Their food truck is an upgrade when i last saw them. I was told they are there from 10 am to 4 pm, in front of 1068 Mission. Had their crispy chicken and it was quite crispy. Two chicken drumsticks and thighs. The top was scored. It was juicy and crunchy. Came with a good amount of rice, 1.5 cups to 2 cups? Tiny lettuce and tomato. Can't wait to try some other dishes. You literally have to eat it soon for the crispyness. You ask? Where? There's some tables in the courtyard of Trinity building (old Whole food on 8th st and Market). The Fox plaza once you get a drink from Starbucks. Library downstairs? City hall park? Yerba Buena Center?

5 STARS! NO DOUBT! We ordered double cheese burger, lumpias, lechon kawali, bbq chicken and cheese steak. Everything tastes delicious! Cooked freshly and very affordable. We forgot to take photos because we're excited to eat them. I recommend for you to eat the meal in person for a very satisfying experience! The delivery might take longer so best to grab it personally. Regarding the line, no regrets waiting at least we are aware that the meals are freshly prepared.

Anything that comes out of her food truck is good. And she has pictures of the food outside the truck to help you decide.

By far the best Filipino food truck in town. Rita and her crew deliver delicious Filipino/American food at a price most locals can afford.

Open air, a mix of food trucks, people hanging out, dogs everywhere, and that easy San Francisco energy where you can show up however you are and it fits. It never feels like a production, just a good place to land. We have eaten our way through a decent chunk of the trucks at this point, and that is half the fun. One day it is something messy and indulgent, the next it is lighter, but it always hits. Grabbing a drink, finding a spot at the picnic tables, and slowly settling in as the place fills up is kind of the rhythm. It is social without being overwhelming, lively without being chaotic. What keeps us coming back is how consistent it feels in the best way. It is easy, flexible, and always a good time whether you stay for an hour or lose an entire afternoon there. It is the kind of spot that turns into a routine before you even realize it, and honestly, we are not mad about it.

I've tried the sandwiches, dumplings, Mexican food, and empanadas and have really enjoyed everything. The empanadas are especially good, and the beer is even better! There are two different sections across the street from each other, and both have plenty to choose from. They also have mini golf, fire pits, and larger cabanas you can rent, which is great for birthdays or group events. It's all outdoors, so definitely come on a nice SF day. Good food, drinks, lots of space, and a really fun atmosphere. I've been back several times and will definitely keep coming!

Expect to wait in line for chicken and the porchetta sandwich during lunch hours. WHOLE ROLIROTI GOURMET ROTISSERIE CHICKEN ~ dark meat was good while the white meat was dry. They need some kind of dipping sauce or something for it. Seasoning was not evenly spread out so some parts were saltier on the skin. Lots of herbs like thyme and rosemary. Just too bad the meat didn't stay juicy. 3.5/5 ROTISSERIE PORCHETTA SANDWICH ~ skin was crispy and burnt, so it was bitter yet crunchy. Pork was tender, but I didn't taste much of the jam. I did not like the bitter burnt skin. I personally thought it threw the flavor off. If it wasn't bitter, it would have scored higher. I always enjoy bread toasted when having a sandwich. Sadly, they don't toast it. My friend loves this sandwich and told me the skin wasn't supposed to be crunchy and burnt! So I'm assuming this wasn't typical. 3/5 The 4 of us shared the whole chicken and split the porchetta sandwich. But hearing that the sandwich wasn't made correctly this time around, I'm compelled to give it another try in the future.

It's gotta be worth it. I waited in line for probably 20 minutes. While I was in line, I was watching the staff, prepare their most popular item which was the porchetta sandwich. I was getting hungrier watching them make each sandwich. Luckily once I ordered and paid, they immediately hand you one that's already made so you don't have to wait. I normally don't buy lunch when I'm in the office. I usually do meal preps, but now, I check their calendar to see if they're going to be at the Ferry Building so I can pick up a sandwich for lunch. That's how much I like them. And even pitching the idea of getting catering from them for our next work gathering. Since this is a food truck, there's not much to comment about regarding the location. The ferry building has chairs and tables where you can sit and eat, but this is more of a grab and go lunch.

Never thought of yogurt as a marinade, but hey it works! +Organic spring mix salad was fresh and lightly dressed w/vinaigrette. +Lutenitsa, a Bulgarian spread made with roasted red peppers and other veggies, was flavorful and not spicy. -Chicken was burnt in a lot of parts: Seems like it was left too long on the grill -Herb polenta cake was soft, but bland. TWICE AT GOLDEN GATE PARK…read more In the past 11 months I've been to two exhibitions at De Young Museum. After the exhibitions instead of eating at the cafe in the museum I would look at food trucks at Golden Gate Park. After those two exhibitions I've ordered food from this food truck. The first time I came to Cochinita was in September after the exhibition featuring photos taken by Paul McCartney during the rise of The Beatles. The item that stood out from the truck was the elote tots. They were Mexican-style corn kernels top over tater tots. I am a sucker for tater tots. With sour cream and sauce I was worried if the tater tots would be soggy. The tater tots were still crispy. The complimenting textures of corn and tater tots made this a satisfying dish. The second time I came to the food truck at Golden Gate Park was the last day of exhibition "Monet and Venice." I was hoping to see if the elote tater tots were available; they weren't. I scanned up and down the items available listed on the food truck. One item that intrigued me was the tradicional - a plate with two types of fried tortilla. The panucho is regular fried while the salbut is fried with a puffy appearance. I love fried food, but these two tortillas weren't oily. These two kinds of tortilla fried dishes provided different textures to the toppings. I never ate Yucatan food before ordering food at Cochinita. If you are tasting a new cuisine you never had before ordering from a restaurant versus a food truck is different. Whereas in a restaurant while sitting you ask for recommendation whereas at a food truck while you're standing you go with your gut feeling. From my two experiences at the Cochinita food truck I ordered items I never had before and I enjoyed both of them. If I go to the Chochinita food truck at Golden Gate Park again and see elote tots, panucho, and salbut what will I order next time? I'm going to order an item I never had before.

We arrived on a weekend afternoon. I didn't realize this spot was from LA and how popular it was! The taco truck is bright orange and easy to find. Lines can get long, but they go by relatively fast. Service wasn't the friendliest, interaction-wise, but the good came out in a reasonable time, considering the line and it being made to order. There are a couple of standing tables, which we ate at with our dogs. Most folks took their food to go. So I didn't realize they were known for their Al Pastor, which I ended up getting. I got one Al Pastor and one Carnitas Taco. The meat is marinated and off a spit. It had a nice flavor, and I'd get both again. When you receive your tacos, they ask if you want toppings and salsa. It's nice in the sense that you can build it to your liking. All the salsas are good; my friend and I enjoyed the avocado one the best. Along with tacos, they have other food and drink items. I got the delicious Horchata. The only thing is prices weren't actively posted, so keep that in mind. I'm not too familiar with the Mexican food truck scene in the city. For the price and what we wanted, Leo's Tacos was a good option. Find them off the Great Highway with residential parking and a lot as well.
