Maple Valley location is great, so I was really looking forward to the new drive through in Kent they opened! So disappointed! Coffee taste burnt, lines are very long with the wait 20 minutes at least. I walked up to the window and waited a solid minute, and was ignored even though I was visible and the girl saw me. I heard this place was great so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I walk in I see almost every table is dirty. And it's not busy. I tried to redeem a loyalty card for an appetizer but am told no because they're under new management. Ok, I get it. But if I was trying to gain a return customer I'd honor it. I probably should've just left then but decided to give it a try. Pretty good menu choices. I did ask if I could substitute a ceasar salad for their chop chop salad because I wasn't crazy about garbanzo beans and the other topping and was told no. Which is interesting because ceasar salads seem way less expensive to make. Food was pretty good. Wine pour was short. But just can't get past the grouchy service. All in all paid $60 for two panini's and two glasses of wine. Oh and when I went to pay the register area was blocked with dirty dishes. Which was pretty gross. Bummer. Reading up on these reviews , it looks like this company either needs to change their bitchy employees or train them to be respectful and have a better attitude or the business might go under. I came in here once and the coffee was pretty good. I did however notice the bad vibes from the girl that took our order . When she put our drinks on the counter she quickly walked away and we had to ask the other cashier which coffee was who's . It's really annoying when your dealings with someone in customer service that does not do there job well. I my self use to be in customer service and that it not the way to act, especially with out reason. read more

Service was awful. Sunday morning coffee. Sign says: if you're eating in, seat yourself, if you're ordering out, order at the counter. So we sit down... and wait... and wait... and wait... meanwhile, the two staff at the counter make no eye contact nor do they say "we'll be with you in a minute". Finally, my fiance walked up to the counter and ordered us some coffee and him a sandwich. Sandwich was nuked so long in the microwave that it turned hard. I have been in twice each time 1-2 hours before the advertised closing time. Both time I. Was refused service because they were closing. Each time I have been told the owner has not updated the correct closing time online. Each of my visits were over a month apart. OWNER. Well we always liked this place of business. Nice atmosphere, good service and good food. Tonight on a date night, after not having gone out in a while. We decided to visit this establishment. I have to say I was very disappointed and very angry at the way we were treated not only by one of the waitress, but also by the manager (if he truly was the manager). Nothing intentionally done by us, in any way or form that would cause such a reaction from anyone that was in their right frame of mind. Bad case of indigestion not due to this treatment. My husband and I will not be treated in such manner, and refuse to eat at establishments that treat their customers in this form. Thus my 1 star. Perfect place to go to on a Sunday after a long week, especially if you had a long weekend of being wild in the night and can't function. Order yourself a bottle of wine, sit by the fire place and just relax. After that take a look at the menu and order some Delicious food, although the portions are sometimes small in my opinion, still worth it. They have live music there on the weekends, not sure if tits every weekend or if there is a schedule. Gets a bit loud though, I'm personally not a fan of live music because the place is small but the music is loud and can't even have a conversation since you have to scream over each other. Workers are friendly and easy going. Don't have to wait forever and half to order something or ask for additional orders. It's a good place to also go studying on the weekends, seems like that's what most people are there for. Definitely stop by. read more

We love this place. Been going here since they opened a little over a year ago now and we were here when they celebrated their one year anniversary. We became regulars and atmosphere lounge is amazing. Coffee or wine and great dishes like a cheese and meat plate with our wine is what we always get. BUT what was kind of annoying is the presence of so many people occupying large tables sipping just one cup of coffee for a long time while they worked or studied in their laptops etc. this is not your office, folks. I've been here twice now and I love their coffee! The second time I also got a simple croissant breakfast sandwich that had a lot of bacon and cheese which I liked, and would've been better with an egg. It's a cool space that reminds me of being in a log cabin in the mountains, except without having to commute to one. There's also live music and cocktails, either of which I've yet to experience yet and am looking forward to doing soon. A lovely place for a coffee date or to be cozy with a book. Next time I want to take a board game and hang out with the hubby, maybe order some cocktails and non-breakfast food. There's also a drive through option though I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here versus going to one that's on my way to somewhere. Hope this place sticks around for awhile! read more

Food was delicious. We were greeted timely upon arrival and were told of a $2 off martini special. Two of us (out of 3) ordered martinis. We ordered an appetizer and three of the sandwich and salad combos, all of which came out at the same time, 20 minutes later. After we finished, we asked for a check and waited about 15 minutes before finally going to pay at the counter. The server read out the total and we paid by card. We were only given a credit card slip to sign and tip and we tipped 20%. After we got in the car, we realized that the total didn't seem to add up, but we were not given an itemized receipt. I returned inside to ask for one and once it was printed, I realized that we had been charged for four sandwich and salad combos instead of three and that our martinis were charged at full price, as opposed to the $2 off that we were quoted. The server apologized and gave me 15 dollars back, but unfortunately we had tipped on the total of almost 80 dollars and in turn we felt shortchanged. Probably will not return. read more

I usually love this place. It is a great spot to come in and get some work done. This morning something happened and it REALLY bothered me. I understand that it is a nice day out and the drive thru was busy but when I got here, there was no one in front of me and no one in the drive thru either. ~I ordered an americano and a muffin ~it took OVER 10 minutes to get my coffee and when i finally got my coffee I politely reminded them of my muffin. In the meantime, people who ordered after me were receiving their items ~ I went to the counter 25 minutes AFTER I ORDERED and requested my muffin again. The lady behind me also mentioned that she has not received her coffee yet either. ~ The owner (i believe) decided to refund THAT customer her money but not me (who had been waiting for over 25 minutes to receive my full order & waited longer than the lady who got her money back) VERY DISAPPOINTED AND IRRITATED read more

When Ristrettos first opened my prayers had been answered. Close enough to home to walk there, great atmosphere, awesome food. My mom and I would walk there with our dogs a few times a week in the summer to enjoy lunch. In the winter we drove and sat near the fire. With that said, it pains me to leave this review. I think the problems started with the constant changing of wait staff. Then they lost Nate, the cook. The food was always (I mean ALWAYS) spectacular when Nate was in the kitchen. It looked beautiful, tasted amazing, I just can't say enough. After Nate was gone mistakes started happening. I'm not a picky person so a mistake isn't a big deal. Except when the mistake is so bad that the food is inedible or doesn't even look anything like what you ordered. There is nothing worse than ordering takeout and when you get home what you've been given is rediculously wrong. It's almost as if whoever is in the kitchen just threw what they thought would pass as food and sent it out. No care on whether it was right, tasted good or even looked appetizing. And I only get more and more annoyed when the mistakes continue to happen even when I'm dining at the restaurant. ESPECIALLY when it happens two days in a row. I've spent a lot of money at Ristrettos, like I said I've been a customer since they opened. I even had my daughter's baby shower in their party room with wonderful Ristrettos food. When food looks good and tastes good I don't mind paying a bit more. But when the taco truck down the street is more reliable there is a problem. It saddens me that the dream had to end. read more
