is very reasonable and the quality of work is exceptional. I highly recommend Alex Tong and his team.

We hired Eminent Electrical for a major and expensive project to replace our old knob-and-tube…read moresystem with a brand-new, grounded electrical system. Our top priority was the safety of our home and family as we had a less than a 1 year old at home. What we discovered post-completion was frankly terrifying, and the company's subsequent non-response is completely unacceptable. Alex completely brushed off our concerns Early in the project, we raised concerns when we discovered a cosmetic "shortcut" (a drywall patch done with toilet paper instead of proper material. they literally stuffed toilet paper in the wall then laid joint compound on top). We were personally assured by Alex that even though there were minor appearance issues, they would take absolutely no shortcuts on the actual electrical work. A few months later, while I was installing a simple light fixture, my father and I discovered an unmarked hot wire. In this switch box, a white conductor was being used as the LINE-Hot wire (constantly energized). This unmarked wire could have easily been mistaken for a neutral by anyone working in the box, which could have led to someone getting killed. When I informed Alex, he said I shouldn't be doing wiring, and admitted it should have been taped. He offered to come over and tape the wire (I already did it myself). No apology at all. It feels like they took short cuts throughout the job- if they failed to properly mark a live wire in the first box we opened, we simply cannot trust the integrity of the rest of the expensive rewiring job. When it comes to the safety of your home and family, avoid this company.
