BEST PHARMACY Of the pharmacies here where I'm living, Rite Aid is the best and most reliable. Head PHARMACIST: STEVEN BOOTH Contacts: Diana and Lisa and one other woman Pharmacist have each given me caring feedback to my questions and continue to help me feel welcome every time. Each is patient and kind. I actually head straight back to the Pharmacy with a quick look over the products on the way out. It is helpful that this store takes care in not over stocking with unnecessary choices. They had what I needed. But what I didnt need was the lazy excuse of a cashier. She sat at the register. First red flag. Too lazy to stand. I walk up n set my things down and say hello. No response. I say hello again. No response. I say it a 3rd time louder and she says, "oh hi. Youre the last person on my mind." Wtf? Then starts ringing me up and when it came time to pay SHE decided that I didnt want to enter my number to get 5 bucks off my total.....so I made her re do it so I could get my discount. When its all done and over with I say thank you and bye and guess what???? No response! If youre gonna work customer service, learn some danm customer service. It was suprising that a 60 year old lady would have such lack of manners. Just like millions of other lazy people, shes just there for a pay check. Hire better people and for gods sake, fix the freezer and bring back the ice cream cones! read more

I live in Healdsburg and I have had very good experiences there. I much prefer this pharmacy in town over the other major drug store. Sometimes it does take awhile to get assistance in the ice cream department, but tell me, where have you been lately that the clerk washes hands very well THEN applies gloves to scoop your ice cream. I appreciate that! And the staff is always friendly -throughout the store. It is a little dated visually however. read more

Thrifty Ice Cream center closed! It's 100 degrees outside on a Sunday afternoon and they are not serving their delicious ice cream? The young man who spoke to me didn't seem to thrilled to be working there. Been coming here since the 80's when the store was a Payless/Thrifty center. Today, it's a place where you will never know how someone will respond to your request.. And it's not so much what they say, it's how they say things, often downright rude. My last to experience here has greatly improved. Things of been ready on time or however the rest the store not the pharmacy still has the bathroom problem and it's a little bit weird some of the stuff they carry her but overall I think it's improved a lot of the staff at pharmacy greatly younger fresher more engaging read more

They could be understaffed in the Pharmacy Service is always very slow. Clerks are friendly. Rite Aid corporation needs to spend some money on the exterior. The driveup pick-up bays are both broken and clerk said it would cost $5.000. to repair them. Wonder if RiteAid is going down the tubes(?) read more

Standard drugstore (think Walgreens) with plenty of items and decent prices. Pro is that there's an ice cream shop within. Con is no cigarettes. When I went to checkout there was no one to help in site so I put my stuff down and left after a few minutes. read more

I was staying in Healdsburg for several days, so I went to the Rite Aid there to pick up some things that I needed. The woman in the front named Irma seemed friendly at first, but when she rang up my items, she seemed irritated that I was talking to her. Fortunately, there was a very nice lady working in the pharmacy, who helped me out with something that I couldn't find. It was when I was looking for some things in the store, there were people working in there using floor cleaning machines. I had never been in a store that cleaned the floors like that when the store was open? I had already shopped and checked out once, so I went back to check out with Irma, who really didn't acknowledge me the second time at all. The next day, I needed to find something else related to skin care, but I went to Walgreen's instead, because I didn't like the service I got at Rite Aid when I was checked out twice by someone who didn't look like she liked her job. read more
